A short horror story about the pitfalls or ruthless career progression

Larry Hawthorne has been set up to take the blame for a colossal screw up at the prestigious finance company for which he works.

With the help of a dusty old Dot Matrix printer sending him cryptic messages, he begins to formulate a plan that will take his enemies down and ensure his meteoric rise to the top.

This is probably the most action packed short story I've read. I mean, a boring office job is turned into a crazy killing fest guided by a dot matrix... yep, an ancient printer. Blood will spill, people die and karma truly is a B*itch! :D

Wonderful writing, totally engaging!

I want to say, "That's just wronng!" but...

Have you ever been stuck in a dead-end job, where not only are you consistently passed over for promotions, but it seems to be your lot to be the whipping boy for everybody who is over you?

Daydream about revenge much?

Typical office politics, atypical solution-from a Dot Matrix printer! Karma’s a b**** – “Kill them! Kill them all!!” Freaky little book – and somehow, hilarious!

I can only say that what this teeny tiny tome lacks in length, it more than makes up for in writing, storyline and character development. Really. And in only 23 pages!

A little bit of horror, a little science fiction and a lotta murder. Sorta.

Dot Matrix is every desk jockey’s wet dream (and subsequently, nightmare). A silly yet relate-able yet preposterous yet horrifying tale of the average Joe climbing his way to the top by using a possessed printer. Yes, you read that right. I won’t spoil it for you – this story is too good not to read, and you’ll be going ‘muahahahaha’ by the end.

Ok read

It was an ok short story. Predictable to be sure, but worth the short time it took to read. Minus one star for my American sensibilities.
