Sabrina Wagner writes sweet, sassy, sexy romance novels featuring tattooed men and the strong women who challenge them. After twenty-six years of being an elementary school teacher, she left the classroom and began writing fulltime. Now she spends her time crafting steamy stories about stubborn, alpha men and the sassy women who bring them to their knees.
Sabrina lives in Michigan with her true-life, alpha-hero husband. She has two twenty-something children and two adorable cats, Olive and Moo. Sabrina thrives off caffeine, enjoys spending time with her family, and loves basking in the sun. It’s rare to find her without a book in her hand or a story spinning through her head.
Sabrina believes true friends should be treasured, a woman’s strength is forged by the fire of affliction, and everyone deserves a happy ending. She enjoys spending time with her family, cuddling her kittens, walking on the beach, and of course, reading. Sabrina is a hopeless romantic and knows all too well that life is full of twists and turns, but the bumpy road is what leads to our true destination.
This book surprised me. It is truly a coming of age book about Kyla and Tyler. It was very well written and the author capture the heart of the two teenagers from their Senior year in high school to their junior year in college. The dialogue was age-appropriate. I think she portrayed the parents of both of these teenagers perfectly too.
It is 4-1/2 stars for me. I deducted one half of a star because of the cliffhanger. But, different than a lot of authors, this is a full sized book, not a novella. So you won't feel that you aren't getting your money's worth at all. And by the way, I should have known because it is a series and the H and h are featured in all of them. That's why only half. This is an author I've read before and have enjoyed everything she's written.
I definitely would recommend this book to read. My first thought as I read the book was, these kids are SO in love. And you will be in love with Kyla and Tyler too!
Kyla and Tyler meet in high school and fall hard for each other. Things go well until they go off to college, two different colleges and more than an hour apart. Tyler is a quarterback on the football team so he's pretty busy. But they make things work. Then Tyler gets drunk and makes a huge mistake. I knew beforehand after reading the blurb that this is not a standalone book and would probably end on a cliffhanger but I read it anyway to see how it was. I have to say I was intrigued by these two but after they started being intimate with each other that ended up being 90% of what this book was. Even so, I kept reading since I felt like I wanted to see what was going to happen.
This book ends abruptly and I kinda knew it was coming and I figure the next book will be all about them trying to work things out at some point but I don't think I can read anymore of these two since they just seem to act too childish for me to relate to them. But if you like first time love and coming of age type romance you might like this one more than I did.
Waited and waited for the book to develop in to a plot. Never happened. Lots of love and sex- explicit sex. Poorly written. Wasn't until the very end when something actually happened and it was predictable.
