Chandra was fresh out of high school, when she met Malik. Despite their twenty year age difference, she quickly fell for the older, charismatic gentleman, who swept her off her feet with money, lavish trips and promises for the future.
After dating for only a few months, he proposed. Against her parent’s wishes, Chandra accepted, believing that her Prince Charming could do no wrong. Directly after their honeymoon, Malik changed, and not for the better. He became more aggressive, controlling and abusive…nothing like he was before. Taking everything in stride, Chandra did everything she could to make their marriage work, but nothing seemed good enough. He continued to abuse her, sometimes to the point where she was fearful for her life.
Will Chandra wise up and leave her violent husband, or will she become another fatality in the world of domestic violence?
This is a three part series, that has been combined together, to make one amazing story. Domestic violence is real, and in this story, you will have a front row seat into the mind of both of the victim, as well as the abuser. So, grab your tissues, because this will definitely be an emotional ride.
Cachet was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Reading has always been an outlet for her, and because of this, the library that she attended during her younger years would hold all of the new material especially for her. In 2010 Cachet officially joined the literary scene with her debut novel, You Knew Betta; which was published by Triple Crown Publications. Since then she's penned more than a dozen novels and short stories. With every story written, Cachet prides herself on keeping her stories entertaining, as well as realistic.
In 2013 Cachet graduated from the University of Phoenix with her degree in business. At the present time, she resides in Stockbridge, Georgia with her husband and four children. When she's not writing, Cachet enjoys reading, shopping, vacationing and spending time with the ones she loves.

One of my favorite series. I was so happy to see that this book had came out. Author Cachet …Thank you..Thank you…Thank you… After spending five years in prison, Malik Solomon is back with a vengeance. He’s dead set on retaliating against each and every person that he believes owes him. No one is safe. This is an excellent series. Malik has to be one of my most hated character in a book. Malki has given me a headache, evil thoughts, had me looking at my kindle crazy… Author Cachet you put your foot and everyone else’s foot in this book…Oh my gosh As much as I hate the character Malik I'm going to miss this series
HANDS DOWN THIS BOOK WAS SOOOOO DEEP.IF I COULD GIVE THIS BOOK 20 STARS I SURE WOULD!!!! DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BOOKS ALWAYS GET ME IN MY FEELINGS. MALIK BY FAR HAS GOT TO BE THE WORSE GUY OF THE DECADE!!!!!!!! HE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO LET GO. HE WAS REALLY SCREWED UP!!!. I OUGHT TO FIND HIS MOMA AND BEAT HER BUT. SHE WAS WRONG FOR INSTILLING THAT IN HIM. Omg!!!
There were too many unrealistic moments in this book ,to read in all 3 books how this one man was capable of outsmarting everyone including law enforcement got old and predictable..Overall the series was good.
This is a continuation of Chandra and Malik's story. This was a great story. Abuse is something a lot of people take for granted. This book was hard to read because of the typos/grammar.
Every Woman and Man should read this five star book her Domestic Violence is real!!!!! This book had me laughing, crying and wanting to beat Malik Ass. I felt so.sorry for Chandra the pain.and suffering that she endured at the hands of a Man that Claimed that he loved her.The loss of her child ,the dead of her Father. And to think that there are Women that are Suffering this Violence every day of their life is just really Sad. Ladies just like with Chandra all the signs were there.
I was a little disappointed with this one it felt at times the author kept repeated the old scene to introduce a new one ,and I felt at times it was annoying. Malik I couldn't wait for his ass to die and Chandra still at times made me want to slap her ,I just wanted her to get her Jennifer Lopez on and kill malik . Even though I didn't like this one I would definitely recommend this series .
Went to sleep at two cause this crazy man had me up... Smh. He did it to her just like her did it to me my retarding hinge...lol. Well guess what this read was with it malik got what he deserved although he did lots of damage going down that path. Truly impressed and enjoyed this writer to the fullest. 5 stars
Omg!!!! that book had my emotions flying all over the place. I literally had to put my kindle down and gain my composure back because Malik was real foul in this book!!! Im kind of sad to see the series come to an end but im sure Ms. Cachet will give us some more characters to love (and hate)!!!! Great job sweetie!!! 5 stars all day!!!!
This series has me on edge..yelling and talking to the kindle. Malik was one crazy mofo. I hate the things the ppl in Chandra life had to go thru by his hands. The ending was sad but good...Good series enjoy it from beginning to end!!!!
Dang Cachet I'm So Proud Of Chandra I'm Was Getting Real Upset With Malik Behind I'm So Glad He Got What He Deserved I Love Reading Your Writing Keep Up The Good Work Keep Writing And I'm Going To Keep On Supporting
Malik was back and crazier than before. Remeber the saying every dog has his day Chandra was tired of him and in the end who previaled. I won't give any spoilers you must read this series it a great one
This is a great series to read straight page turner. Malik is Cray Cray and he don't even know it. I'm glad it ended how it did Two thumbs up to the author Cachet
This right here had me in my feelings yes a good book but I had to put it down a few times pissed off at Malik and sometimes Chandra overall a good book club read!
While this book was somewhat believable about domestic abuse I was quite amazed at all of the poor grammar and spelling errors. If this book could get published perhaps I may try to write one.
