For a long time I couldn't understand why I felt so tired and lacking energy when I raced motocross professionally because I trained hard and was one of the fittest guys out there. I didn't know why I was hungry so often when I ate so much. And sometimes even after meals fatigue would set in,
Eventually I learned I had Hypoglycemia. Being a professional sportsman this was obviously a problem and one I had to overcome. Not only did I need to function in normal life but I needed to be able to perform at the highest level of professional sport.
Through much research, pain and suffering I learnt how to manage Hypoglycemia. I was British Motocross Champion 4 times, represented Britain in The Motocross des Nations and achieved a career high 8th place overall in the world championship. I don't think I could have done this if I hadn't learnt how to manage Hypoglycemia.
So while short my book should help give you the tools to manage yours. Life really is too short to let Hypoglycemia hold you back.
