The reason on why i thought the book was very good is because it took you through this guy Russ Greens life of when his daughter London was born and his life of when he was growing up what it was like during his childhood with his sister Marge. I also thought the book was sad at the end when his sister died of cancer and when he got a divorce from his wife Vivian. I also liked the fact that it showed how close he was to his sister and when he went and found the love of his life from college Emily. I also liked the fact that the two kids were best friends and that Emily was there for Russ while he was getting a divorce from his wife Vivian and that he and Emily would take the kids to the zoo and other outings to do play dates.

Great story, although I was a little disgusted with all the main character put up with from his wife. I found the book captivating and hated to finish it. Now I need another book to get me through the gloom of winter!
Such a range of emotions, I ended sobbing. He gets you so close to the characters. Build you up the entire book that you are scared he won't wrap it all up, but he does very well!
