Despite his debilitating social anxiety, Royce Delaney has a great job and a gorgeous girlfriend. He decides against taking an experimental medication designed to make people like him more outgoing, but when he walks in on his lady loudly enjoying another man, he throws caution to the wind and hopes the new drug will make him "normal." Only it does much more than obliterate his social fears. He's capable of things he knows are scientifically impossible, but with his similarly altered friends, and his new contact at the NSA, Royce and his kind may very well be the next evolution of the human race, eager to dominate all the rest.
Mesmer has a very talented imagination. Royce is the perfect example of someone who could really be like this. OCD to the max. The characters in Eden come to life. Stivers and Leland are exceptional. Want to take your imagination on a fast and bumpy ride? I strongly recommend this book. Well done Mesmer!
Up to the usual standard that we have come to expect from Jacob Mesmer, I thought that the story line was intriguing, however I found that the development was too quick and simplistic. But still an enjoyable read
