4 - "Damn, I've missed you." Stars!
We return to the Renegades series with the fifth book; Rendezvous. I have been reading this series since the start and I absolutely love these guys.
The relationship between Keaton and Brooke, started out in the previous book, in that it is when they initially meet and both of them were very much a part of the story that played out between Troy and Ellie, I really liked them as secondary characters in that book, so it was good to see them finally get their happily ever after, although as you would expect there were more than a few obstacles along the way to them getting there.
"I’ve never, you know, done this before, so I’m probably not going to be very good at it for a while…
I absolutely adored this story. Skye jumped straight in with the chemistry and sexy times, and Keaton was an absolute sweetheart to Brooke.
"You’re built like a tank, but you move like a fucking panther."
After initially parting due to Brooke’s unexpected familial commitments coming up a year ago, it takes them both by surprise when they bump into each other again. The one kiss they shared back then, promised all sorts of potential sexy-goodness between them, and Keaton doesn’t waste any time getting right back to where he wanted to originally be with Brooke - naked, sweaty and in every position conceivably imaginable.
"Some men say… that there’s nothing like a good girl with a dirty mind. Where you’re concerned, my mind is good and dirty…"
I loved that Brooke was equally as confident as Keaton when it came to their bedroom antics, and that although in a really crappy position due to her familial commitments, she wasn’t afraid to explore the connection between them as well. The drama when it comes isn’t unexpected, but the author played it out well and it wasn’t overdone.
"There’s nothing temporary about my feelings for you."
I absolutely loved the epilogue to this one as well, you get to catch up with the rest of the guys and girls from the previous books as well. All in all, another excellent addition to the Renegades series, and I hope that the author takes her readers back there again very soon.

3.5 STARS!!
Goodness I hearted Keaton. He was a successful stuntman for the Renegades and I was on board as soon as I saw that he was a sixth-degree black belt. Say what? His life has become stagnant, at least as far as his love life or lack thereof. He's looking for more and fate steps in and hands him Brooke, the girl that got away. Now Brooke I didn't have alot of love for. Although I admired her devotion to her family, I found her lacking in maturity. I felt that the many ways in which she hurt Keaton throughout this story were unnecessary and avoidable and I was disappointed that she suffered no real consequences or repercussions. Keaton was the one doing all of teh work for their HEA. Not cool. But at least I got some Keaton out of the deal ;)

In this Renegades novella, Keaton Holt is tired of the types of women who throw themselves at him. Looking for something much deeper, but unable to find it, Keaton grows frustrated. While in Austin working, his mind wanders back to the woman he met, a woman he shared barely a kiss with and who is the exact opposite of the types of women who seem to latch on to him.
Brooke had a great life as Ellie’s assistant, but when her sister needed help – she left and helped. Leaving behind the job she loved and the man she was just starting to feel things for. Now working for a beast of a boss, Brooke is elated to find herself face to face with Keaton.
The love story between these two develops with the outside complications of a sick nephew and a boss that is out to get what she wants at all costs. But for Keaton, he knows the kind of beauty that comes from loving a woman like Brooke and he’s going to prove to her how they can make this work, even if it seems everything else is bound to ensure it doesn’t.
Picking up the 1001 Nights novella was a spur of the moment decision. I didn’t really pay attention to which one I was buying, but was pleasantly surprised with this story was contained within its pages. I am a huge fan of this series and still can recall so many moments of the series so vividly. This was my 6th book from Skye Jordan in the month of December. I sort of fell into a binge-read and loved every second of it.

Fast paced setting in the mad world of movie making. The h is an amazing PA for a mean actress who has had a ONS with the H. He's a stunt guy and they are both working for a short time at the same lot. The h is supporting her family, needs to keep her high paying job, so understands their affair has to be kept quiet. She likes him more than she should, and he's realised that he wants more than ONS. It was a sweet, and steamy romance with bumpy roadblocks to overcome.

I don't know what it is about Skye Jordan's writing, but every time I open a book by her I become completely immersed from the first word to the last one. Rendezvous is a fast paced, exciting and sexy story and best of all the Renegades are back in action and another one falls hard for the woman that got away from him before they had a chance to start. I loved the intensity of this book, this couple's connection, and the sacrifices they both made to make their relationship work.
Just as stunt fighter Keaton Holt is finishing up a job in Austin, Texas he runs into the woman he wanted to get to know better, Brooke Dempsey. Just as they begin to think luck will have them in the same place for at least a little while, someone from Keaton's past rears her ugly head making their lives miserable.
From the minute Keaton and Brooke reconnect it was easy to feel the attraction and heat between them; more than that though it is evident that their feelings go beyond the physical even when they aren't ready to admit it.
I loved these two together and the fact that Keaton whose past with women was legendary was looking for something more with Brooke and while she wanted him she knew that them being together would be a challenge due to them living on different coasts. Brooke's job is important to her as she is supporting her sister and her sick nephew, but her boss is problematic especially with Keaton in the picture. While I was a bit disappointed in the way Brooke handled things, I understand that her nephew's health was her first concern and I admire the fact that Keaton understood how important that was to her.
Action packed and sexy I loved this couple and their journey; getting to see all the Renegades and their significant others was a huge bonus that made me extremely happy.

This is the first of the Renegade series that I've read. I've often checked out the covers and thought they were hot but haven't yet had the time to try one. I've tried her as Joan Swan so I sort of knew how she wrote.
Rendezvous is book #5 of the series so I wasn't sure how it would read. Would I be lost, or would I be able to jump right in and feel like I've been there since book one? It was a little of both. At times I thought...huh? but for the most part I had no trouble keeping up.
I think it helps that I enjoyed both Brook and Keaton. I wanted to know their story. This is a wonderful mix of a sweet story with some hot moments. A perfect balance. After reading Rendezvous I wanted to read more of this series.
You'll find it to be well written with characters that keeps you reading more. It's only about 150 pages or more so you'll be able to read this in a afternoon. Another plus with a busy life.

I am such a fan of Skye Jordan's Renegade series so it was exciting to see that we were going to get Keaton's story, one of the lesser known of the Renegade heroes. Throw in the fact that this was a second-chance love story and I was sold! Sweet and swoony, with just enough angst, Rendezvous will keep you flipping pages to make sure Keaton and Brooke get their HEA!
Rendezvous is a quick read- and while it may be short on pages, it sure isn't short on quality. The love story of Brooke and Keaton will tug at your heart- they have their fair share of hurdles to overcome, between her job, her family situation, and his past history. But if you know Skye, you know she won't let our couple suffer for too long before things come together for them, in the best possible way! A really great addition to the wonderful Renegade series!

LOVED IT!!! The book was amazing! I loved it because not only was it a solid contemporary romance, but it had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. VERY spicy ;) This is my first Skye Jordan book, and I really liked her writing style. The characters, especially Brooke, were realistic and acted like real people. No ditzy heroine here! And Keaton. My goodness. He fell hard for his lady and he did not let her go without a fight! Talk about swoon. I was introduced to many characters that, I'm assuming, have all had their own stories told. While I am now ECSTATIC about reading them all, I don't feel it was necessary to have read them in order to enjoy this book. All in all, I loved reading this and I am now a Skye Jordan fan!!! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

4.50+ RATING- I'm not sure how I forgot about the Renegades series. I don't love second chance romances so I skipped the last one and didn't realize a fifth book came out yesterday. I'm so happy I ran across something announcing this and decided to pick it up! Several of the books in the Renegades series have rated very high for me and Rendezvous was no different. It was the perfect mix of sexy and sweet. I really liked both characters and Keaton was a sexy beast. Wowzer. This author never disappoints when it comes to steam and she definitely didn't skimp here. The writing was very readable, the story pulled me in from the beginning, and the pacing was great. Everything about this hot little read worked for me and I'm happy to be back on track with these guys.

This was a great addition to the series. Keaton is a dirty talking bad boy who I couldn't get enough from.
I liked the friendship that was formed before these two made any commitment between each other.
While they had chemistry I didn't think he was as demanding as he could have been .
I was able to read the book for a honest review

4 Another Chance Makes it Perfect Stars
If you follow my reviews, you know I'm a lifelong Skye Jordan fan and The Renegades are one of my all time favorite series. Rendezvous is Book Five is this amazingly hot series that follows Hollywood Stuntmen. We briefly got a glimpse of Keaton and Brooke in Restless.
These two had such a connection when they met, but due to circumstances beyond their control, more on Brooke's side than his, that connection had to be severed when Brooke moved across the country to be with family and to help her very ill nephew. Fast forward twelve months and Keaton is "done" with the women that constantly come on to him and as he's thinking of Brooke and what they could have had, he thinks he sees her in Austin where he's just finished filming a movie. When he discovers it is her, all the feelings he had for her and what he's looking for in a woman and a relationship center on Brooke....
Thanks to miscommunication and some stubbornness these two falter and my heart was breaking for them because they both need each other to balance their lives. Leave it to Ms. Jordan to not let me down and when things with Brooke's nephew improve our H/h have a chance again.
While this was a quick read, it did not skip out on laughter, emotion or hotness and it's a great addition to The Renegades Series!

"Brook was pure honey - fresh, real, raw goodness and sunshine. She instantly lightened the weight in his heart."With the one night they think they have together, their reconnection is one for the record books in more ways than one and is seriously some of the hottest sex I've read. This shouldn't have surprised me however, since Ms. Jordan is very well known for her off the charts hot sex scenes! They want to have a forever and it looks like this just may happen when Keaton ends up staying in Austin....until he meets Brooke's crazy, crank bitch of a boss, Jillian and all the things that could've been evaporate for a multitude of reasons. I actually gasped and even said a "don't do it" a time a two while reading this part of the book.

4.5 stars! Love Keaton and Brooke. I also how this author takes an alpha bad-ass and shows his vulnerable side. Brooke is a sweet, compassionate, dedicated woman who is hopelessly attracted to Keaton. What a great pair. Loved this instalment. What a great series.

What a fantastic read! Rendezvous is another must-read in the fabulous Renegades series by Skye Jordan. If you like undeniable sexual chemistry, characters that tug at your heart, an exciting plot, and an ending that will leave you with a smile on your face, give Rendezvous a try.
Keaton is a Renegade - one of those sexy, badass, stuntmen. Brooke is a personal assistant to a narcissistic celebrity (I have another term but can't use it in a public review). Jordan's characters are always strong, smart and you fall for them right away. I liked that Brooke got angry at times over having pity party for herself. I really enjoyed Keaton's personality as well. He is just so nice. There is always amazing passion between the hero and heroine in one of Jordan's books and the love scenes in Rendezvous are phenomenal. Even when they are a bit naughty, they maintain an intimate feel that has you hanging on every word you read and a little turned on.
In addition to the love scenes that we all expect to read in a Renegades book, there is so much story in Rendezvous. Jordan is a great storyteller and brings the reader such pleasure with her unique plot that had me reading as fast as I could but also slowing down so I didn't miss a thing. If you like to feel the whole gamete of emotions while reading, Rendezvous will do this for you.
As with any series, I love the appearance of characters from previous books and Rendezvous does not disappoint in this area. It's like coming home when the gang is all together! If you are looking for a smoking hot, sexy contemporary romance I highly recommend Rendezvous by Skye Jordan.

Rendezvous is Skye Jordan’s 6th book in the Renegades series and is a very fine read indeed. I fell in love with the Renegades in Book 1 – Reckless and Ms. Jordan continues to win my heart with this latest addition to the series.
Keaton Holt is a good guy in a bad boy package. After years of the wrong women he had finally found the girl for him, “Little Miss Vanilla”, Brooke Dempsey. Only Brooke was a good girl wishing for bad boy Keaton. When they finally are able to be together, love ignites.
Through twist and turns, things don’t always work out the way they want. But their love cannot be denied and they find their way back to each other.
“Because this wasn’t just about the sex. The way he looked at her, the way he held her, the way he owned her went much deeper than the physical.”
Skye Jordan continues to give us the stories we want to read and the characters we want to have the HEA.

Rendezvous, the newest addition to the Renegades series, was the perfect "me time" escape! Savvy dialogue, emotional upheavals, and a cast of characters that makes you wish you lived in their world, all made for a story that drew me in right from the start! (Also, bonus points for the setting of the story-Austin, Texas! Whoop!)
Fans of the series know that Keaton is notorious for attracting all the ladies, and he usually winds up with the ones you wouldn't take home to mom. In Rendezvous, Keaton recognizes that something's missing from his life. Enter Brooke...the one that got away. Well, he's not sure she was "the one", but he definitely feels like it was a missed opportunity. The budding movie industry in Austin, Texas sets up the perfect scenario for them to cross paths. Of course, their chemistry is off-the-charts! (I don't think Skye Jordan would give her readers anything less!) Keaton and Brooke decide to explore this chemistry, despite the fact that they're on borrowed time.
I was completely hooked, reading along as the couple dealt with a ghost from Keaton's past, and Brooke's work and family issues. If you're a fan of the other books in the series, I hope you've already picked this book up. If not, you've got some catching up to do...and you're gonna' love it!
My favorite lines from the book: "She instantly lightened his heart. And if she could do this for him after almost a damn year, he couldn't even imagine what his life would be like to have someone as awesome as Brooke around him every day." (Loc 195) Cue the swoon, y'all! Keaton is amazing!

Skye Jordan’s ‘Renegade’ series has provided some brilliant reads with hot sexy characters and this latest instalment ‘Rendezvous’ is no different, 4 stars from me.
Brooke and Keaton know one another but haven’t seen each other in a year since Brooke moved away. Brooke is a stuntman for the Rengades, he has a well earned reputation of womanising and as he is wrapping up his latest role he thinks he spies Keaton, someone from his past that he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about. Seeing Keaton again brings to mind all the possibilities of a connection/relationship that he would love to have with her. Unfortunately Keaton is not so keen.
Keaton has the responsibility of her sick nephew to help care for but the coming together (no pun intended) of these two characters is hot. Thinking their time together is limited they have an amazing night together. However it is obvious that their attraction goes past just a physical one and that there are some real feelings underneath on both sides.
There are some major points of miscommunication and misunderstanding along with some unexpected people getting in the way of these two characters being together. Can the obstacles in front of them be the finish of them? You definitely hope not as when reading the book you can’t help but love Brooke and Keaton when they are together.
Skye Jordan has managed to write another great book with sizzling heat and passion between the main characters as well as making them personable and likeable. Another great addition to the series and well worth a read.

Hot Damn these Renegades books are fantastic, and Rendezvous is no exception! I have been a huge fan of this series since book #1 Reckless, came out, and as each new book is released they seem to be getting better and better! We have had glimpses of Keaton in past books and now we have him all to ourselves in this one.
Keaton is really fed up with the type of women he attracts, aggressive, no-holds- barred in the bedroom. He wants what his fellow Renegades have found....the perfect woman to compliment him in and out of the bedroom....he wants Brooke! Since the untimely death of her Brother-in-law, Brooke has taken over the responsibility of helping her sister and her Nephew, and that means putting up with a crappy boss because the pay is great. She needs that pay to get her sister through school and her Nephew through the new medical treatments.
Keaton & Brooke reunite just as he is leaving his job and her boss is starting a new one. An opportunity arises for Keaton to stay on and work on the same movie set as Brooke's boss, but, a long ago one night stand with Brooke's boss could wreak havoc with what they have started.

This is the 5th book in the Renegades Series. It's a stand alone book and the series doesn't have to be read in order. The book is well written with likable characters and a plot that keeps you interested.
Rendezvous is the story of Keaton Holt and Brooke Dempsey. Keaton is a stuntman with a black belt and has sown his wild oats far and wide. He is tired of the bold, brassy groupies and wants what his other friends have found. True Love with the Perfect Woman. He can't stop thinking about Brooke, if he just had enough time with her, he think she may be it.
Brooke Dempsey is a personal assistant to a legit Crazy Bitch and is trying to keep her job for at least another year to help pay for health care for her chronic ill nephew. She happens to be in Austin, TX for her job and in walks the man that gotta away...Keaton Holt. He sits down and the attraction is full blown and she decides then and there that she had to have him, even if for only a night. Brooke finds out that her boss has Keaton her in sights and they have to keep their sleeping arrangement to themselves. If her jealous boss, Jillian, finds out then she could lose her job. Fabulous
## LOVED IT. I so enjoyed this book. I read late into the night (or early morning technically) because I was eager to find out how these two would find their HEA. I won't go into the plot because that's covered in the overview, but I will say I loved this couple together. Their chemistry was off the charts. I love that the story wasn't inundated with just sex. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of naughty times. And I did roll my eyes at how many orgasms the heroine had each time. I mean 7 or 8. Really? But the rest was fantastic so I let that slide. I adored Brooke. She was capable, loving, and playful. Keaton was great as well. I love how he didn't let women touch him. Of course every woman wanted him, but he would say "Did I say you could touch me?" Or he would just tell them he's not interested. Most 'player' heroes just let the women grope them and of course it gives the heroine the wrong idea. Not so here. Brooke and only Brooke. I can highly recommend this book and definitely book 1 as well. Lexi was another outstanding heroine.

Still loving this series as I’m binge reading them. Mad at myself for not buying book 2 years ago after I finished book one (when you could still buy it in kobo) and then keeping book 2 on my library for kindle. Dumb me.

Jax and Lexi ended their book, few months later Wes snd Rub made it official together. Few months for Rachel and Ryker. Josh and grace were a bit as they were on honeymoon when Troy and Ellie and it 14 weeks AFTER her hit so going on maybe 30 together before it’s end. Finally we get Keagan and Brook who saw each other a year ago and they took 9 ish months to start to end of book.
Why aren’t Jax and Lexi married yet? It’s been 2.5yrs maybe 3 years engaged ?? Swear they are at this point. And why aren’t the others who r so in love married? Esp Troy who proposed?

This is another amazing HEA novel in Skye Jordan's Renegades series that seriously shouldn't be passed up.

Loved all the Renegades books
I read the series and very much enjoyed them all. The story in each book as written well and I did not want to put them down. Will pick others that you have written. The only suggestion i would like to make is to write a little more at the ending. Each book in the series had a beginning a middle and an ending. The beginning and the middle were well written and kept my interest to see what would happen next over many chapters leading to the ending but ... All of a sudden the ending was there and it only took a page and a half and it was done. Need to enjoy the ending by stretching it out to be able to really enjoy the completion of a good story.

Beautiful
Every book I read in this series makes me fall deeper in love with Ms. Skye Jordan! The couple & their story is unique and fun every time but the trials they face are very real, huge issues that face many people today. I applaud Ms Jordan for taking these on & writing such poignant stories about life with Chronic Illness, as in "Rendezvous," and also PTSD, Severe Anxiety, Depression, Claustrophobia, Isolation, Childhood Abuse & Neglect, Foster Care, & many others in the previous "Renegades" books. I can't wait to move on to the next and when I finish this series, I want to see what she's done outside of this! I'm thrilled to get to know more of her work!
