It is two years later & Nicole & Drake are having a house warming party in their new home. All of the Blood Rider MC & their friends have been invited. Drake believes it is the best time to propose to Nicole while all his MC brothers & their friends are there. Nicole gladly agrees to marry Drake. It becomes clear that Jack's time is running out & it is time for Drake to take on the role of President of the MC. Nicole also finds herself spending more time at the clubhouse helping out with club's accounting. Things aren't looking very good financially for the club & it is time to find a new source of income. The Cobras MC is interested in partnering with the Blood Riders MC in a new high-scale brothel. Drake knows this will be a good opportunity for the club to make money but also knows that Nicole will not be happy about it. He decides that it is club business & that it shouldn't matter what the MC is getting into. So when Nicole comes to the clubhouse & finds a couple of the new 'working' girls hanging around she isn't exactly happy not to have been told about everything. Nicole & Drake end up having a major fight & she walks out. While Drake has been dealing with the financial concerns, he has also been receiving threats in the mail in regard to Nicole. He will not tolerate any harm coming to Nicole & is having a hard time figuring out who is behind the threats. They are both proud & stubborn & neither of them wants to be the one to admit they may have be wrong. Will Nicole & Drake be able to work out their differences? Will Drake determine who is behind the threats to Nicole? Will Nicole & Drake still be getting married?

I enjoyed the second book in the Blood Riders MC Series. The characters work well together & it is a believable story. I like Tia Lewis' writing style & enjoy her books. I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series. This book is meant for mature readers & deals with prostitution so you may want to keep that in mind.

I love it when a story flows so well into the second book. There is no feeling of separation between the first book Threat and this book.
The Blood Riders MC have more heart ache ahead, possible betrayals and some seriously panty melting sex!!
Bring on book 3!!!!!

I picked this up after reading book one. Free on KU. Although book one wasn't my fave I needed to find out where their relationship took them. It was just as blah as book one. Honestly both books probably could have been merged as one book. Again no real drama or angst. And the way things that happen or have happened are just forgiven is a snooze fest for me. Give me the drama. Throw something major in there that causes a reader to be on the edge. It isn't the worst but not the best. Now....do I dare try book three?

Biker and First Old Lady

I love reading from Tia Lewis amazing author. Reveal was what I been waiting for. I really enjoyed this book because it gave you a lot of depth about Nicole and Drake's relationship. I felt like the fight that they had wasn't stupid but should have been discuss so that they both had a better idea how they wanted their marriage to look. I just couldn't pur this book down and now I will read book three Creed.

2.5 Stars Ehhhhh again

Why oh why did I have to continue....lol but I felt I had to after the first book ended. I was NOT at all happy with some of the things so SPOILERS AHEAD:

I can't stand when the h has to do the groveling!!!!!! In this case, she did and it pissed me off so much. Drake was a total douche and HE was the one if he had any balls to have done the groveling and he didn't and he really disappointed me:(

This story shows how easily the smallest disagreement can be blown out of proportion. And how when you're pissed about one thing, everything about the other person becomes an issue.

Hate waiting

This book was good and will piss you off to. I swear if Ms. Lewis has him cheating with any whores in the next I will be done with this author.

This is the second part of Nicole and Drake's story, and this time they have everything against them, but at the end the greatest threat to their relationship is themselves and their stubbornness. They let their pride get in the way and almost destroy what they had, and they had everything against them. Again, there are a few things that just doesn't make sense in their story, (like the fact that for almost two years there were no issues between them, and suddenly all their problems explode at the same time), but this one is more credible than the previous one. It was good to see how their story finished, but most of the book I felt like a was reading about a couple of kids throwing a tantrum.

Since Nicole and Drake announced their engagement, her family started to put pressure on her to leave him, her aunt by going as far as trying to set her up with a neighbor, and Tommy, her father's friend, trying to find something to get Drake in jail. Jack is sick again and Drake is about to become the president, so he is trying to prove himself, but in doing that he starts pushing Nicole away. They have a fight when she finds out that he doesn't want children and refuses to even consider the possibility, despite the fact that Nicole wants a family. Soon after that she finds out that he made a deal with another MC to build a brothel, and she confronts him. She is worried about the police being on their case, and probably using the chance to arrest them, but Drake accuses her of being jealous of him being around whores, and says he doesn't need her help with the club's business and even hints that he doesn't need her for company.

After their fight, neither one of them wants to go talk to the other, and they spend weeks without seeing each other. In the meanwhile Drake receives threats for Nicole, but he still pushes her away. He eventually finds out that one of their recruits, who is Hawk's son, was making the threats, but he never intended to hurt Nicole, he just wanted to make Drake suffer for killing his father, but then accepted that Drake had acted more like a father to him than his real father and said he was sorry.

Eventually Nicole realizes that she wants Drake back, and goes to see him. Drake had already reached the same conclusion, but when he realized she was there to apologize, he acted like a jerk and refused to acknowledge he had been selfish and let her take all the blame, only once she had practically begged him to take her back, he told her he loved her and that he should have been more open with her. Later, after they talk to what happened with Hawk's son, she makes him realize he is capable of acting like a father, and he acknowledges he doesn't want to have kids because he is afraid he is not going to be a good father, and then accepts that maybe they could have a family. They finally get married, and all of Nicole's family is in fact happy for her, even if they spend weeks trying to make her leave Drake.

You must fight add long as you can for love

Drake and Nicole are back to give us more in this story. They are so ride or die for each other. It was fast paced and I still love the brothers and women of Blood Riders MC. There was a little suspense and sexual tension to wrap up this story. Drake and Nicole have a lot to fight for in this book and even more to work on. It's all about if they can work on it together. Good ending to drake and Nicole and perfect beginning to the next story.

Stubborn love

A great love story, though they are both very stubborn this book chronicles the love story between Drake and Nicole. They face obstacles and though their relationship is challenged, in the end they just might come out stronger. Great characters and it can get quite hot and steamy! Lots of twists and turns that are unexpected.

A second part to Blake & Nicole's story, though the first one had a HEA. You need to read the first one to understand some of the back story in this one. It moves pretty quickly, keeps you flipping pages. Not all loose ends are tied up in this book for the club, although they have a HEA. Downloading the next one now.

Sexy Prez!

After having their HEA, Nicole and Drake were ready to settle down and look for a brighter future, with the enemy gone, the police not on the picture anymore, and the club on Drake's hands everything was perfect or that's what they thought, family issues in the middle, a new enemy trying to kill every happiness on his way and the doubts about being with one person do the rest of their life, what would happen if you realise that the only thing in common you have with the other person is love, but when things get serious everything could be falling apart, maybe love is not enough
I loved this book, of course 5 stars and I can't wait to read more about this MC!

dear God I waste an hour and a half reading aka skimming this nonsense... I detested both MCs and most of the side characters. The plot was hilarious (i.e. ridiculous) and full of nonsensical phrases and cliches. smh

As I stated before this series is a page turner, you can't stop. I finished this one in a day also it's that fast paced and you have to know what's happening next

Drake and Nicole (Bree) are battling everyone around them from Nicole's Aunt Karen to her dad's former partner neither of them want them to be together. They can't believe that Nicole has actually fallen in love with someone like Drake and from the dirty MC, they try so much to break them apart. Tommy (dad's former partner) is still trying to pin the death of Nicole's dad on the club, he wants them destroyed. Her aunt Karen thinks she has lost it since the death of her father. This battle hurts Nicole but she stands strong with Drake and he club "family" beside her.

Drake is receiving death threats against Nicole (Bree) and he wants answers, his anger is only growing to show them that although he isn't President yet of the Blood Riders MC he isn't a one to mess with. He is determined to find out who is doing this and kill them, she is his life. A life that he never thought he wanted until her. Now she is everything to him. Hawk (rival MC) is determined to make them pay, he wants their blood especially Drake's. Following them everywhere or I should say following Nicole she has no idea and he finds an opportunity to get her. Drake decides this ends now. But how?
Nicole has been hiding the truth from everyone on who she is and finally it's all revealed. Does it tear them apart? Do they survive? Only time will tell and that is why you MUST read this series. As I stated it's a fast quick read. You will keep turning page after page. It's a HEA and there is no cheating either but there is violence but not as much as other MC's ... there is sex but again not as much. I still love this series and can't wait to finish it. A 5 star read for sure.

I couldn't wait to read more about Drake & Nicole. Everything is going great for them until threats are being made and Drake & Nicole have a major fight that could end everything. With the threats happening to Nicole which she knew nothing about, you think you know who might be behind it but the story goes another way. I like that it was predictable and I can't wait to read what's gonna happen with Tamara
