The Devil's Own #3

Razing Grace: Razing Grace Part 1

Rate this book
I was light, and I was pure. Until I wasn’t.
Millie
I’m Millie Hart, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve dedicated my life to my Catholic faith. It was a part of me every step of the way. So when I decided to join a nunnery, no one in my family was surprised. I’m not sure at what point my life changed or where it went extremely wrong. My nightmares are becoming realities as my world starts to slowly tremble under the ground I’m presently shackled to. I was taken. Everything I thought I knew was about to rain down on me in drops of lies, deceit, and undiluted evil.
Tripp/Raze
I’m more machine than man. I’m the alpha and the omega of The Army, and the leader of The 6 masked huntsmen. I live and bleed this life. The arms that raised me weren’t carrying love— they were carrying knives and AKs. I’m agent 000, the executioner, and the damn devil who walks in the flesh. No one can break through my hard shell— not even her.

Wow! Where do I even start with this one? As my friend Alicia said, this book was a hot mess.

I told myself I would read this one last book in 'The Devil's Own' series, since I was so curious about how things worked out for Millie at the end of book two. This author has a way of hooking me with an ending that leaves me wanting more...even after reading a book that is mediocre, at best. It is quite incredible really.

Not this time though. Despite the huge cliffhanger at the end of this book that left me with unanswered questions and a mild curiosity, I refused to get sucked back in again. I'm hanging it up!

If you've read 'Hellraiser', then you know that Melissa's sister, Millie, has been kidnapped by The Army. That is where this book picks up. Sweet Millie, the nun, is being held captive. She doesn't know why they want her, or to what end, but she adjusts to her captivity pretty quickly.

Tripp, aka Raze, aka Executioner, aka 000, is in charge of "breaking' her, along with five or six of his Army friends. Every day they show up wearing their assigned Halloween mask and torment Millie...with pleasure, of course! Yes, Millie has been abducted by assassin/gigilos who aim to please!

Tripp allows his friends, at multiple points in the story, to use and molest Millie. Yet, despite that, we're supposed to believe that he has some sort of protective, possessive claim on her. Say what? It just didn't ring true to me.

Top that off with the fact that he takes Millie to his house, only to have her cohabitate with his "two" girlfriends. Wow! That's romantic. What a stand-up guy! He actually flaunts his sex with his play thing in front of Millie's face at every opportunity. Can you say, true love?

Believe it or not, I could actually overlook some of that. I'm that disturbed individual that loves an asshole in my stories. As long as he grovels, I can forgive just about anything. In fact, the more horrible he is, the better! I love a hero that can rip my heart out and then has to spend some time atoning for his sins.

What I couldn't overlook were the plot holes the size of the Grand Canyon...or the obvious lack of basic research...or the ridiculous, over-the-top scenarios. For example, the setting is in the Las Vegas area. At one point, Millie is looking out the window at Tripp's yard. She describes the green grass and trees that don't require landscaping. It's been a few years since I went to Vegas, but grass and deciduous trees are not part of the natural topography. Just sayin'. Sandbox is more like it, dotted with mesquite bushes and cacti.

The lack of attention to detail was apparent throughout the book. Tripp and Millie's first sex scene was one of the worst. Her hands were handcuffed behind her back...you know, above her ass. Then, while cuffed, he stands her up, bends her over and tells her to grab her ankles. Even worse, the author acknowledges that her hands are cuffed and tries to somehow explain that "I didn't realize just how flexible I am until my fingers are wrapping around my ankles with ease". That I'd love to see! Did she dislocate both shoulders and swing them around over her head?

Perhaps the biggest plot hole is the fact that all of the events in the preceding book were completely ignored. It was as if Tripp and his buddies didn't beat Millie's sister nearly to death when they kidnapped Millie. Nope. It is like it never even happened.

In fact, when Tripp requests a meeting with The Devil's Own members, they are happy to oblige. No hard feelings. Not even a mention of the fact that he had put Hella's old lady into a coma. It was like they were all one big, happy, criminal family. I couldn't believe how absurd it was!

Like the earlier books in the series, this one ends in a manner that has made me wonder what is going to happen next. However, I refused to get sucked in again. I'm not spending any more money or time on this series.

Oh man did I enjoy this one more than I thought I would. I wasn't sure at the beginning. I felt a little like I should know who all these people are (this says it can be read as a standalone) but soon I was sucked in and turning the pages.

description

It had SO many things I usually dislike in a book, but strangely none of that bothered me in the least whilst reading this one. The writing was fabulous. The pace was fantastic. I liked Raze. I liked Millie. It had some interesting secondary characters as well. I bawled like a baby at the end.

Not much else to say. On to book two...

Holy Smokes!! I'd like to start this off by saying that I NEED BOOK 2 NOW!!!!

I've been following Amo Jones since her first book, Perilous Love. After reading that, I knew this author had some serious cojones. I knew that she would be an incredible addition to my favourite genre: dark/romantic suspense. This book, if no other, should launch her into stardom. She freaking nailed it with this series and has me clamoring for more. I love Beast, Hella and now Raze.

Now I expect that there will be critics, for a couple of reasons. One, there is a character in this book that bears a striking resemblance to one of my fave characters: Preppy. If you don't know who Preppy is, I feel real sorry for you. #BowTieTilIDie!! And two, Raze seems to be a common name for feral men *cough* Tillie Cole *cough*.

There's nothing wrong with taking the best from two spectacular authors and trying to make it your own. So, Amo Jones, just know that haters gonna hate. mkay? Just do one of these...

I'm not going to rehash the plot. Believe me when I say that the story is amazing. Read the blurb, if you must, and dive the feck in!!

Raze is incredibly hot. Like stupidly hot. So freaking hot!! I felt his fire dammit. And there were times he hurt my heart but I freaking loved him anyway. And I couldn't help but have love for Millie too. This former nun went through some scary stuff, enough for it to lead her away from her vocation, but she came out stronger for it. These two fit together somehow and may prove to be an indomitable force and I cannot wait to see what becomes of them in the next book.

There is some crossover, because this is a part of The Devil's Own series, so we get to see Beast, Meadow, Hella, Melissa, Jade, and Frost too. Honestly, I'm already giving away too much. Just read it. You'll see pretty quickly that it does remind you of something you've read before in parts, but it is no less entertaining.

I recommend this to dark and dirty lovers everywhere!

First things first I have to say that I loved the first two books of this series, I mean like REALLY LOVED them. I think Amo Jones did a fantastic job on those but this just went left of field.

 photo undecided_zpszwwqwymz.jpg

So I think this is going to be one of those books that you either love or hate. I am very sad to say it just did not do it for me. I was expecting something else entirely and what I got was way OTT and unrealistic, I have said it in the past the content does not matter but to me a read has to be somewhat realistic (my opinion).

 photo floatsyourgoat_zps1b4nlcob.jpg

The heroine was meant to be a nun that got kidnapped, only once in her captivity did she mention god or try to prey. Her inner dialogue and the fact she new every song being played everywhere did not make me think nun.
I did not find it very dark either, there were a few good twist but again were ruined by unrealistic choices in characters ..................... ahem

I think I was most upset by the lack of the MC in this one, when they finally showed up and we got beast, meadow and Melissa it was better and thats why it got three stars because I got to see BEAST!!

 photo beast_zpscvqknprq.jpg

As with all my reviews this is my personal opinion. I see heaps of 5 stars for this so others are loving it.

3 "messy undefined" stars

Ah, *deep sigh* i'm slightly disappointed :(

Not what I wanted.
Not what I expected.
Certainly not what I got in the end.

So, this story started as dark and very promising

Millie was kidnapped, trained (even though, in my opinion, in a mild-ish tortureous way) by 7 highy dangerous and deadly men of a fraction that performs extreme actions or whatevr it takes to seal the deal...and Tripp/Raze being the OOO agent, the one born and raised to be the executioner and the one in charge to "train and prepare" Millie for the sale to the highest bidder.
And Tripp/Raze turns out to be that one highest bidder who buys her hence he has his own agenda to bring the organization led by his father Kurr down, even if he's the one who is working for him under the mentioned fraction.

Up until now, the story seemed fantastic, then when Millie is brought to Raze's house to live there until Raze finishes the final crash down of Kurr's existence, she's there to, I didn't quite get what she was supposed to be there in his house, but it turns out that Raze had some sort of feelings for Millie but he wasn't aware of them...????

And then the soap opera takes place instead of the dark and dangerous!

Raze has a sort of a hostage/fuck action going on with one of the women living at his compound and then he wants to fuck Millie, but she doesn't feel anything but hate for what she's been through and she's torn within herself cause she actually liked all the "sexually induced actions" on her and she feels guilty and dirty...And then they get into each other but he still fucks that other woman, and then Millie fucks Raze's best friend...and then they all fuck in front of each other wanting the other one that they are not fucking at that exact moment...

and then she flips when after they agree to fuck only each other, Raze fucks her over...

and then she just walks out...and returns to the MC where her sister Melissa is living with Hella (the characters from book 2 in the series, the one I actually DNF-ed) ooops!

and after that I was like...

i've lost track of what the fuck is going on?

so, to tell you the truth, I have no idea what I have read...since I kinda lost interest after the confusion in the fuckfest...

I just know that it would have been way better if the storyline stayed "dark" in the "non-feeling" aspect cause it would have left a "depth" to the torment of the "uncertain" future connection between Raze and Millie, but this way, it was just meeeh, and Raze was just a bulked up caveman prick instead of a true "dark lord of the underground".

too bad, truly...I like ANGST, I like MESSED UP, I like FUCKED UP, but I also like/need SUBSTANCE beneath all the fuckery, and unfortunately I didn't find it with these character's.

I couldn't connect to this story or the characters. The dialogue was unrealistic and everything was over the top.

Even though this book can be read as a standalone, I don't recommend it. There are a lot of characters and events mentioned from the previous books that made me feel like I was missing something.

"I’ve sinned. I’m bad. I’ve let the darkness penetrate my existence and I’ve relished in it."

This story left me speechless ....

I don't really know what to say....

I don't think I've ever read something so twisted , crazy and at the same time everything I've ever wished for ...

I can't really believe what I just read...

The level of craziness and passion in this book is at its maximum

Millie's journey was really something else, I would never imagine something like that.

This book since the beginning can be really triggering , but at the same time I felt like the need to read this story .

It left a permanent mark in me ...

Millie has became the most strong , independent , and a bit to much crazy woman I've ever read about .

“Please. I was held captive in a damn cell with massive masked men who wanted to eat me alive for seven days and then sell me to the highest bidder. A girl with no emotion and nothing to lose can be a very dangerous weapon up against girls who care entirely too much about what shoes match what outfit.”

I envy so much her strength , how she was able to put on the most strongest mask , and becoming the woman she was always meant to be.

Sometimes you have to lose your pat in order to see things in prospective and she absolutely did it.

Her relationship with Raze was so passionate , filled with chemistry and angst .

And their way of showing feelings for each other was really unique...

The sex scenes were really on the next level (yes, even more hotter than the elite kings ;) )

And her relationship with Miles was everything , I lived for their moments .

Miles's character was so intriguing , I feel the need to know what's behind his mask .

I thing what he is hiding is even darker then Raze's soul

"Miles is a stone cold killer, and not just any killer, but he has perfected the art of killing. Miles can make killing a classy act. Strangest fucking guy you’d ever meet, but his heart is not cold."

code word for this book : NUGGETS (I think now I'm craving them so much)

That plot twists really played a number on me , I need the next book like right now

"battles aren’t won by surrendering. They’re won when the blood of your enemy is dripping from your damaged hands.”

So i gave it nothing less then 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hope you'll enjoy it like I absolutely did ;)

Razing Grace part 1 by Amo Jones
Is a dark disturbing twisted romance with many moments that should make you uncomfortable but seeming as the lead character is one hell of a sexy kingpin male everything is forgiven 😌
If you're looking for a different kind of romance then I definitely recommend you pick this one up and enjoy.💋

I decided to lower my rating because even though I get it, I'm pissed. That ending was not cool.

I still like Raze, although he's still the asshole I remember him to be, LOL.

Holy fuck, what did I just read?!

Dark, sinister, confusing, twisted, unexpected… yeah, these words do not do justice to this, my first read by this author. This is the third book in the series, but I didn’t know that going in, so it felt a bit like walking into a party that had started hours ago. However, this story was all Millie and Tripp so it certainly worked as a standalone. And what a story it was. I had no idea what I was getting into, no idea whatsoever.

“Defeat, because as much as I hate it, there is a part of me that likes it.”

And why would Millie feel like that? Well, it probably had to do with being torn from the life she knew and dropped into a new one that made absolutely no sense. Her life was now a living hell and the sheltered life she had been leading was no more. Why was this happening? What brought her to this place? To these people? How would she survive?

Tripp was her enemy and her only light in a world that was now shrouded in pain and isolation. And he was a scary son of a bitch. S-C-A-R-Y. In the things he did, in the things he said… and in the things he did not say.

“I more than liked it, and that’s far worse….”

And just as the darkness threatened to drown Millie, and myself, the story took an unexpected turn. The shroud lifted somewhat and the journey became a little less dark and even, if you can believe it, surprisingly light and funny in spots. Miles had everything to do with that.

This story took me on a jaw-dropping trip that I still have not recovered from. I think I don’t want to recover, actually. The sheer evil, the darkness, was complete yet when that curtain was raised just a bit, a little hope began to creep in. And then… the hammer fell once again. I wept at the indescribable ending, a cliffhanger no less, one that punched me in the heart with no warning at all.

This story surprised, and even shocked me. Given the number of books I read that is not easy to do. And, not surprisingly, I enjoyed every dark, sinister, minute of it! I am “running”, not walking, to find the other books in this series, one that has captured my attention in the best, the worst way. ~ Diane, 4.5 stars

***Mild Spoilers & A Lot of Bitching Ahead***

Confused ... Yup that is how I felt while reading this book. However in the book's defense, most of my confusion was self inflicted. I didn't realize (until it was too late) that this #3 of a series that I hadn't read. Oops.

I will say that confusion was NOT why I stopped reading. It was Millie.

Millie "Puddin Pet" Hart.

When she was in the dungeon, I felt her pain and was rooting for her. The minute she got out, it was like a switch was flipped. There was no transition into the "new Millie" ... just poof.

Millie's DUMBEST MOST ANNOYING SERIOUSLY I CAN'T STAND THIS CHICK quote the irked me the most (almost made me quit right there) was:

"I wouldn’t say I was blessed in the looks department, but my sister and other people, males and females, would tell me I was “hot”. My hair is naturally blonde and it falls down my back in natural soft waves. My eyes are a bright blue but the rims of my irises are almost black, making my eyes pop more. My face is blemish free and is a little on the pale side, but it’s all me. My cheeks also hold a natural blush and my eyelashes are dark, thick and long. My lips, on the other hand, are large and plump. I used to have a decent butt, but because of my recent diet, or lack of, it has disappeared along with my healthy boobs. I usually have petite curves with a pinched-in waist and hips that sprawl out—I’m usually all woman."

You literally just described Barbie but yet you wouldn't say you were "Blessed in the looks department"

But I forged on, for about 10 more pages, and then i literally just couldn't stomach her any longer.

Am I wondering what happened, eh kinda.

Do I care enough to keep reading?

Holy all that is dark and lustful!! This book was so nasty and wrong on so many levels (I mean come on...a nun who is broken down and made absolutely filthy for revenge) but I really loved it (when I wasn't biting my nails and holding my breath). When I read the teaser at the end of Hellraiser I was so excited and anxious for this book and it delivered in spades. For such a sweet young thing, Amo Jones can sure write some depraved and sick stuff...with a healthy dose of family drama mixed up with some of the most evil characters I have ever read. There is a reason for all the crazy though and we get most of the answers we were looking for and it blew my mind.
Read if you dare and just go for the twisted and at times, horrific ride from hell to somewhere satisfying...it was a lot of naughty fun. Ends on a cliffhanger that made me lose my mind...lol...bring on the next book already!!!

When you read a book that blows you away on every level, you bow down to that author and applaud her awesomeness. Amo killed this book. This may just be the best book I have EVER read!! I don't say that lightly either. I had planned to read at least one more book tonight after I finished this, but I can't do it. I am ruined from this book hangover. I have to savor this one.

This book was EVERYTHING!! It is not only the darkest book I've ever read, but it makes you feel. You will feel heartache . You will feel pain. You will feel sorrow. You will feel despair. You will get angry. You will want to slap someone or someones! You will cry. You will laugh. You will feel the heat. But most importantly, you will feel love. If those aren't enough reasons to pick up this book as soon as it releases, then I don't know what else to say. You damn sure won't regret it. I know I didn't.

This series is so good. I am a true fan of her writing skills. The author not only writes with passion but she continues to master dark romance. This part one of part two is a beginning of a dark side romance not with one but two hot alpha males. I’m not going to lie I was tantalized during some hot crude dirty scenes. This part of the series is probably the scariest. The ending got me though. I immediately had to start part two. If your a fan of Tillie Coles Hangmen series then this is for You. A must read. Raze, Miles and Millie are my utmost favorite characters. Raw and savage

Okay.. This book had quite a lot of what I don't like in books..

For some reason Amo Jones writes so addictive that I just pull through and want to finish the book. I kind of "hated" the first few chapters, maybe hate is a strong word for it. I don't think it was all that necessary, but I can see the point if you read the book further you get it. I just wish Millie didn't need to go through that. Okay it did make her stronger, but also numb so that's not good either.. I like my heroines strong and sassy like I said before and at a sudden point Millie became that heroine. In my opinion she even outreached Melissa in her strength, that could also be the case because the numbness. Because Melissa even though she is strong and could handle a lot she felt a lot more than Millie. That makes Millie the dangerous sister and not Melissa..

I kind of immediately liked Miles who could not? He helped her through a few things and that really did it. He helped her even though she didn't realized it at first. Their bond is something special and it's also rare because they aren't together.

I already bought part 2 so I'm starting that as soon as possible because I'm so curious for all the things that were left hanging.
Yep it finished on a cliffy.. Thank writers this series has the next one already!

Holy fucking shit .. seriously I have no words Amo is a word genius .. I totally loved every minute of this book and can't wait for part 2 .. Raze/Tripp at the beginning I didn't like him much but then I saw his true colours when it came to Millie and I totally fell in love with him yes he is a cold hearted bastard towards others but not Millie I believe deep down he loves her even though he denies it .. I thought Hella was a dominant alpha male but he has nothing on Raze .. I had a feeling that Beast and Raze were brothers and this is confirmed during the book along with another surprise .. as for Millie well she went from a timid nun to a cold hearted BITCH in my opinion but I think she is better this way and it doesnt surprise me what with everything she went through at the hands of the army and Kurr .. there are plenty WTF moments in this book and you don't even see them coming it's a dark read with lots of graphic violence in it but that doesn't change the awesomeness of this book and in my opinion this is the best work of Amo yet I can't wait to see what she comes up with for part 2 ... I haven't put any spoilers in the review because I myself hate spoilers I'd rather find out for myself .. so it's a 5* read from me if I could give it more I would .. I received this book as an Arc for a honest review I hope I have given that without giving any of the storyline away .. to those waiting to read this book it's totally worth the wait and then some Amo is something else to write the way she does it's a gift and I'm honoured to be able to call myself a fan of her work .. so from one of your many many Amo addicts well done babe and can't wait to see what you come up with next ❤️

I have really enjoyed this series and Razing Grace Part One just keeps the momentum going. Although this book can be read as a standalone, it is tied somewhat to the first two books. I suggest that you start with them before you read Razing Grace. You won’t feel lost but if you are like me, and want to know the full backstory, then you’ll want to start at the beginning.

Millie Hart has devoted her life to the Catholic faith and is a Nun for her attending church. She has always been the good girl, the faithful girl, the dependable girl. This faith unknowingly puts her life in danger. She is abducted and forced to endure things that no one should ever have to go through. Innocent or not. As she is forced to process what is happening to her, she learns that evil might not be as bad as she thought it was. Will her innocence keep her strong or will evil prevail and taint her?

Raze is part of the 6 masked men who have taken Millie. He’s a trained killer who is well respected and knows at “The Executioner.” He was bred to lead the life in the army and to kill men. That’s the only purpose he’s only known. He’s hard core and shows no emotion and he’s not about to let little Millie Hart worm her way into his heart. Or at least, that’s what he keeps telling himself. Will he continue down he path of destruction and evil to be the man he was bred to be or will Millie break through and show him that he can in fact love?

Before I get started, all I need to say is Miles. I can’t and won’t give away any spoilers but Miles holds a special place in my heart.

Now that I got that out of the way, let’s talk about Raze. My dark, evil, handsome, and sexy as hell devil. This man is on a mission. Literally. He’s made a name for himself and he has no problem doing what every it takes to get to his desired outcome. From the moment they take Millie, you can see that they have a deep connection. Despite the things that happen between them, both good and bad, they were always electrifying. He broke Millie in what they both consider a good way.

“Because they showed me what it’s like, what it feels like to have someone make you feel good and dirty all at the same time. They tapped into a dark side of me that I didn’t know was there, and now, there’s no way that darkness can be drawn out. I don’t even think I want it to leave.”

Everything that Raze does is perfectly calculated. He’s trained to be that way. Everything has a purpose and everything must be executed perfectly. Watching him fall for Millie was swoon worthy. We all want to see the bad boys break a little, right?

“Dark? I don’t turn dark, Millie. I am dark. I just turn light for you and only you. Don’t even mistake that.”

Are you swooning yet? If not, let me add in some of his sexy, dirty mouth. When I read this, I shared it with my co-blogger and told her I about melted.

“She acts like she’s innocent, and hell, we all know she is, but there’s another side to little Millie Hart and I want to tear that side into pieces and then fuck it back together again.”

Yep, that right there. Enough said.

I went back and forth about how I felts about Millie. At first I didn’t understand her submission when she was taken. There was no sense of flight or fight and although it could be argued that she had given up, I could counter with the fact that there were several times that she wished she would be killed. If that was the case, she could have not submitted as easily, giving a fight that could have pushed one of the guys over the edge and give her exactly what she wanted. However, she comes back to life int he book and turns into one sassy little woman. She doesn’t take any crap and she can hold it together. I wanted to see that part of her from the beginning. She does seem to be the only one that can tame the beast, tame the devil.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and this series. This does leave you on a hell of a cliffhanger so I can’t wait to get my hands on Part Two so I can make sense of everything. There are a lot of different plots that all tie in together. Well done, Amo Jones. You keep me coming back for more and more.

Good God this book was fantastic. Like all Amo Jones' books Razing Grace (part 1) was amazing on a scale of epic proportions. But honestly what else can we expect from the Goddess of mindeffs herself? I absolutely loved Millie and her Psychopath (nope. No spoilers here) as you honestly had NO idea what was coming.

We last saw Millie in Hellraiser when she was kidnapped from Melissa's car and taken to the army. And that's all I'm going to tell you!! This novel was so amazing and is everything! You honestly have no idea what to expect and thats the best part. It was so so sexy and dirty and dark and delicious. Yep. Typical adjectives to describe this author's work.

I loved that as every page turned Millie's sass and courage grew by miles. In a way she found herself in captivity and was stronger than ever. I loved this book and absolutely can't wait to start book 2! Bravo! 4.5 stars! ~Ratula

Another Awesome read, *****5 STARS*****

Dark and recommend.

ohmygawd I LOVE IT. I love it. I love it to a point that despite this book being dark and bloodied, I never thought that I’d end up loving it, cause the first half is about kidnapping, torturing and making Millie’s life so effed up that you’re wondering WHY? to being sold. Amo Jones surprised me at how well she could put together a story that I hated at first, then the anger came, then the pitying Millie then to actually laughing with Millie then to how twisted Raze played Millie, to disgust then finally understanding.

For me, I love this trio, Raze. Millie and Miles and the love triangle thingy that they have going on. Miles was a surprise, and one that I instantly love, his and Millie’s relationship to his and Raze, you wonder about it then you come to understand his character more. I do love the POVs between the H and h are, and that’s always a bonus cause to understand them it’s best to open your mind and get past at why Millie was kidnapped in the first place aaaand can I say the $3xing the chemistry, with this trio, that I just about dropped my Kindle.

I love the flow of this book, how Millie’s character was on point to Millie bringing out the good in both Raze and Miles and it also brings past characters that I love and which they have their own books but trust me the twist and turns that this story unfolds has me like W T H that I never expected this ending!!!!

Re read this book like a billion times. So in love with raze.

Holy mother of god , this book was so unexpected .
From the first page this book pulled me in and intrigued me , I am so glad that I had found this author to fill my addiction of these stories .

In order to read this book I do highly suggest that you read the first two books in this series , so you have the knowledge of everyone who was introduced in book one and two . I thought beast and Heller were bad , this book completely blew that out of the water for me .

This book is absolutely twisted , sick , thrilling , intriguing , absolutely brilliant. You will see hot monkey sex , blood shed, love blossoming and lots of laugh out loud moments . You will experience every sort of emotion named possible .

Millie has been held captive and has been placed in a dungeon and in order to survive she has to do everything that they tell her to do. Mille has to toughen up and accept who she is to become and adapt to her new lifestyle that doesn't involve the catholic lifestyle she once was.

Tripp/Raze is the leader of the sinister 6 masked huntsmen. He is agent 000. He is the most deadliest man you will meet and you should fear him. He is emotionless and deadly and that is what adds to Millie's fear.

This book will leave you in a world spin of emotions at the ending of the book. Be aware it ends in a cliffhanger. I am just going to say it now , the cliffhanger will wreck and break you in every way possible . I cannot wait to see how the second instalment pans out . This book is a must read , this author is extremely talented and has a way with words and storylines .

What is happening inside the head of Amo Jones!!

WHAT?! That’s how it ends? Talk about a CLIFFY, OH MY GOD. I mean, this is the fifth book I’ve read by this author so I really shouldn’t be shocked, but HERE WE ARE, shocked again. I’m so happy the next book is already out because I don’t think I’d be able to take it if I had to wait.

I’ll be honest. The first 10% I wasn’t that crazy about, but then WOAH. It’s just mind boggling to me that Amo can keep coming up with these crazy stories that are all so original and nothing like I’ve read before. The level of dark is in a different dimension. Like NEXT LEVEL.

And these characters, holy crap. These men that Amo develops are so layered and complex and individual. Each one (and there’s a lot throughout her books) has a different intensity and charisma and I just love that about her character development. And the same goes for the women. Millie is probably one of my most favorite heroines I’ve read by Amo, I just love her so very much!

Like I said before there’s a lot of dark in this book, lots of blood, and guts (literally) so I didn’t think I’d find myself getting so emotionally attached to it as I did. it reads a little like a suspense novel at times. It’s very angsty, extremely hot, sometimes forbidden and what I didn’t see coming was the dagger my heart would take. I was sobbing, like tears running down my cheeks, ugly cry sobbing. And then it ended and I died. I’m immediately going into Razing Grace part 2 because I HAVE TO.

I am still in shock of what I just finished reading! This book just goes to show how incredibly talented and amazing this author is what how she puts exactly what she wants you to see in writing. I envisioned ever single sick detail of what went on during this book that left me so fascinated it scared me. When we last heard from Millie she was just taken from her sister and the Devil's Due MC; what happened to Melissa's nun sister, I for one was terrified to know.

I could tell you about this story in certain details and describe each character but knowing what I know now about the ending and throughout this story just wouldn't give it justice. You need to just know that this was the most twisted story I have ever read, and I absolutely loved every moment. Millie meets Raze/Tripp and her world comes falling down around her to a dark place she won't be able to come out. I am so heartbroken over a certain character in this book and I don't know how things will carry on but I am aching to find out more of this story. You are left in such an heart warming way at the end it left me in tears. I fall more and more in love with this author every new book I read! This book was filled with blood, death, dismembered bodies, sister love, twisted romance, hot sex and even some humor at times. I craved to keep reading each chapter as it would get darker and darker. Thank you Amo Jones for pulling me out of my reading funk and back to life through your darkness!

What's that noise?

Oh yes, it's my heart thudding in my ears and trying to explode out of my rib cage. Dramatic? well that was one drama filled read by Amo Jones.

Raze is a man of many names, The executioner,000,Tripp,Kingpin he's the God of all that's dark in the underground world and it takes a nun to grace his world to soften this hard dangerous beast of a man.

I was quickly sucked into the plot, Millie a nun gets taken, thrown into captivity for reasons she doesn't know, her captures wear masks each with a role to break her down.

Razing Grace is a dark read and not for the faint hearted, Millie was stripped of her dignity her beliefs and her sanity.

Millie has a link to the MC, previous books I haven't read but there's a story behind certain conversations with the men in the MC and also about her sister who is with one of the members and I'm looking forward to reading their story's.

From start to finish I was gripped to the plot with the darkness crudeness and the intensity of it all at times.

Millie was not broken, she came out stronger and both Raze and Millie had a bond that is unfathomable with all that she went through.

A dark and gripping plot that is hot, full of suspense, angst, bloodshed has twists and turns and totally left me sitting on a ledge wanting to jump straight into book 2.
