No Rival Book 2

Brothers Rhys and Knox have been in love with the same woman for years. While Rhys has been open about his feelings toward Mandy, he’s kept her firmly locked in the friend zone. That is, until a night filled with too much alcohol explodes into passion.

Unfortunately, Rhys doesn’t remember anything of their hot night together. It’s only when he encounters a passionate scene between two of his fight-buddies that Rhys recalls his night with Mandy and vows to make it up to her.

Mandy is tired of the drama. As secrets unravel her friendship with Rhys, Knox steps in to pick up the broken pieces of her heart. Mandy must decide who to choose—the charming reprobate she desires, but who always wrecks her life, or the merciless bad boy who wants to give her the world.

Ryan cleared his throat. "Whoa," he muttered under his breath. "He's going to do such naughty things to you and I want details," he sang.

description

The pace was pretty fast but that's okay with me as I didn't want a draggy story. You would think this is a cliche romance but things turned out completely different than what I had expected. There were a good amount of twists and turns to the story, making it interesting to read.

We also have a good amount of Alpha males and the steam was really good as well. Knox was all dark and broody, and I like that Mandy was the one that literally brought him to life and made him smile. It doesn't hurt that Knox is an alpha male, a dirty talker and have pierced nips while Mandy is one strong lady who is able to stand up for herself. Knox and Mandy are super adorable together and you can see that they are right for each other!

"Make me," she taunted, recklessly. A menacing chuckle fell from his lips as he lowered his head to the column of her throat. Chill bumps rose where his breath fanned across her neck when he spoke.

"You shouldn't provoke someone like me. I'm no one's gentle lover."

description

I was a little confused when I saw the M/M tag but then realised it was between 2 side characters in the book. I would love to see their story! They are adorable together! Most of the characters are likable and they had their own unique personalities. We get to see a fair amount of development in them as well. I like some of the lessons that were "taught" in this book as well :D

"Just tell us what you need and we're your men."

Ryan's teasing, upbeat personality kept her smiling and she immediately felt at ease. "Get naked and act natural," she said, somehow managing to keep a straight face.

Max groaned. "Great. Now there's two of them. Don't give him permission, Mandy. We'll never get his clothes back on."

I really enjoyed the writing style and the book. Definitely high recommended to those looking for something quick and hot yet not lacking in development, romance, humour and action.

"He is completely incapable of charming his way into anyone's life. He's socially inept. All he's ever done is exist. Then one day, he introduced me to this beautifully broken woman, and for the first ever, I witnessed a miracle. I saw him thrive. It was immediately apparent she didn't see the merciless man the rest of the world does when they look at Knox, and the way he watches her...It's almost enough to restore someone's faith. Not mine, of course, but truly what they have is a rare light in an otherwise ugly world."

Super quick audio and available on the romance package. You're welcome!

Undaunted is about three brothers. Three super lost and completely broken brothers. All thanks to their oh-so-wonderful father - I mean, he's basically father of the year in my eyes. Everyone has demons at some point in their lives that they have to suck it up and face.. however, these guys just seemed to have a shit ton of them. It sucked for them.. but I enjoyed listening to it all.

The three brothers in question are Rhys, Knox and Dane. Out of all them, I feel like I resemble Knox the most. Mostly because I give zero fucks about everything in my life. Like I'm the Oprah of giving out zero fucks - everyone eventually gets one from me. It's amazing - I guess?

Each of these guys is obviously hot and dangerous.. but we don't seem to know a lot about them. Especially with freaking Dane - he's just a mystery to me. I know his name but that's pretty much it. Other than all of that, this book was interesting enough because I finished it BUT I don't see myself going out of my way to listen to the rest of the series or even the first book. If I happen to scroll past in on my audible then I might grab it for a ride.. but other than that - thank u, next.

Overall, I liked them but I didn't have a favorite. Just one that reminded me of me.

Review originally posted at Ramblings From This Chick

Undaunted is the second book in Charity Parkerson's erotic No Rival series. This book was super hot and can be read as a standalone. This one is just under 100 pages, and is a great quick and steamy read when you are short on time. I haven't read the first book in this series, but if it's anything like this one I will definitely be reading it as well.

Rhys and Knox are brothers who have always loved the same woman. While Rhys has always been close to Mandy and has never been shy about his feelings, Knox has sat back and maintains his distance from her. He admires her from afar, but when his brother continues to do things to destroy his relationship with Mandy, Knox knows it's finally his chance. With secrets and feelings between them all, can they possibly all make it out without being heartbroken? How will Mandy possibly make the choice between the sexy fighters who are both a part of her heart?

I liked both Rhys and Knox. I thought that they were both sexy and both of them had genuine feelings for Mandy. Rhys might have had the closer friendship with Mandy, but he also kept her at a distance. For all his feelings he didn't do a lot to show her that he wanted more with her or that they had a chance at more. I kept waiting for him to stop screwing around and finally lay it all out for her. Knox kept his distance from the start and hardly ever really talked to her. He would go to where she worked and would sit in another waitress's section while keeping an eye on her. He knew her schedule and would pay close attention to her actions. You could tell that he had always wanted her though even with him keeping her at arms length. He really started to open up to her after she had been hurt by Rhys though, and he even tried to warn her away from him several times. He thought he wasn't good enough for her and that she deserved something better. Mandy was an easy heroine to like, but I fell like we didn't get to know her super well in this story. We got to see that she had been through a lot and had struggled with watching Rhys parade women around in front of her. She also was dealing with the pain of a horrible loss and circumstances that had changed her life because of that loss. I thought that she had chemistry with both men and there were real feelings between them all. But to me this wasn't as big of a love triangle as I had originally expected.

I felt like I was on one team from the beginning of the book, and I kept thinking that I knew what would happen. I can honestly say that I didn't know though, and things ended up happening completely differently. I liked the way the story went though, and it was good to see that Mandy ended up with who she was supposed to. She might not have ended up with who I thought she was going to, but it was the choice that was right for her. I liked the characters, flaws and all and it was great to see them all start to figure things out. I liked watching Mandy make her choice and see the beginning of her future. I am so glad that she got her HEA, and I really enjoyed every steamy bit of it. I would definitely recommend this one if you are looking for something super hot and quick. I will definitely look for more from Charity Parkerson in the future.

Rhys and Knox are brothers who had a tough childhood. Then there's Mandy, who is struggling to go through school, pay her bills, life... grown up stuff. Rhys and Mandy have a history where he can never tell her how he feels... he's there but he's not really there. When Rhys and Knox's other brother shows up to destroy her home, Knox steps up and realizes she's what he needs. Quick read and entertaining read.

Book one in the No Rival series got me hooked on this series and book two certainly doesn’t disappoint.
Two brothers and one woman. He thinks she belong to him, but the truth is a completely different story. They are all broken in their own way and yet love finds its way despite enormous and heartbreaking obstacles. Not only was the story heartbreaking, it was also HOT. Seriously, I had to wipe the steam of my e-reader.

This series is freaking awesome, it is a must read.

"This isn't a one-time thing. I don't share. Do you understand me?"

"Tell me you belong to me," he demanded. "I need to know you're mine." The desperation in his gaze left her breathless - Knox Collier

I should start by saying I think when a guy says "tell me you belong to me", it's about the hottest thing they can ever say. And when Knox Collier growls those words to Mandy Everett I about lost it right then and there. If you like alpha males and MMA fighters Undaunted is a perfect read for you.

I will tell you, I was completely surprised how my feelings changed while reading this book. I read the blurb and thought I would be all about Knox's youngest brother Rhys. Little did I know that by the end of Undaunted, I was completely in love with Knox. He is an absolute contender for one of my Best Book Boyfriends of 2014.

His physical description made my heart skip a beat. Shaggy dark hair, green eyes, topped off by a phenomenal body. Here's one more thing, Knox has a very dark side. Actually, it's not just a dark side, it's him totally. In the beginning of the book he's almost scary dark. And that just made him even hotter to me. He's got that whole mysterious thing going on for him and that is a major turn on. Knox has been in love with Mandy for as long as she's been around. The thing is there's always been an unspoken understanding in their fighting community that Mandy belonged to Rhys.

Of course Rhys is hot as hell. He's also a fighter like his big brother and like his father before him. As much as Rhys declares his love for Mandy, he never proves it. Rhys is the ultimate man whore. He loves women and women love him. The thing about Rhys is he doesn't hide it. He brings dates to the restaurant Mandy works at and sits in her section. Mandy puts up with his nonsense for a really long time. Then one day Knox and Rhys' middle brother Dane, goes on a crazy drug binge and wrecks Mandy's house. This makes Mandy open her eyes and opens the door for Knox.

The Collier brothers have led a very screwed up life. Their mother left them when they were very young and their father who was also a big time fighter committed suicide. Each of the boys are broken in their own way. They all have different ways of dealing with their pain. Knox seems to be the darkest, almost seeming like he doesn't care whether he lives or dies.

Mandy is the light in the Collier brother's darkness. While she's broken herself, she's a rock for these boys.

Everyone including Knox think he's bad for Mandy. But, Mandy sees something in Knox that no one else sees. Knox has always been around. He doesn't think Mandy noticed, but she did. He always manages to end up around Mandy and after the disaster of Dane, Knox and Mandy become closer. Seriously, when Knox told Mandy it's always been her, I swooned. When their relationship becomes physical it's like bam!! Knox is blazing hot in bed and in the closet at the gym he works out at. I promise, you'll go back to those scenes over again (hell I know I did).

So what happens when Rhys finds out about Knox and Mandy? Now you know I'm not going to tell you. But what I will tell you is you absolutely have to read Undaunted for yourself. Just leave Knox alone.....he's mine. I have to give Undaunted a five lip smack review because it was just that good.

** SHANYN'S 4 STAR REVIEW **

“Undaunted” is book two in the No Rival series. It can be read as a stand alone, and that is how I read it. But……I will most definitely be picking up the first book now! I LOVED this book, and I need more! The Alpha males in this book were AMAZING, and sexy as hell. I need more of these men now!!

Rhys and Knox are brothers, and fighters. They both love Mandy, but Rhys is the one who has gotten close to Mandy. Knox keeps his distance. Mandy believes that Rhys is the man for her, and is willing to wait around, just being his friend, while he hooks up with every other woman around.

“She craved him. It had always been Rhys and no one else. He was going to destroy her, and she was going to let him.”

“The possibility they might not end up together had never really occurred to him. It was only a matter of time before he figured out how to convince her to keep him.”

When Mandy has finally had enough of being there for Rhys, without anything in return, she lets him know and plans to move on with her life.

“I’m fed up with always being there for you while I’m obviously so easily forgotten.”

Knox takes that opportunity to swoop in and show Mandy that he is the better brother for her. But, he struggles with the fact that he isn’t good enough for her (in his eyes), and the fact that Rhys has staked his claim on Mandy.

“I don’t even want to know me, and I sure as hell don’t trust myself.” “I’ll trust you until you give me a reason not to.”

“He took great care to avoid most people, except her. Her gaze was addictive and it belonged to his brother. It was a fact he reminded himself of daily.”

The men in this book are pure alpha male, and had me wanting to head down to the local gym, just to find myself some! I loved their “don’t give a shit” attitudes, their bossiness, possessiveness, and pure masculine attitudes.

“I told you not to buy me anything.” “Yeah, about that, I don’t give a fuck,” he said as he set the bag filled with picture frames on her kitchen table.

“You shouldn’t provoke someone like me. I’m no one’s gentle lover.”

How do you choose between brothers? Do you choose or walk away? And once you choose, can you live with the repercussions?

“No. You will keep your eyes open for this. I refuse to have you think of anyone except for me.”

“This isn’t a one-time thing. I don’t share. Do you understand me?”

Can Mandy handle Knox, even though he’s broken? He doesn’t show anyone his true self, and keeps everything inside. Can she be the woman to help him?

“You don’t get to shut me out. I don’t give a shit which face you show the rest of the world. Everything inside you is mine.”

I was so engrossed in this book, and could NOT put it down! I found myself running back to my kindle every chance I got. This book would have definitely gotten a higher rating from me, if it would have been longer, I did find it short. But, you will not regret reading it!

“It took a moment to absorb the truth, she accepted him as he was. There wouldn’t be any lectures over his lifestyle. He would never have any need to hide anything from her.”

Mandy has been in love with Rhys for as long as she can remember, but their relationship is that of friends, rather than lovers, and he is slowly destroying her life as he breaks her heart.

Rhys knows that he loves Mandy, and is biding his time until the moment is right to make her his own. Content with this knowledge, he thrives on their friendship, and continues to live his life. Focused on his boxing career, complicated family dynamics, and the occasional hook up, Rhys doesn't realise that time is passing him by, until one night changes everything he thought he knew.

Knox has loved Mandy from afar for years, but she has always belonged to his brother, Rhys, and he respects that. Afraid that the emotional damage he sustained in his childhood makes him a dangerous man to love, he has never pursued the one woman who makes him feel alive. All that changes, however, when Rhys shatters Mandy's heart once again and he can no longer keep his distance.

Second in the No Rival series, Undaunted is a complete novella length story that can be read as stand alone, but the experience is enhanced if the series is read in order. The complexities of the relationship that exists between Rhys, Knox, and Mandy has the potential for intense emotional drama. Because of this, I was surprised by how easy it was for me to settle into the storyline, and was a little disappointed with the untapped opportunities for development I saw within the brother's relationship.

Mandy's character is the heart and soul of this story; she is strong, spirited and sexy. Her passionate nature makes this story pop! I was also pleased to see characters from Unsurpassed were included, and loved the scenes that followed up on the storyline from book one.

Undaunted is well written and edited, with passionate sexual encounters, emotional characters, and a fast paced and engaging writing style. I would recommend this series to fans of alpha/fighter themed erotic romances who are looking for a story with adventure and drama, but don't want to be overwhelmed by angst. I'm looking forward to reading Unequaled, the third book in this series, soon!

Somehow I got my reading order mixed up and read Unequaled (book 3) before reading this, so I went in knowing which brother Mandy winds up with. Did this knowledge reduce my enjoyment of Undaunted at all? That would be an unequivocal NO! This was a great story and knowing who gets the girl didn’t make it any less enjoyable, or any less heartbreaking.

Mandy has been in love with Rhys for years. While Rhys loves Mandy, he’s never felt like he was good enough for her and they’ve kept each other firmly in the friend-zone deciding that having the other as a friend was better than not having him or her in their life at all. Unfortunately for Mandy, this means she has to witness the parade of women that Rhys indulges in and as an MMA fighter, there are a LOT of them. Her torture is worsened when, in a moment of grief coupled with alcohol, Rhys reveals his love and claims her physically but fails to remember it the next day. After Rhys’s brother Dane manhandles Mandy in a drug-induced state while looking for Rhys, she realizes that she has to let Rhys go – she can no longer deal with the destruction and heartbreak his presence in her life brings with it. This opens the door for Knox to step up and be the friend and stabilizing presence in her life that Mandy so desperately needs. Because they all feel that Mandy is Rhys’s girl, Knox fights his feelings for her until she makes it known that HE is what she wants. Let me just say that Ms. Parkerson certainly knows how to write sex scenes – whether it be M/F, M/M, or M/F/M, she writes extremely stimulating sex scenes.

There are definitely some twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting that made the story that much more intense. Even knowing some of the events that would play out after having read Unequaled before this took me by surprise. As I have read all three books in the series and read them out of order, I can confirm that you can indeed read them as stand-alone books and you can read them out of order without any problems. However, I do recommend reading them in order as it makes for a richer reading experience. I am looking forward to more books in the series and hope that Dane and Kerry get their own book soon (hint, hint).

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

WOW Ms. Parkerson…..I really enjoy the way you bring a story together. It’s no holds barred, in your face, not what you expect or really think you want…..but it works out so well? I don’t know how you do it.

I don’t know if it’s the writing “style” but it seems different. I read the first book in this series and was a tiny bit - put-off - for lack of a better word. Things don’t happen like you expect them to and just when you think you have it figured out….things change. Oh and for no apparent reason. Then all of a sudden it’s the end and everything has worked itself out. It’s a book roller coaster with a blindfold on.

In “Undaunted” we start out in Rhys’ life and the fact that Mandy is in love with him. But then Knox, Rhys’ big brother, gets in the picture and you don’t know which way things are going to go.

Mandy is the light. She's friendly to everyone and is friends with lots of people. She smiles even though she’s struggling with being a waitress and going to school and having enough money to pursue a career in her passion, photography. She has been in love with Rhys forever it seems and he doesn’t have a clue. She also holds a big secret from him. Will she ever confront him? What happens when her secret gets out?

If Mandy is light then Knox is darkness. He is intense and brooding. He’s an underground MMA fighter, fighting in fights that are pretty much win or die. Thank goodness he wins most of the time. Did I say he’s intense? There’s really no other word for him!

I love how Mandy is able to see the light in all the darkness of Knox and can see past his flaws and brooding personality. When she does this it only brings out the best in him. But what about Rhys? Will he finally see Mandy for the treasure she is? Will he be too late?

Such a great series!!! Can’t wait to start #3!!! I definitely recommend reading!!!! You won’t be sorry!

I've totally become completely in love with this series.  These are novella length books and they are so good, that I wish they were longer because, I always want more of the featured couple.  Course in this book the couple from the first book was in this one and I liked catching up with them. More than anything, I'm happy that there are 4 books to this series (that I know of) and that I have 2 more to read!! (Maybe more?  Will Dane get a book?)

Once again, Ms. Parkerson has written a character in a way that totally sneaks up on me and makes me love him!  Because it isn't mentioned in the blurb, I'm going to go into SUPA DUPA spoiler mode and talk about the spoilery bits, so if you haven't read it or don't want to know who she ends up with- do not click!

In conclusion:  I enjoyed this one as much as the first one, I'm happy that Mandy (cool name ;) ) ended up with... who she ended up with AND I want Dane to get a book.

In Undaunted, we meet Mandy and brothers Rhys and Knox. Both fighters and Mandy growing up in the world where Fight Club mentality is a way of life. She's grown up around the brothers and has been best friends with Rhys since they were young. Now in adulthood they each fight off the feelings they have and we read the struggle they go through.

Mandy was a great heroine. Tough without being too tough and still coming across as the girl next door. She knows how to hold her own but maintains her femininity. Struggling with school and waitressing job her friendship with Rhys becomes strained as her frustration with him grows. Being the typical man, Rhys is clueless of her feelings for him. Due to one moment of drunken heartache changes everything and causes a rift between the two. As Mandy works to get back on her feet, Rhy's quiet and ever brooding older, Knox begins to hang out with Mandy our of concern. From there the story builds and Mandy has to choose.

I have to say I had a thing for Knox from the beginning. The quiet brooding alpha is my all time favorite. Rhys was a specimen of his own but I veer more towards the dangerous. Knox truly was an alpha male. From the instant he began hanging around Mandy, his constant urge to protect and care for Mandy overpowered his usual "don't care" attitude. Once they got "closer" the story only got steamier. The scenes between these two were HOT.

I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Ooh what joy a woman could experience having two deliciously sexy men in her life! Unfortunately for Mandy Everette, having the likes of Knox and Rhys Collier, MMA hotties so close, was more heartache and questions than joy. Mandy and Rhys special connection began while they were still teens, but there was always something or someone (mostly Rhys other women) keeping them from committing to one another. Now, Mandy's receiving attention from Rhys elusive older brother Knox, unleashing an unknown desire for him and confusing her already fragile heart. In the end, one brother's intense passion for Mandy drives him to prove his dedication, giving her the love she deserves.

This is a great short story, highlighted with some really Hot coupling and one ooh my sex scene. Wow!!! I'm sure you will enjoy Charity Parkerson's descriptive writing, as she draws you into this erotic love story, unfolding within the MMA fighting world.

I have one issue, there were two other love stories tied onto the main story and in the beginning it felt like I was experiencing sensory overload. Gratefully, from the middle until the last word written, the focus was solely on the main story and it was intoxicating. With all that said, I am awed by the literary expertise of this amazing author, she is able to pack a mountainous punch using a miniscule package!

Undaunted
By Charity Parkerson

I really enjoyed this book. Although short, it really packed a punch! With this book being #2 in the series, it was nice to reconnect with some past characters. The new characters have so much life, and are very intriguing.

"Without thought, Knox pulled his shirt over his head, baring his torso. A blush touched her cheeks. He dared her to show him any weakness. Satisfaction roared through him when he room up his challenge, dropping her gaze to his chest. His nostrils flared as a sudden realization punched him in the gut. He wasn't going to stop until he had her. "

Of course, the sex was HOT!!! Very HOT!!! This was not your typical romance...the way the story played out was different than what I had thought!

'"I told you not to trust me," he reminded her in his most mocking tone. Need crawled at his spine. The nights he'd lain awake, fantasizing about touching her, caused his grip to tighten possessively at her waist. "Make me," she taunted recklessly.'

Reading Charity's work for the first time, I'm addicted! I love the MMA world and hot, sexually charged romances, and Charity combined them perfectly!

One of the things that Charity Parkerson excels at, and that I just love, is taking a storyline somewhere you had no idea it could, or should, go. You just never know just what is going to happen, but it's an awesome, though sometimes scary, ride getting there. This is a story of two brothers and the woman that's meant to be with only one of them. Which will it be? You'll have to read to find out. Undaunted shows you that sometimes only someone who is broken can fit with your own jagged pieces and make you whole.

I originally purchased this book when it was with a different publisher and I purchased the re-released version. Every time I read it I find something new and fall in love with these characters all over again. You could read this book as a stand alone, but you'll get more enjoyment out of it if you read the 1st in the series, Unsurpassed, first.

Some of my favorite lines:
**"For all of Drew's silence, he's a motor mouth at home."**
**"Love is an addiction you'll do anything to feed."**
**There was no low he wouldn't stoop to in order to have her...**
**"I'm no one's gentle lover."**
**"I watch you. When you're not looking. You don't notice me, but I'm there."**

“Love is an addiction you’ll do anything to feed.”

Just gonna put this out there…Knox is claimed! He’s on my book boyfriend list, so back off! Ok…now let’s get down to the review!

Mandy has been crushing on her longtime friend, Rhys. And after a drunken night of passion, she finally gets what she’s always wanted, or at least what she thought she did. Words, once spoken can be forgiven, but not forgotten. Rhys has no memory of their night together…or the consequences of his actions.

Knox is Rhys’ older brother and he’s kept watch and loved Mandy from afar. But after witnessing how his brother is treating her, he steps in and shows Mandy how this hard, broken man can love her without holding back…without regrets…without breaking her heart. “I need you, Mandy…I really don’t think I can stand another minute without you.”

Buy this book! You can trust me on this…and you can thank me after you read Knox being all naughty! You won’t be able to put this story down! Not even to take a nap…after all, as Knox says “Naps are for pussies.”

Highly recommend Undaunted by Charity Parkerson!

4 stars

Rhys and Mandy have been teetering on the edge of friendship for years. If you ask either they will both admit that there is not just a spark there but an unchecked flame. The problem is Rhys. Will Rhys give up his man whore ways for Mandy and if he does will she still be waiting for him? Rhys thinks he has ample time to lay claim on Mandy but little does he know about the man who's been waiting for Mandy for years.

I really enjoyed this book and the complexity of Knox, Dane & Rhys. I felt at times the novel was speeding by without much meat to the story, and therefore was only able to give 4 stars. This is definitely a main stream romance that anyone who loves the Alpha Male would enjoy! This book was exciting to read with all the different turns and twists and high recommend this to any reader who like a little romance with a lot of muscle!

You never know what you have till it's to late
Undaunted #2 ( no rival) By Charity Parkerson
I read the first book and loved it, now I'm back with Drew, Aubrey and the gang. I like how the author left no doubt this is a series. I love the characters, big, gorgeous men with attitude but at the same time they can be the sweetest of men, fighters and lovers. When they love, they love with everything in them. I wouldn't deny not one of them, LOL. Mandy is torn because she thinks she's in love with Rhys her friend growing up. Rhys doesn't show her he loves her though, not in the way a man should love a woman. The night Rhys dad commits suicide he's goes nuts, Mandy is there for him in all ways. She hopes this night changes things for them. Rhys has brothers that look after Mandy to, without her or Rhys knowledge Knox hides in the background. Read this series to find out who gets who and why. Charity never disappoints!

This is my first time reading anything from this author and I must say, I loved it! It was wonderfully written, fun, entertaining, addictive and sexy all rolled into one hot package! A great read for any fans of the genre, whether you're into sexy fighters of not ;)

Mandy has a secret she's been hiding from Rhys for a bit of time. Well a couple of secrets... Thing is, nothing can be done about either of them and she's not going to tell him. She does, however, tell his brother Knox about most of what's going on in her life, pros and cons. Her speaking with him at all the way she is does something to him and her. Something neither of them is prepared for...

A quick read that leaves the reader looking for more in the very best of ways. I plan on looking through what else Charity Parkerson has to offer. I believe she's just gained herself a new fan ;)

A 4.5 rating rounded to a solid 5!

Ultra-alpha MMA fighters. Yes, more than one.

I have to say this book surprised me in more ways than one. Before I start swooning, let me get the actual review part out of the way. The plot and story were brilliantly written, leaving me intrigued, invested and enraptured. I couldn't decide if I wanted to keep reading or if I wanted to go back and re-read some scenes. All the characters are complex and well written. It is well paced and so much fun to read!! Definitely never a dull moment.

The steamy hot scenes in this book isn't for the faint of heart or if you dislike m/m encounters.

Now.... Knox. Hot damn. And Rhys. WOW.

These book boyfriends will definitely leave you a panting mess while reading. I may or may not have licked the screen.

I really didnt think the series could get any better then the first book but I was wrong. This story line was so much better then the first one. I loved every minute of this one. I mean seriously who can go wrong with the characters from book 1 making an appearance and then meeting new ones with deep dark secrets of there own. This one follows 3 brothers and one very stubborn female lead. What I loved about this one is you really dont expect to have it turn out the way it does. This is such a sweet storyline you cant help but fall in love with the characters along the way. You will feel every emotion like it is your own. And it doesnt hurt that you feel like the ending is leading to the next story .

It's a short and fast read. I liked the story a lot. I think the only problem I had is at times i would get lost and not know what character I was reading about. Other than that I think the story was good and way everything happens between them is perfect.

You have 3 brothers who are all broken do to their father. Each of them has their own demons to fight. Rhys is sexy and can get any girl he wants but doesn't let a girl get too close. Knox seems to love just to live not caring for much at all. Dane well we don't know too much of him but he has demons too and he had addiction problems. With all that they are hot and sexy tho.

Totally worth the read and the time to read this short book.

However I didn't read book 1 but I don't feel like I'm missing much of anything with the story. It had a great ending which I'm hoping for book 3 to land in my lap in the future. I must find out what happens with Rhys? I also have a feeling that Kerry will be showing up again in the near future; a girl could hope that they end up together but I get a hint that Dane will also make a more better appearance. This story had total hotties everywhere, basically every page I turned their was another hottie waiting to be read about.

Undaunted is Charity Parkerson’s sexy, new romance from her No Rival Series. Brother’s Rhys and Knox have it bad for the same woman. Knox knows Mandy is Rhys’ but his brother is bad at keeping her safe and treating her as she should be treated. When Rhys fails to protect her from their brother Dane, Knox steps in to take over… take Mandy, over and over.

Wow, this one was a surprise! I was expecting a hot love triangle, but I was blown away by the characters.

There is no love triangle here, because love it's so much more as one of the brothers teach the heroine (I won't ruin the book telling which one). I felt in love with the h/H and loved the secondary characters as well. Plus... Wow! Hot!

Another of the fast paced novellas in this serie

This is another of the M/F books in this series which I'm now realising I've actually read already but didn't review for some reason.

Knox and Mandy are a good pairing, they're both holding back parts of themselves because of life experiences but find their outlet in the other.

I enjoyed this book just when you think the books going one way it does a 180 and flips and goes a completely opposite way which keeps you on your toes and the new faces that he introduced into the box keeps nice and fresh
