THE NEXT LOGICAL STEP: Learning how to accept change, and move forward

Rate this book
- This book will provide practical advice that you can use in the real world. It was designed to modify your way of thinking, point out the hidden rules in life, that were put in place to restrict you from achieving success. - Suggestions to make you aware of the influence that these hidden rules will have indirectly on you. When you are able to view life through a different lens, it will allow you to modify your behavior, personal life choices, career path, and allow you to take control of your future. - When we do not have control of our future, we often feel clueless or stuck. We are told from birth to simply go to school, to acquire a good job, but there isn't much guidance provided after that. We are expected to figure things out on our own. We are only given a little push, and then we are expected to do things our way. However sometimes 'our way' is not the 'best way'. It is really hard to change our behavior habits as we get older, but we can tweak a few things to maximize positive results. This book was written with that in mind, and will hopefully give you a helpful boost to move forward.

A three star, in my opinion, because the Author raises some good viewpoints on the way we structure our lives.
With that said it avoids going to far into detail on these subjects, and from time to time repeats topics already stated.

A good read as an introduction to the topic of self-awareness and open mindedness, but definitely not a difficult read for anyone with knowledge on the subject.

My favorite section was the portion on Holidays. Events we all seem to reap so much enjoyment from, but at the root of it they are nothing more than another opportunity for us to spend our hard earned money.

Thirty-Something Advice

Ignorance is the only thing in life that will keep you down, and it is essentially something that you will need to constantly tackle. You will need to start discovering stuff out for yourself, ask questions that you haven’t asked before.

This sums up this book aimed at those entering their thirties. The author encouraged you to think for yourself rather than be swayed by the media. Take charge of your life and live it on your terms.

Terrible read, the author runs on and on never making a point.
I do not recommend this book to anyone.
