Chance City #5

When the Thunder Rolls

Rate this book
Beautiful, spirited Jin Cho has a hard choice ahead of her. Being courted by both Daniel and Sly Lone Wolf, aka, the Thunder Twins, is fun and exciting, but sooner or later she must make a choice. But how can a woman choose between such charismatic, handsome men?

Daniel is a tall drink of water with arresting blue eyes, a wicked sense of humor, and an exuberant personality. The expert horseman makes her laugh and her pulse run wild.

With his dark, smoldering eyes and dry wit, Sly has a charm all his own. His quieter nature reminds Jin that still waters run deep and his kisses set her on fire.

Amid danger and tragedy, hearts are united and broken. Can love pull them all through or will the tempests of life keep them apart?

Writing has been a passion of mine since I was in high school. I attended Full Sail University, where I honed my craft. I live in Pennsylvania and I’m an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I enjoy singing and performing in theatrical endeavors when I’m not writing.

I'm currently writing two series: The Chance City Series (Sensual Western Historical Romance) and The Paha Sapa Saga (Sensual Native American Romance). I have other projects coming this year and I'll keep you up-to-date on them.

My stories are sensual, but although my love scenes are spicy, they aren't overly graphic. I no longer have sweet versions of my books available. Sorry for any inconvenience that causes. Regarding the way I use POV: I'm a former script writer and I write my books as though they are a TV episode or a play. You'll "see" each character's reaction to other characters or whatever is going on in the story.

Although each of my books includes a complete HEA and can be read as a stand alone, it's best to read them in order since I have an ensemble "cast", with characters from earlier books appearing in each of the books as each of the series continues.

Excellent read

It’s sort of a rare jewel to come across a book that deals with such a timeless source of pain and tragedy in such a compassionate and understanding manner and yet leaves you with a sense of hope for the gaining ground in very different human perspectives. Enjoy 👍👍👍💜

Good story, worthy of a read

Well this was a little angsty for my taste, but it is awfully well done! An important story that is well told, with enjoyable characters that you care about.

Still has a few proofreading needs.

Amazing Read

I don't know how Robin Deeter does it, but each book gets better and better. She deals with real life issues not the predictable fluff you get in a lot of historical western romance books. The is love, adventure, tragedy and redemption. The characters come to life on the pages of this series and weave their way into your heart. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read!

Excellent. Well written story of love, heartbreak, disappointment, survival and family. Be prepared for some tough subjects that will stir a plethora of emotions. You can almost feel the pain of some of the characters. This series just keeps getting better
