Rate this book
Have a snooping sister? A barging-in brother? Five-fingered friends who can't keep their hands off your new Game Boy or their eyes off your diary? Then here's the book for you-a colorful, wise guy guide with all the lowdown on how to protect your special stuff from meddlers and nosy

· Turn any place into a secret hideout
· Make innocent-looking trick gadgets and trapdoors
· Develop codes and maps with friends
· and pass top-secret messages like a pro

Follow the Twelve Laws of Hiding Stuff; try tricks like putting in a "Floor Board of Education" in your school locker to cover up valuables; and get some "shelf awareness"--stick something behind books on the case as a decoy. Hoard your treasured items where curious critters won't ever find it, and be aware of locations you must avoid. And just so that no one can figure out your "hidden" logic, the book itself has a unique "spine concealer" that makes it look like a CD--so it can go "undercover" right with all your music!

This little book impacted my life in a huge way when I was about 12 years old. I made up unnecessary "secrets" just to be able to hide them around my room using the methods described in this little handy dandy guidebook.

My favorite of all Mark Shulman's books. I cannot wait to get my hands on the updated edition.
