After the accident I became no one…

I’m a blank slate.
I don’t remember the larger things you take for granted, like who am I, where I live, or if I have a family.
I remember nothing of importance.
The only clues are in the ruins that surround me.

Walking into the club, the growly voice behind me entices me to learn about myself. To look at this moment instead of the past. To find out what my new life can be if I give it a chance.
He's excessive, he's empowering, he's dangerous.
He's more than I bargained for.
The ex-MMA fighter that owns the hottest sex club in New York is everything I should avoid.

I swore it would be only one time, but as his hands roam I’m not sure this is something I could give up. Not even for a glimpse of who I was.

As I build new memories, can I give them—and him—all up for the past I’m missing?

Avid reader, lover of words. To me, picking a book, is like grabbing a movie. If it's wrote well, the story leaps off the page at you, giving you characters that are tangible. I love to make them come to life, and I hope the stories of mine become well loved. I can be found on these other pages.

Nice take on the amnesia storyline!

I liked this story about Lincoln (a.k.a. Rush) and Keenan. A former MMA champion who now owns a thriving sex club and a girl who lost her memory in some sort of accident where she was trapped in a small space for a time.

Keenan has recurring nightmares of the trauma but is unable to remember anything from her former life and nobody has come forward that knows her despite police involvement and having her picture on the news after it happened. So she is trying to deal with living a new life.

The character development is quite good despite the book being only about 200 pages or so. There are some supporting characters that you get to know a bit, and they are a fun group of friends. The romance between Lincoln and Keenan is pretty much insta-love but I don’t really mind that. They were both lonely and they just worked together.

There were multiple storylines, one was about his MMA fighting and why he quit and dealing with an opponent who wants him to come back to defend his title, so the opponent can’t take it. Then there is the storyline of her amnesia. I enjoyed both stories and thought they both developed naturally and at a good pace. I just thought the ending was a bit too coincidental. Not that it wasn’t good.

Keenan has no memory of her life before the accident, so her life is a blank slate. She has no idea if there is anyone looking for her, or even what her real name is. So she has decided to take the life she has now in control, which leads her to a sexy club to find out what her likes are in bed. Never once did she think the tall stranger with dangerous hands would be it, and she just wants to keep him a mystery. But fate had another plan. Lincoln aka Rush, has always been a fighter, as he fights for the people he cares about, what he believes in, but never has he ever fought for a woman. All of his rules went out the window when the beautiful Keenan stepped into his club. He wants her like nothing he's ever wanted before, and he intends to have her. However, what happens when fate steps in, and it becomes more than either of them planned for?

Another story that I never saw coming! WHAT AN EMOTIONALLY POWERFUL STORY! I LOVED it so very much, and was super sad when it ended too soon for my liking. The character development is great, especially in a story where the heroine can't remember anything. I can't forget to mention the highly entertaining, and colorful cast of secondaries that I wanted to be my new besties! And HOLY HOTNESS BATMAN! The flammable chemistry nearly set my panties on fire when it EXPLODED into such FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness, that I will never wear drawers again while reading this author! Kerri Ann's super talented writing style had me hot & bothered, seriously emotional, and jacked up to high heaven by the end of the story. Her twists and turns were brilliantly diabolical, as in, I guessed a thing or two, but she still shocked me into f-bombs raining down everywhere by the very end! She is definitely an author that I will follow, and read more in the future, so I have to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this original, and super sexy story!

Keenan can't remember anything but she knows that she needs more then what she has right now. When trying to find answers about her life, she meets some wonderful friends that take her under their wing. When she goes to the club she finds a man that fits the bill of what she needs for the night. She's not looking for a relationship, she doesn't want one at this point. How was she to know that her life was going to change again by going to the club and meeting Rush.

There's some twists in the story that I never saw coming. Not even a hint of them. Loved the friends and how they had each other backs.

I loved the way that I was drawn into this book and didn't want to put it down. A great book to add to my list of series I want to continue.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book.
This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and goodness, it will definitely not be the last. This is the story of Keenan who loses her memory in an accident, but she refuses for that to affect her life, and Rush, a retired MMA fighter, now club owner. These two have an instant attraction to each other. The secondary characters are a good compliment to this story.
This author has the ability to reel the reader in from the very beginning, and express the emotions of the character to the extent that the reader feels as if they are right there alongside the characters. This is a unique and intriguing ability, and I loved the journey with all of the twists and turns throughout. I recommend this authors work for all, and cannot wait to read more of Kerri’s work.

How had I never heard of this book before?

I loved this book. It started off really slow, and I was just about to stop reading, but then all of a sudden it got explosive hot. Rush was just one giant man of heat and I loved it. The chemistry he had with Keenan was off the charts.

While there were some parts that felt rushed & unfeeling, other parts felt unnecessary and dragged out.

But overall, it's a pretty amazing book and I loved it!

This was a 4 star read for me until the twist that brought it all together....that pushed it to a solid 5. I love it when something happens that I didn't see coming at all. Really enjoyed the story

Rushed by Kerri Ann a sublime five-star read. Rushed by Kerri Ann is the first book by this author I have read, and I loved it. It’s a stand-alone, it is suitable for a more mature audience only, as it does contain scenes of a sexual and abusive nature. There is also some actual violence and some alluded to violence that may make some readers uncomfortable, but they are handled in a very caring manner, and karma plays her part in this story as well.
Kennan Doe is a woman who some would say has a simple life, she was part of a massive accident and somehow managed to get hit in the head and lose her memory, perhaps a good thing considering the circumstances, but not so good when you don’t remember who you are, she wouldn’t even have a name if it wasn’t for a kindly rescuer she named Angel. How would you feel not knowing anything about yourself but being able to remember a line from a game show? Not even being able to remember if you like girls or boys? What you like to eat and drink, having no one come forward to claim you. After Kennan decided to finally get some clarity on these issues she goes to a club that her hotel buddy has told her about, a club where hopefully she can find out at least the answer to one of those questions.
Lincoln ‘Rush’ Moore is a man of many talents, he’s an ex MMA fighter and he is determined never to step back into that cage, but he will fight for what’s his, and when he sees a woman in his club, she makes him want to break his own rules. He tells himself never to get involved with patrons of his club, less mess that way. The only problem is fate and his heart (as well as other body parts) don’t seem to have gotten the message. Will it end in disaster? Or will the Angels be singing on this paring?
Kerri Ann keeps you guessing all the way through this story, it unfolds in a natural progression but there is enough intrigue to keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved the way that it gave hints about things but never confirmed until you get the major wammy. I am a crier and I cry at adverts where the puppy chases the toilet roll, but this book had me sobbing so hard I couldn’t breathe. It’s a sublime read that you need in your life.

My Review of Rushed by Kerri Ann
My Rating 4 Stars
Amnesiac Keenan has no roots that she can remember that is. Nightmares plaque her each and every night, yet she doesn’t know how they fit in to the reason she has no identity, no memory. Keenan is ready to start living and what a better way to start living than getting out and finding someone to rock your world for a night.
Lincoln (Rush) takes note of Keenan when she enters club Dangereux and these two have an intense pull to one another. Rush is the owner of the club and a retired MMA fighter and one night out on the town for Keenan erupts into more than either of these two seen coming.
This story had a build-up that you didn’t see coming and the storyline was strong with each twist and turn of the plot as it thickens. I enjoyed the emotional pull the book had and how genuine the characters feel. I completely enjoyed every page and I’m excited to read more from this author. The elements in this story carry an intensity you can’t pull away from and I found myself reading page after page until the story was complete. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a different story that will give you the feels!

Keenan
Who am I? My name is not my name.... I remember nothing of real importance.

Rush
I sure as s h I t e didn't see this evening coming. Feck me!

Rushed is the story of Keenan and Rush.

Keenan has no clue who she is, where she's from, what she does for a living, if she has a family. Nothing. She is a blank slate. She has a nightmare that plays on repeat when she sleeps but tells her nothing but that she's gone through something traumatic.

Rush is the owner of Dangereux which is where he meets Keenan for the first time. He breaks his own rule and interacts with her.

We meet a lot of interesting characters along the way. Troy an employee at the hotel Keenan is staying in that becomes a close friend. Max who tries to keep Rush in line. And of course the evil Mick with daddy issues.

I was very shocked at how good this book actually was. This is the authors second book, but her writing is that of a much more seasoned author. And if you can figure out what happened to Keenan before it's revealed in the book I will tap my hat to you as it was a total shock to me. This book is very much worth a read and I hope you give it a chance.

RUSHED
by Keri Ann

This book touched your heart as the characters of Lincoln(Rush) and Keenan go through the ups and downs of life. Keenan is a victim of an accident that has caused her memory to be lost yet you get to see her grit as she decides not to let that hold her back and she moves on in life. Rush is a retired MMA fighter that owns a club and is taken with Keenan the moment he sees her. Through the twist and turns of this book you get to feel the emotions and grit these characters have. This is one of those books that its 3am you have read all night but don't regret it because it leaves you feeling like you were a part of the book. Like the character come alive off the page. You feel the emotions as they travel down the road of their relationship the good, the bad and the ugly, it really takes you on a great ride.

Losing her memory gives way to a can't put down, multi-layered, unique, and original story for Keenan. Who is she? What was her life prior to the accident? Insert brash, sinfully sexy ex-MMA fighter turned club owner Rush. The immediate, dirty-hot romp between the two is electric and you devour it as everything else melts away.

I loved how it all fit together, the pieces of what was began to surface, and you won't believe how good it is. I love Kerri Ann's vibrant, strong heroines, and scorching, sweet alpha male leads. Impressively dipping into more intense intimate scenes than her first book, they just burned the pages. Peppered with a host of adorably endearing supportive characters, and annoyingly frustrating antagonists, her words are beautifully descriptive, snarky, and enduce major feels at the sweet spots. Her stories are always an adventure worth taking!! I'm appreciative for the copy to review.

Wow! This was an excellent book!!
We start out getting to know Keenan, a victim of amnesia. She has no memory of who she is or what happened to her.
She meets a bunch of great new friends who help her start her new life, memories or not! They send her to a new club, so she can try to start building new memories. The club is called Dangereux and is owned by Rush. He is the current MMA champion belt holder, but is in retirement.
Keenan meets Rush at the club, and you can feel the sparks fly! Rush feels a connection to her that he just can't explain, so he decides to take it to the next level.
This book is filled with suspense, drama, and LOTS of steamy sex scenes! Love her writing style!! Great character build-up!! Not going to give anything away, just highly recommending this book!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. In my honest opinion, Kerri Ann did an amazing job on this book!!! Can't wait to read more from her!!

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I am still trying to recover. I am a new fan of this author due to what I have read. She took me on a crazy adventure and just when you thought you knew what was going to happen she threw you curve ball. This book had at all mystery, action, and very hot passion. I was hooked from the very first page of this incredible story. I was so addicted to this story it only took me a few hours to finish this amazing book.

Keenan was in an horrible accident and she can not remember anything about. Shea's also forgot who she is as well. She has no idea if she has a family or a lover. She call herself Keenan but she has no idea why. She has no past it is all blank to her. She keeps on trying to remember what happ be to her but all she gets are nightmares that make no sense to her. Then one day she wakes up wanting to make a new life for herself. She meets some new friends and one of her new friends tells her about this exclusive club. Keenan is intrigued by this club and she ends up going one night. She is into trying new things and she enters the club with her head held high and that's when she sees him. She feels a pull towards a very hot stranger. Her night ends not the way she wanted it to. She ends up going back to the place she is staying at all alone. She can not get that hot stranger out of her head all night long. She wakes up to someone pounding on her door. She opens it very cautiously and there he is the hot stranger. He calls himself Rush. Keenan can tell that Rush is one of the bad boys. She knows that in her head that he is wrong for her but it feels so right to her heart. She is loving her new life and friends but things start to get dangerous. Will Keenan find out who she really is or will her past always be blank? Will her new life put herself into danger that she can't get out of if so who will save her?

Rush is a retired fighter that now he need his own business. He does not want to be known as Rush the fighter any more. One night he sees a beautiful woman walk into his club and can not take his eyes off of her. He goes over to her and that start talking and then all of a sudden a fight happens and he has to leave to take care of it. When he gets back she is gone without a trace. He feels something for her that he has never felt before. Rush is the guy that gets what he wants and now he wants Keenan. He doesn't know how but he finds himself at her door the next morning. Rush is not the type guy that does serious relationships but Keenan is making him rethink of everything he has ever known. Rush is liking his life until his past comes back and makes things a little more dangerous for him. Will he see that there can be more with Keenan or will scare him away? Will his past come back and destroy it all before it even gets started or will it bring them closer together?

I truly loved reading every minute of this story. I love the story line and also the characters. Keenan has the best of friends and I loved every single one of them. She is one of my favorite characters I have read so far. She is so brave and did not care what other people thought of her. Rush is one of my favorite heros I have read so far. I love how he wanted to protect Keenan from the very beginning. He is also very swoon worthy with jos looks and charm. He also would do anything to see Keenan happy. I was also happy that this book is in dual point of view. I love reading both characters side of the story. I like how you read what they are both thinking about one another. I was so shocked of the ending my mouth was wide open. This book will have you on a wild ride all the way through. There are some very hot scenes that will
make you weak in the knees. I can not wait to see what this author is going to do next.

Since the accident, she has been a woman without a name, a home or even a history. With no recollection of who she was before and the life that she leads, she has decided to find out who she should be now. Going to this club, she had no misgivings about what she will like and what she will find, but she never expected to find him. He is tall, dangerous and hands that roam her body and a voice like silk. But she doesn’t want to see his face, she wants him to remain a mystery the same as she is. But that one night was all she needed to be felt, caressed, then she could go back to living to being the no one within the crowd. But fate has other plans.

He is a fighter, always has been and is always willing to fight what he believes in and fight for the ones he cares about. But never has he fought for a girl. The club he runs has loads of women and able bodies that would willingly come to his bed, but he doesn’t want that. He would rather find his release and then set them free, and thing else gets twisted, that was his number 1 rule, until her.
She stepped through the door and know that he wanted her, he wanted to feel her body up against his, he wanted to touch her, see the colour rise in her cheeks, but never did I expect it to become more. Maybe he should have put up more of a fight to stay away.

Rushed is a stand-alone novel by Kerri Ann, and the first book I have read form this author and I will not be my last.

I absolutely loved the story line of these book, it has an excellent mix of all genres from Romance, to erotic, mystery and all with the added dark twists. I was truly captivated from the start and loved every minute of this book. It had some slightly darker moments than I imagined it to be but it just added more to this already captivating and entrancing book.
This book had action, romance, heartbreak, upsetting scenes to some. There was love and friendship that continued to grow through the book, and also the self-discovery for the main characters. I’m so glad we got to find out that information and wasn’t left in the dark about it, but I’m also glad that it didn’t make a difference to life Keenan was living now. If fact it made it even better. This book also had amazing hot, passionate scenes that really connected the two main characters on a different level that even they didn’t think they would ever have. But again, sometimes is was about discovering something new for Keenan to bring into her life and give her the chance to experiment and learn new things.

The characters made this book even more captivating, I was always routing for Keenan to finally have everything she wanted, even if she didn’t get her memories back you were hoping that she would continue to be happy living the life she was discovering. From the moment, she walked into the club and Rush’s hands roamed her body you knew it was only the beginning for the two of them. Along with the main characters the secondary characters are just as captivating, with this getting an opening for other stories to progress I’d love to read more about Troy and Jackson and how they met and the back story before the events that occurred with Troy.

You could say that Keenan has gone through a lot, but all you know is that before her accident she had a life, a life that is now a mystery to her. With no claiming that she is missing, she has to start a new life and with that a new name, Keenan now finding things that out of what she might like or dislike and one thigs for sure she needs release. Going to club on a whim, she knows what to expect but never the man whose hands are driving her crazy. With her life just starting out again she never expected to be sweep up and be crazy about this one guy, but he is the be all and end all, even if her memories do return all she knows is that Rush A.K.A Lincoln will be coming into her existing life, but when traumatic events occur, she thrusted back into her past where she finally discovers who she is and that only makes her current life even better. Especially with a new discovery of the day that she lost her memories. But with everything Keenan has gone through you can tell she is a headstrong woman, who won’t give up without a fight whether that’s in her new life or the previous. I loved seeing how her two-lives merged into one and just made it even more better, and made her a better person for it!

Rush A.K.A Lincoln has lived his life as a MMA fighter but now retired to manage his club Dangeroux. But with a rival Mike doing this to jeopardise not only his business but commit crimes against his loved ones, Rush has tried his best to stay away from the cage. But upon meeting Keenan one night in his club he knew he had to have her, and not share. But things like that never happen to him. He is your typical alpha male, protective, stubborn, hard but he never intended to fall for Keenan, that quickly and deeply. He never forces her to try and regain her memories but he shows his vulnerable side when he confesses what he would feel if she got her life back and didn’t want him apart of it, and how much Keenan has made him whole, and actually realise how much of an impact she makes on him in a short space of time.

Keenan and Lincoln’s relationship and connection has got to be one of the most real, and genuine I have read in a while and I’m so glad they get a HEA.
I hope this isn’t the last of their story and we get to read about them more again, but don’t miss this read. Its full of self-discovery, friendship, love, passion and great characters.

Rushed by Kerri Ann- 4 stars
She calls herself Keenan, it’s the only name she knows. Keenan has no idea who she is, where she is from or what happened to her after the accident. No one comes for her or files a missing persons report so she has to make a new life for herself. Thankfully, she has a few friends that take her immediately under their wing and help her to explore new possibilities and indulge the feelings that she is getting from her faint memories. Kennan is invited back to an exclusive club to explore more of her “needs” that are not being fulfilled and believes this will be a safe way to carry out what she wants. However, a violent scene occurs the night that she sets foot in this club and despite meeting someone who cataches her eye, she immediately goes back home empty handed.
The exclusive club that Keenan finds herself in is run by a man name Rush. Rush has somewhat of a violent history himself, being a retired MMA fighter turned entrepreneur. His moto is love them and leave them, nothing serious and absolutely no emotions- that was until he set his eyes on Keenan that first night. After the violent outburst in his club, he realizes that his chance with Keenan is over and finds her missing from his club. Untrue to his nature, he finds himself tracking her down and wanting to see if there is a possibility for “more” with her.
Keenan is on a constant path of self-discovery and has to learn to be a strong and independent person. Rush has to learn that there are people worth letting his guard down for, and there is a woman out there that can meet his needs both emotionally and physically if he lets them.
Whew.. what a book! I could not get over all of the mini plot twists and did not want to put it down! This novel was a very addicting quick read with fantastic dual perspective narratives. Although it is hard to watch what Keenan is going through, Kerri Ann distracts us with beautiful story line, steamy love scenes and incredible character development. You will find yourself rooting for Keenan to figure out who she really is and at the same time wish you had a Rush in your life to heat things up. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Rushed by Kerri Ann is full of twist and surprises nobody expects. It keeps you hooked until the end.

Keenan, as she was named by a friend, has no memory of her life before the “accident”, so her life is a blank slate. She has to build a new life or try to piece together her old one. She doesn't know if anyone is out looking for her, or what her real name is. What is she supposed to do? Just wait for a memory to hit her or go out in search of clues. She has decided to take the life she has now and take control, which in turn leads her to a sexy club. She's trying to find out what her likes are in bed, and what better place to find out. Never once did she think that the tall stranger with dangerous hands would be it, and she just wants to keep him a mystery.

What an EMOTIONAL STORY! I LOVED it so much, and was sad when it ended too soon.. The character development is great, especially in a story where the heroine can't remember anything. And HOLY SMOKES!!! Her twists and turns were brilliantly diabolical, as in, I tried guessing a thing or two, but she still shocked me everywhere by the very end! She is definitely an author that I will follow, and read more in the future, so I have to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this one of a kind, and super sexy story!

A fascinating story about a young woman who wakes up with no recollection of who she is or what her life was like & a man who dares to love her. Keenan has to start living her life from scratch after an accident leaves her with no memories & no family or friends to claim her. What would the mysterious woman in the mirror wear, where would she go? Keenan is scared but excited to restart her life– is that even her name? We don’t immediately find out whether it is. Through a mutual friend she meets the mysterious Rush. He has a sexy accent and an even sexier body!! The only problem is, she firsts meet him as a client at his secret club and he has a rule about fraternising with the clients. Should he break his rule for this mysterious girl?
WOW! What a hot start to a book! This book drew me in from the first chapter. I normally don’t read this type of book but I will definitely look for more by this author in the future! The characters were well written and I really liked the idea of us learning about the main character at the same time as she learned about herself. What a fascinating idea. Starting again with a blank canvas and not knowing your likes/ dislikes, your personality, having no history at all. The love scenes were HOT and the passion leapt off the page & left the reader gasping for more. I would recommend this book to friends but warn their partners of the effect it might have on them! Not your run of the mill romance, this is far more. Twists and turns in the final third of the book only enhanced my enjoyment. 5 stars! Fabulous book!

Rushed by Kerri Ann was such a great book. The characters are all so lovable. This book was so easy to start and finish quickly. I think I was able to finish it in a day.

Keenan is a girl who was involved in some sort of accident and doesn't remember anything. She doesn't know her name, her address, any family...nothing! She was named Keenan by someone she met the day of the accident. He actually gave her a name that was Kenangan...it means memory in Indonesian.

Keenan has been living in a hotel since she has no idea where she lives. She makes friends with Troy and they run together. Meeting Troy completely changed the course of her life. She becomes good friends with him and his friends and that's when she she runs into Rush. He is one sexy devil that she can't seem to get out of her head. He is the owner of a sex club named Dangereux. He has the same feelings towards Keenan right away.
Someone attacks her in his club and is no other then Mick.....he is one of the most hated men by Rush by reasons you will find out about in the book.

Aside from being the owner of a sex club, Rush also is a retired MMA fighter who retired as the champion. When someone wants his title he returns from retirement to give them the chance.

One would think Keenan would be a shy wallflower considering what she has been through but, she is such a strong character in this book and continues to show her strength as the pages go on.

This is the first time I've read a book by this author but I am glad I was introduced to her writing style.

I really enjoyed this story. It is about how one person is affected by a major accident in history and how she gets her life back and even though it may not be the life she had, she is making it work. The story starts off with the girl with no memory of herself or her life, except that someone gave her the name Keenan.

“Who am I? My name is not my name. I don’t know who my parents are, or if I have any siblings. I don’t know where I was born or where I grew up. I remember nothing of real importance.”

This kind of memory loss means “Keenan” must start her life over. It seems strange to her, and to me as a reader, that no one is looking for her or missing her, sad really. On the positive side, this is a great chance for her to start over, try things, be brave and daring.

Rush aka Lincoln seems to be an all-around great person. No secret horrible childhood, no real deep dark secrets to reveal. Just a person, all grown up who happens to like giving a little spanking to his lovers and a fist to his opponent in the cage during a fight.

I liked Keenan’s other new friends and hope they get a story of their own. I like Kerri Ann’s writing style because I was never skipping parts, or thinking about other things while reading. She drew me in with the storyline, the hotness and the twists that are thrown in as the story evolved.

I recommend this story for the 18+ readers for sure. The sex scenes will need a reader that isn’t closed minded. The sexual assault and rape may be a trigger for some, so read with caution but enjoy!

Wow! I don't know where to begin. This story started out about a girl who lost her memory in what she prefers to as the accident. She knows nothing about her life before, not even her name. Then BAM! A plot twist I didn't expect! I'm still in shock about this book. The story line is really well written. I love the path she takes to try to get her memory back. She looks for clues in unexpected places. Kerri Ann did a great job writing about the change Keenan goes through mentally. Knowing absolutely nothing about her former life, she starts to embrace the life she has created. With the help of a few friends whom she meets, gets to know, and becomes close to, she sets out on this self discovery journey. The happier she becomes with herself, the less she has the need to find out who she was. I love the way I was drawn into Keenan's story and felt like I was on the path of self discovery with her.

When she steps into a club that is unlike any other club, she is as surprised about the outcome as Rush. Rush is the owner of the club that makes it a rule not to fraternize with the patrons. That is, until he saw Keenan. He knew he just had to have her! Not interested in a relationship, he propositioned her. She didn't know how to react. Not knowing who she was stood in the way. She thought long and hard about what he had offered and decided why not. That is how their relationship starts. Also, her mindset about finding out who she once was, changes into a journey to build upon the new girl she now wants to become.

This book is a must read! It will keep you turning the pages through every twist and turn of Keenan's journey. It left me wanting more of Rush and Keenan's story. It is one of those books that I won't soon forget. I really enjoyed the dual POV of Keenan and Rush. Dive in, but expect to read it in one sitting because you won't want to put it down!

Rushed, written by Kerri Ann, is a psychological romance with suspense and a MMA references. This story was an epic suspense in how it was masterfully written by the author.

Keenan has lost her memory. She cannot remember anything since that day despite all efforts to try. She does not know who she is, who she was or anything that a person should know. So now, she is living a life she is not quite sure what to do with. All her likes and dislikes are unknowns, so she embarks to discover what it is that she desires in her life.

Rush is drawn to Keenan as soon as he sees her walk through the door. He is unable to deny the desire, the attraction, the longing he has for her. Rush's character oozes a high dose of sex appeal in this novel. He knows what he wants, when he wants and how he wants it.

As you progress further and further into this story, more details begin to slip and the story further develops. What you thought the premise of the story was changes somewhere before the end, once that happens, you will take a sharp turn and wonder how the heck you missed that... yet, in doing so, you know that the author has delivered a truly unique spin on the story in an astounding use of words.

I have read several other books by this author and Kerri Ann continues to provide excellent stories one after another. Just remarkably well done.

Keenan endured through tragic event. She has lost all memories that she had including the memory of her name. Keenan is a name that was given to her by one of her rescuers. She is unsure of who she is, but she wants to make the most of the life she has now. In her quest to fulfill this desire, she finds her way to a club. She was not sure what to expect, but Lincoln or otherwise known as Rush was not it. Rush is a fighter. However, he never fought for a woman. Then, he sees Keenan, and he knows he wants her. He also knows she is going to be different.
Keenan is finding herself. She is wants to try as much as she can. I love that about her. I also love her guy friends. They were hilarious, incredible, and sweet. They were my one of my favorite parts of the book. Lincoln is protective and a true alpha. Keenan’s and Lincoln’s chemistry was extremely hot and amazing! I enjoyed reading about these two and her friends.
I loved the surprises and twists that this story has in it. It helped keep me in engaged in the story and the story flowed really well. I also love how Kerri Ann brought everything together especially how she brought everything together for Keenan. It was very well done, and I was satisfied with how everything in the story evolved. I would recommend this book. Keenan’s and Lincoln’s story is great!

Rushed by Kerri Ann is a story about a woman who doesn't remember who she is and her journey of trying to figure it out. This story is full of twists and turns and of course hot, sexy romance. You will enjoy how this author has created characters that will pull at your heart strings one minute and the next need ice water to cool off. I enjoy this author creation of characters that I was able to connect to and relate too. This story will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions that will pull you in from the first word. Find out what happens to this woman as she is in search of who she and what she finds at the end of her journey.

Keenan is a woman who has no idea who she is. She is a victim of an accident that has left her with memory loss. It has been painful for her not to remember who she is, where she live or any history. She is determined to find herself again. When she steps into a club one night, she never expected to find him. He is tall, dangerous, sexy man and hands that roam and her chance at one night to just feel. What she doesn't realize is that fate has a different plan for her. Will she find out who she really is? What will she do with him? After the one night, she just wanted to go back being someone in a crowd but is it to late for that?

Rush is a fighter who fights for what he believes in and for the people that he loves. Fighting for a girl just isn't who he is or has been. He believes that women are for finding his relief, enjoy them and then set them free. Until he meets her. He can't seem to get her out of his head. Will it become more? Does he want more? He has rules that he has set for himself but will he break those rules for her? He wants her, has to have her but will she feel the same?

Keenan and Rush's relationship has been one based on attraction from the beginning. They seem to have a connection from that first meeting. She doesn't know who she is and he doesn't seem to do relationships. Will they change each other? Will he show her who she really is? Will fate have something totally different in store for these two? These two characters are strong people who know what they want and how to get it. She may not know who she is but her determination is huge and knows that she must figure it out. He is a hot, sexy hero that doesn't fight for women. Both these characters grow throughout this story and really do make this story flow. You will fall in love with these two characters as they go through struggles and try to come out on top. Will they find what neither one of them was looking for?

This is my first story by Kerri Ann and I know it won't be the last. I can't wait to see what she has next for these characters! Kerri has an appetite for stories which is why you will find her nose in a book or writing. You can easily find her under a shade tree scribbling notes about new stories and new characters. You will enjoy how she has created a story that is fast paced and will have you losing total track of time. You will need to see what happens to these characters and they will give you the need to see what is behind every page turned. I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to see what happens with these two characters as she learns about herself.

*****5 STARS*****
Rushed by Kerri Ann

Kerri Ann’s novel Rushed is a great 5 star contemporary erotic romance with a little action and suspense mixed in. The story follows Keenan, at least that's what she is going by, as she tries to start living life after an awful disaster led to her having complete memory loss. As Keenan meets new people and goes to new places, she hopes something will spark a memory, but also is just ready to move on if the memories don't come back. Through another night of firsts, Keenan meets Rush, and the heat and connection is undeniable from the start.

Rush, who's real name is Lincoln, is a former MMA champion fighter who owns a club called Dangereux, where almost anything goes, as long as there's consent between parties. Rush is tough, protective, and used to being in charge, but as a result of some bad things that have happened in the past, he has blocked himself off to having feelings for someone. His unexpected interactions with Keenan, and his sudden feeling of protectiveness for her, catches him completely off guard and he decides he wants her in his life.

The story follows them getting to know each other and opening up to each other emotionally and physically. The past comes back to haunt them both in different ways and they're faced with figuring out if they can survive what's happening around them. The author created some likable characters, and approached some very awful situations in a mature and respectful manner. The author was able to describe and explore the emotional scars faced by the characters. The passionate and steamy scenes with Keenan and Rush were just... “wow”, and I found myself wanting them to be together forever. The ever-present protector and father-figure Jon, as well as the great group of guy friends Keenan makes, including Rush’s brother Troy, just added to the story. I’d love to see another book with these same characters in the future. I definitely recommend this book to those that enjoy stories of people overcoming scars and nightmares of their pasts to find indescribable love, with all the lustful passionate connections.

As said in the novel “There's no good that comes from looking on the downside. You'll slide off the earth unhappy. But if you look on the bright side, you'll always soar to the sun.”

Lots of surprises, twists and turns

Rushed by Kerri Ann is a standalone novel about a women named Keenan who after a head trauma, one she does not  remember, suffers from amnesia. Keenan isn't even her real name just a name that was given to her when she was rescued. Keenan is all alone, her only friend being an officer who was on duty when she was saved, wandering around New York completely at a loss and feeling very lonely and lost. Until she decides one night she's done wallowing in her hotel room and enters a club that will change her life forever.

What a highly addictive book!!! This book was jam packed with mystery, suspense, lust, love, devastation, and pain. The author did an amazing job with her writing techniques and had the ability to have me hooked from page one. There were many surprises in this book that I did not see coming. This truly was an amazing story about a very strong women who took life one day at a time and held her own regardless of how many punches life threw at her. I’m not sure if this is the last we’ve heard of Keenan as the book did not end with a cliffhanger but with the possibility for more. This book does contain situations that may be a trigger for some so caution should be used. I recommend all readers be over the age of 18 due to adult language and adult content. I give this book 4 stars.

“I need to be free of this. I need my life back.”
“I wake with a start, gasping for air. The nightmare of my past is always the same. I’m alone, held captive by an unmovable source, and I panic. It’s too much for me to endure day in and day out.”
Keenan has been through a tragedy, one that is most unforgettable in our history, as one of the worst days in American history. The negative, or positive, is she doesn’t remember a thing. All she has is this nightmare that steals her sleep and a bland hotel room. “There’s no use in finding sleep tonight, or any other night, really. The nightmare is always there, every time I close my eyes. I’m stuck in the past, delaying my future, and I need to be free of this. I need my life back.” Not only does she not remember the tragedy, she doesn’t remember anything about herself or who she was prior either. She doesn’t even remember her own name. Sadly, this is compounded by the fact that no one seems to be looking for her or missing her. She is basically an unknow needle in a haystack. After weeks of dreaming this nightmare night after night, she has had enough. She decides that she will take her notebook that her doctors have told her to use in case she remembers anything and find out who she was. “That’s when I started a diary. After I felt their efforts weren’t enough, and that doing the same thing over and over was just a waste of time, the stupid little pink and white polka dotted journal became my outlet. It laid heavy in my hands for those first few weeks, as heavy as my burden of nothingness. A big fat zero in the eyes of a stranger that peers back.”
When the journaling does nothing to spark her memory, Keenan decides she is going to start fresh in this new life. She will make a new person with what she has been given. The hotel she is staying at has a few clubs that she joins, one being the running club. It is there she meets Tony. They strike a natural friendship and he invites her into his group of friends. They happily accept her after a short period of time. Tony also senses Keenan’s needs to have other outlets. He invites her to his brother’s club, the Dangereux. In her quest to find release amongst the constant unknown she stumbles into the club’s owner, and Troy’s brother, Rush. “You’re the bar owner? Your friends with Troy? Did he tell you I was coming here? Of course, he did. You know about everyone.” Just as she is taken with Rush, so Rush is taken with her. Both, wondering how far they will go to be with each other. “I shouldn’t have done that, but you make me wanna do things I shouldn’t. Ya bring it out of me Keenan.”
Lincoln ‘Rush’ Moore, is a retired MMA fighter. The life he is trying to run away from though finds him and Keenan at his club. Mick challenges him to a fight after a scuffle and this becomes the antagonist in their relationship for now.
I really enjoyed this books use of our history and how the Keri Ann wove the story around what was going on in real life at the time. It flowed beautifully and had the perfect no sissy happily ever after that fit the characters’ very well. It was a quick read as well so definitely something you can devour in one sitting and get the answers to the questions you have from the first page.

5 out of 5 stars
This is the first book by Ms. Ann that I have read and I simply loved it. The characters where well developed and the secondary characters where hilarious as well as well-developed the story line was amazing and intriguing at the same time. I just couldn’t put this book down I read it in one sitting.
She has no memory but a knight in shining armor named her Keenan and she is a mystery to herself and others. An accident caused her amnesia and she can't remember anything about her life before she woke up and was rescued. She has no name, no family, no history. Now she's trying to survive and live her life and try to figure out who the heck she is. She comes across some amazing people and their friends and family become her family.
Stepping into the club and no misgivings about what she’ll like and what she’ll find, but he wasn’t it. Tall, dangerous, hands that roam everywhere she need them to and a voice like silk. She doesn’t want to see his face, she wants him to be a mystery like I am.
One night is all she’ll need to feel, to be caressed and revered, then she can go back to being no one in the crowd.

But fate had a different plan…..
Rush is a fighter. He fights for what he believes in and he fights for the people he cares about, but he’s never been the guy fighting for the girl, they fall at his feet. His club is swimming with sex, women and able bodies to take to his bed, but he doesn’t. He finds his relief, enjoy them and then set them loose anything more and your head gets twisted up. That was his rule.
When she stepped through the door he knew he wanted her, he wanted to taste her and feel her soft body up against his. He had to touch her. He had to see the color rise in her cheeks. Did he know it would become more?
Maybe he should have stayed away….
I simply loved this story and can’t wait to see more of Keenan and Rush. I highly recommend this book.

Rushed by Kerri Ann is a standalone and I was not disappointed. This book had about everything you could ask for. Mystery, romance, hot steamy intimate moments, and of course great friends who will do anything for one another.

Keenan has no memory of anything prior to a head injury and has the same nightmare each night. She is alone and can’t breathe, there is so much dust and it’s so dark. She has no idea where she is or why she was there. She wakes up gasping for air and can’t get it out of her head. She just wants to know who she was, if there is a family missing her, just any sort of memory but there is nothing and she is beyond frustrated.

Keenan decides to start doing things outside of the hotel she has been living in since being released from the hospital after the accident. She joins a running club and becomes friends with Troy who heads it all up. He introduces her to his friends and she starts to have a social life. She ends up at a club where she is trying to learn her likes and dislikes especially with the opposite sex.

Lincoln “Rush” Moore is a former MMA fighter and now owner of the club where Keenan walks in. He sees her immediately and can’t help but go talk to her. They have an intense moment then go their separate ways but it isn’t over by a long shot.

I tend to like the tiny details and I wish we had learned more about what happened to Keenan and anyone around her the day of her injury. There were some things I wish Ms. Ann had touched on more than she did but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I will be recommending this book to my friends.
