Her life as she had known it changed; lost all direction and meaning when William passed away a week before he was supposed to come home to stay. She was lost without him, and their son would never meet his father. Her heart grieved until Aiden appeared at a birthday party that she was helping host. His presence bringing a situation that would turn her life upside down and inside out. Trouble followed him and his daughter from the marriage that was all but legally over. Cassie was pushed towards him from her family that thought it was time for her to move forward in her life. She wants nothing more than for Aiden to vanish. Wishes that her life had remained as she had known it before. She blamed Aiden for everything that was going wrong with her life. Would she be able to find herself as Aiden gives her his heart freely?
I enjoyed reading this book. However, at times, I did become frustrated with Cassie and her overwhelming emotions. That part dragged on a little too long for me. Overall, I would recommend the book to other readers. The story line was captivating enough to hold my attention. Good book! Check it out.
I think the storyline was a good one, but it wasn't handled as well as it could have been. Sadly, the editing was just awful. "Ain't" was used far too many times and its usage didn't seem to fit.
