I was enjoying this one a lot. The writing was great and the characters enjoyable. Then at 40% the hero
Sorry but NO, just NO. They are not technically together, but they are both alone at a cabin and the attraction from both sides has been played up...just gag worthy IMO and added NOTHING to the story other than to make the hero look like a disgusting asshole. Such a shame...

So where did this author come from and why havent I had more from her! This was an excellent read. Not the normal MC – well sort of but not.
Colt Johnson received the nightmare of a phone call that no one ever wants to receive. Leaving his career of the potential of the NFL he heads home. His mother needs him and his anger drives him. Murdered to the point of not being recognized he will find the person responsible for his fathers death and he will make them pay. Even if its an army of men he will put each and every one in the ground. He never wanted the life of the Demons’ but now that his father is gone its all he has his eyes set on because once he is patched in they can find the men that killed the man who was everything to him.
Maci Newman barely escaped her fate that night. She wasnt supposed to be in the store that night but she had to stop. She eventually quit looking over her shoulder until today. He asked for her station at the diner. He is coming for her again and she needs protection. The Demons of Destruction might be her only hope. Maybe with the information she has she can trade her safety for what she knows.
Colt and Maci are thrown into a situation that they both are leery of. However she was told to go and listen to the man standing in front of her and to not tell him anything. Scared and alone she has no choice but to do as she is told. Revenge may come with a price for both. Being thrown together may be the bigger price.
I loved this book. This was a completely different MC read and I loved every minute .. did I already say that? It was the twist of situations that made it stand out from the other MC reads. Colt’s character is written in a fantastic manner. The man is protection and loyal yet guarded. He is snarky yet humble. Maci was a tough cookie when she needed to be and surviving the way she did .. plus how smart is she to look up the information she had to have to survive. BRILLIANT writing!
Give me some more and yes there is more .. there is a cliffy of sorts involving one of the secondary characters Tucker. The worst part .. its says not until Spring of 2017! WHAT!!!! Just no .. NO NO NO.... that is how hooked I am on this series and how much I love these characters.
Colt’s mother Anna was the mom we all want. Although we only get a small glimpse of her I loved her and there is something on the horizon involving happiness headed her way. Hank .. loved him. Tex .. loved him. Vanessa .. dug her ... she is cool. Kelly and Jess .. want to punch them. Oh and Storm .. loved him!
That about wraps this one up! Go grab it. Thank you Thank you for the ARC! You are killing me waiting for Tucker’s story but I will wait ..not happily.... HAHA!

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Jacqueline M Sinclair. The woman is a brilliant writer and her decision to dive into the MC genre is one I'm glad she finally made.
This first book in the Demons of Destruction MC series is raw, gritty, sexy and has a cast of characters I can't wait to learn more about. Colt was a hero I loved, and his pain and anger were so very real to me. Maci was both sweet and sassy, and I loved how her story unfolded. From the first sentence, I couldn't put this one down.

This was the first time I've read any books by this author and I'm blown away. Excellent writing style and character development. I want to read more!!!
Colt Johnston is in college and being looked at by scouts for the NFL when he receives a phone call that changes his life. The unspeakable happens and his mother needs him home to avenge his father's murder. He goes home to the only family he knows, the Demons and with the Demons riding at his back he is set on revenge. Colt's father never wanted the MC life for Colt but with his father being a patched member he joins the only ones that understand the need for revenge.
Maci Newman is a typical college student that had a part-time job at a diner. After working a double she stops at a store and that's when her life changes. She finally emerges from her trailer after her ordeal when he asks to sit in her section at the diner. She panics and does the one thing she thinks she has to do, ask the Demons for refuge.
Colt and Maci get thrown together in an uncomfortable situation, uncomfortable as in spending time in a secluded cabin just the two of them. Tempers run high especially when Maci is keeping a key piece of the investigation from Colt. Will Maci tell Colt her secrets before he finds out?
I can't wait for the series to continue with Tucker's story. Sadly I will have to wait until 2017!!! I can't get over that I've never heard of this author before. I'm hooked and will be getting everything by this author in the near future.

What I loved about this book is that I am on the edge of my seat wanting the next book. This is the first book of Jacqueline’s that I have read but I can 100% say that I will be the first in line to one click/read the next book. As Jacqueline is a new author to me, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from page one I was gripped and I finished this book within an hour of starting it. I loved how dedicated to revenge Colt was. As someone that was heading for a big football career, to give that up and build himself stronger to seek revenge on his father’s murder, showed how loveable he was. Yes I can imagine you thinking ‘’why the hell is she describing someone that wants to murder someone as lovable’’ but for me I seen Colt as a young man that lost the man he looked up to and loved with all of his heart. For him to want to seek revenge on the evil person that took that away from him, I was all for getting vengeance for his father. Maci, bless her heart is just trying to get through life one day at a time and then suddenly she is thrown into danger, loses the place she calls home and is wanted by the police. All because she wanted to shower at a public restroom when her own trailer pipes had burst. But when a stranger selflessly steps in and saves her from an attack, and loses his life, Maci tries to get justice for him and the truth of what happened to him to his family. To let his family knew that he died being her hero, her saviour. What she didn’t expect was to find love on her search for safety. Colt and Maci were perfect together, and I loved the cute bond she had with Colt’s mother, Anne. That conversation when Anne learned what her husband died doing and the chat between her and Maci had me all emotional and tearing up a little. I seriously cannot wait for the next book in the Demon’s of destruction series.

After reading Jacqueline Sinclair's Steele Standing Series, I knew I had a new author to follow. With Colt, a new series depicting a motorcycle club, I found an author that is very diverse in writing different genres and will now be an automatic 1-click for me!
This story started out with a graphic and gripping scene of Maci waking up in a pool of blood on top of a body in a restroom. She had been attacked after work and nearly raped, a man saved her but ended up dead.
Colt, a young, talented college football star, upon hearing of the tragic death of his father, leaves the prospect of entering the NFL draft to exact revenge upon those that took his father from him and his mother.
“Make them pay.”
Colt petitions the motorcycle club his father belonged to become a member so that he could find who killed his father.
Maci was too terrified to go to the police after her attack and is living day to day, trying to remain invisible. But when it seems as though her attacker has found her, she realizes there is only one place she has to go to, The Demons Motorcycle Club.
Sound intriguing? Maci and Colt are sent away by the Prez to a remote cabin while he investigates her story. The intense sexual tension is too much for them.
There was no part of her body he didn’t set on fire with his tongue, his lips, creating a slow, methodical burn that branded her soul as his.
When they finally find out who the killer is, Colt leaves her to take care of it. She realizes she needs to move on.
Does Colt get revenge for his father? Does Maci stay or does she run far away from heartbreak?

5 Well deserved Stars
Colt is the first book in Jacqueline's new MC Series and it is the first book of hers that I have read an to say I wasn't disappointed was an understatement. This first book follows the story of Colt and Maci and from page 1 I just knew that this was gonna be a book that I was gonna have to read in one sitting. It's no secret that I love MC books and I was hooked with this one from the very start. The drama started almost straight away with Maci being in the wrong place at the wrong time which in turn sets her on a path that changes her life and sets her on a journey she would never forget. Colt is a college football player whose life is changed with one phone call. When these two meet sparks fly straight away and you just know they will be dynamite together.
This book has everything you expect from an MC book. It has drama, sizzling chemistry, hunky MC hotties, action and hot sex. This story just flowed and I found myself transported into the MC world as i got lost in the words. I loved the all the characters although I did have a few GRRRRRR moments with the club whores. I just couldn't get enough and I really loved Maci, Colt and their story and I can't wait to see what the Author has instore for the rest of the members of the MC.

The book starts with Maci in a really bad situation. She comes to, covered in blood, a dead biker on top of her, and scared to death that the man who killed him will be back to finish her off too. So she runs, understandably so.
Colt is about to be drafted to the NFL when he gets the call that his dad, a member of the Demons of Destruction MC has been murdered. With that call, his whole world changes. No longer interested in a career in football, he heads home; he’ll take care of his mum, bury his dad, then with the brothers he intends to join, he will get revenge.
A year later, Colt is a fully patched member but is still no closer to getting his revenge. Still scared, Maci realises the killer has found her. She needs help, and after some investigating, the only way she thinks she’s going to get through this in one piece, is to turn to the club of the slain biker.
With the action starting right from the get go, Colt and Maci were a great couple with some good chemistry, nicely done sexy time scenes and the perfect amount of MC action. I really enjoyed this book. I’ve never read Jacqueline M. Sinclair before but I’m certainly going to be sticking with this series. I’m looking forward to Tucker’s book next. I give Colt 5 stars.

Maci Newman had the answered The Demons of Destruction MC needed. It was about one of their member murdered by another club. She needed protection they needed the information.
Colt Johnson was on top of the world. He was just steps away from the playing for the NFL when he gets the call that changed his life forever. His dad was murdered in a roadside bathroom.
Oh man this book had me on pins and needles from page one. Maci came from nothing, and now she is running for life. I would say she is a strong bada$$ woman. I mean come on she walks into an MC clubhouse unarmed with information that they could have just tortures it out of her. Colt is an amazing person. He gave up the chance to be in the NFL to get his revenge on his father's murderer. I don't think he expected Maci to completely blow his world apart. He had tunnel vision for a reason. She was the woman who came from very little with no family. He came from the MC world and a loving family. Total opposites but together they are fire. Granted they are hot and cold throughout the book and she kept secrets that were killing her but that's the price she was willing to to take to get protection. In just the little amount of time they were together you could tell their feelings for each other were genuine.

He gave up the chance to be in the NFL to get his revenge on his father's murderer. I don't think he expected Maci to completely blow his world apart. He had tunnel vision for a reason. She was the woman who came from very little with no family. He came from the MC world and a loving family. Total opposites but together they are fire. Granted they are hot and cold throughout the book and she kept secrets that were killing her but that's the price she was willing to to take to get protection. In just the little amount of time they were together you could tell their feelings for each other were genuine.

colt what can i say but damn that man is sex personified. when colt leaves a football career behind to join the demons (a motorcycle gang) after his dad gets brutally murdered he wants to find out who did this to his dad on orders from him mom who by way i fell in love with she is amazing.
in walks maci this girl had me from page one after witnessing the murder of colt's dad and nearly getting killed herself she runs to the demons to help her run from this murderer.
when the head mc tells colt to take maci up to the cabin for a week so they can try and find out who the guy is this is where the story really kicked in for me. colt has no idea that maci is the reason why they are there in the first place.
its a cracking read and fantastic story can't wait to read Tucker's story next year. couldn't fault this book or this author will definitely be reading more.

What a great book! This is my first book by this author but it definitely won't be my last. Not only was Colt a great MC read but the writing was wonderful! I loved the story and the characters are great. This is the first book in what is going to be a terrific series. I honestly can't wait for more.
This was Colt and Maci's story, it was original and I absolutely loved it. I am definitely going to go check out other books written by this author I really liked her writing style. Wonderful book!

Maci Newman was in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and the ensuing tragedy that happened changed her whole life. She lives in quite a bit of fear now, since she never told anyone what happened that night. His mother made him promise to make them pay for it, so he joined his Dad's MC instead. Any hints of leads never panned out, until the day that a beautiful woman came to Club by herself. His president has him taking her to their cabin to keep an eye on her, while they make sure her info is correct. But Colt didn't see being so attracted to her, and he's doing everything he can to stay away from her. But being in a small cabin, that's impossible to do, so he decided he's done keeping his hands off of her. Yes folks, I fell hard for Colt, even when he made some serious douche mistakes that had me cursing. The character development is great, with a colorful cast of characters that make the Club up. I really loved Maci, although she frustrated me when she overlooked Colt's douchiness too quickly. But their flammable chemistry finally EXPLODED into fiery flames of sexy scene goodness that will leave piles of ashes instead of panties in the aftermath. I really enjoyed Jacqueline M. SInclair's talented writing style that had me all kinds of jacked up cover to cover. She started the story out with a bang, and I barely caught my breath from the fast paced goodness. Her twists and turns made for a storm of f-bombs that needed a severe weather alert going out in my neighborhood. Colt by Jacqueline M. Sinclair is the first book in her new series Demons of Destruction.
Colt leaves his college football career behind just days before the draft after learning of his fathers murder. He wants revenge and he knows the only way to get it is to join his father’s MC. His only purpose is to avenge his father.
The problem… there are absolutely no clues as to who did it.
Maci is just trying to get through life after the death of both her parents. With the money she received after her mothers death plus her job as a waitress, she has managed to find a small trailer to live in while she puts herself through nursing school.
After working a double shift she stops at the local store to use the restroom when she is attacked by a biker. Thanks to the help of an unknown man, she is saved. The same could not be said for the man. She wakes up in a pool of blood with the man who saved her dead.
Maci feels her life is in danger so she goes to the only place she thinks can protect her, the Demons of Destruction.
It’s there that she meets Colt. Colt knows that she has something to do with his father’s murder, but he can’t figure out what. He is tasked with babysitting Maci while his fellow club members check out her story.
Neither were expecting to be attracted to each other.
This book has a much different tone to it then Jacqueline’s other stories. It’s much darker and a much more graphic in nature. But no less enjoyable. I was a little lost when I first started reading it, but it didn’t take long for me to catch up.
There was never a point in this book where I was bored. It started off with a bang, even though I was confused, and it just kept going.
I loved most of the characters, Tucker just seemed like the biggest jokester. I loved him. Colt was swoon worthy even though he did some pretty rotten things to keep his distance from Maci. Speaking of Maci I loved her spunk. She did what she had to do to get by. The other ladies were awesome as well. Jess was even a clever adversary, and I love how she was handled in the end.
I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this story. Maci is in the wrong place at the wrong time. She had no choice, and we find out why later. I don’t want to give that away or why it happened and played out that way. Colt is an up and coming NFL prospect with everything to look forward to. He receives a shocking phone call and everything changes. He is driven by rage and revenge. The last thing he wants to do is what the president is asking. Its for his own good.
Colt is not what you would expect as a member of The Demons MC. Maci is not a shy reserved girl we mostly read about. She is different. She is strong, smart and beautiful in a bad living place at the moment. She takes the bull by the horns and walks right in the the MC compound to see if she can get protection with the information she has. Who would do that? I know I never would. She feels it’s her only options. What was great is her reaction when she passes through and she is watching what is going on. Her boss is a jerk. I wanted to hit him. Colt. I liked Colt a lot. He joins the MC like I said for revenge. He has to prospect just like anyone else. He is strong and well written and he cares for Maci even when he doesn’t get it. The women who love their men were also good and took Maci under their wing. Jess and Kelly. Well you always have that one female and that is Jess in this book. Kelly is by omission to make herself not look bad Anna, Colts mom, loved her, she just wraps up Maci. Tex, Hank, =awesome. I even like the Old Lady Vanessa, she was like a mother to Maci. I can’t wait to read more of this series. There is a cliffhanger of sorts that sounds like it will be the next book, that would be Tucker.

What a spin on an MC read, and it was one I really enjoyed.
Colt Johnson is sitting in the crosshairs of the NFL until he receives devastating news that has him closing the doors on a dream of being a pro football player to being a prospect of an MC… Talk about changes!
Maci Newman, survived tragedy only to find herself looking over her shoulder waiting for the one man to come and end her life due to what she knows.
When Maci chooses to hand over the information she has that will out the killer that Colt is seeking his revenge on, the one he has given everything up for and in turn finding his true place in life, this only leads us to an explosive turn of events.
The rollercoaster of emotions this story entails had me turning the pages and having to know what would happen next.
The characters are so well written; I couldn’t put it down. Maci is this strong heroine and Colt is an alpha male with in your face loyalty. I found that this truly had a different take on the MC lifestyle and I completely loved each page. I can’t wait to see what’s next with this author as I have come to really enjoy her books!

I love MC books, and I'm wondering why I've never read any of this author's books before now! I loved it. While I wish there was a little more angst, it had everything I like in a book. Hot MC guys of course, hot as hell sex scenes, drama and some action of course.
Colt Johnson is a college football player on the verge of being signed when he gets a phone call that changes everything.
Maci hasn't had the best luck in life, but she does what she can. A quick stop at the local store changes her life, and not for the best.
I don't want to give too much away, but I can say I loved the way this book started off with a bang and kept me reading through the night. I haven't had a book keep me up like that for a long time. The words just flowed, and I loved the whole story line.
The characters were amazing, loved Maci and Colt. They just fit perfectly, even if they didn't realize it.

Seriously what could be better than a book by Jacqueline Sinclair? Oh I know the fact that she has dived into the MC romance world which is one that I am a sucker for. She is giving the best of both worlds with that. Jacqueline does an amazing job writing her books and giving us stories that we can put down and this one is no exception. I am really looking forward to the next in the series. The characters all were ones that I just know are going to have some really great stories.
The chemistry and the draw that these two characters were feeling is something that will keep you interested. But knowing their back stories and everything that she is secretly going through is something that will keep you engrossed. She knows it isn't the smartest idea falling for Colt. The secrets she is keeping could and probably will change how he feels towards her but she can't help herself. Meanwhile, Colt isn't wanting to settle down with anyone. He is on a mission to get revenge and she doesn't fit anywhere into his plans but he is finding it harder and harder to resist her.

I am so in love with this book by Ms. Sinclair! MC novels are one of my top favorite genres, so I'm always excited when I get chosen to review. This book has everything I love.....brotherhood, sexy strong hero, likeable heroine, plot line that doesn't disappoint.
Colt and Maci are just perfect for each other. They are just what each other needs and never knew they needed. I love when an author can bring together two characters like that. Colt and Maci have both been through hard times in life so the fact that they can bring comfort to each other is really a good thing.
If you're a fan of MC romance, I am begging you to pick this book up! You won't be disappointed.

This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and my word, it will not be the last! This is the story of fiery Maci and sexy Colt. When Colt returns home from a career in NFL, as his father has been murdered, he has no choice but to join his father’s MC in order to get revenge on the killer. Maci was in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and now lives in fear. Needing help desperately, she has no choice but to approach the MC for protection. The attraction between these two is instant and intense. This story is full of twists, suspense, excitement, and love.
This is an excellently written story, and flowed seamlessly. I look forward to reading more from this author, and I recommend her work for all MC lovers.

This story starts right off and doesn't stop. Well written, sexy and sweet. Maci and Colt were meant to be, considering his dad saved her life. A little drama, and a little violence, but nothing too dark or over the top. Just a nice MC romance.

You will want to devour this book in one sitting if you love MC books. I do gotta say though even if you don't like MC books, you will enjoy this one (I hope). From page one you are hooked and just hope that your electronic device doesn't die with 13 minutes left like mine did. uhh I couldn't get the juice quick enough to finish this book.
Colt's life changed quickly. He was going to the NFL; however, that dreamed changed when he found out his dad was murdered. He made the only solution and joined his dad's brothers (Demons MC) to get answers on who murdered his dad.
Maci's life changed just as quickly. She was caught up in this murder and she needed protection. Her only solution was to go to the MC for help. Could they help her and she help them? Only if you read this will you find out. haha
What both Maci and Colt didn't expect was to spark feelings for each other when they were thrown together trying to protect Maci and solve who the man was who killed his father. Can Colt be with Maci knowing that she is the reason his dad was killed? Once you know the story on how he died you will be shocked and just thankful that his mom understood and was actually proud of her husband for this.
There are always hood rats in the MC that we loathe, but Jess is down right deceitful. Like the MC isn't going through enough at the moment. Good for Colt on his actions and for Maci for smarting up. I loved how this ended and cannot wait to read about Tucker cause that story may be just as crazy even though they are completely different stories, but once you start reading this book you will want to read any book relating to the Demons MC.

Colt by Jacqueline M. Sinclair is the first book in the Demons Of Destruction series and it was a good start to a new MC series. I said good, not great but let me just say that it was only a little shy of being great. I think it has new series syndrome and all the kinks aren’t fully worked out yet. It had a couple of issues that I have a feeling will be resolved in future books which I can’t wait to read.
Colt and Maci will quickly have you interested into their story. There is that mix of danger, angst, secrets, lies and sex that works well to tell their story. The chemistry between them is hot and explosive and I think Maci was Colt’s perfect match in every way. She may come across as weak at times but underneath that is sass, attitude and backbone. It may take her some time to show those things but I loved it when she did. Colt, well you will want to throat and nut punch him a couple of times but I couldn’t help but like him throughout the book, even when he was being an ass.
I plan on keeping my eye on this series, if done right, it will be a definite must read!

Colt by Jacqueline M. Sinclair is the first book in the Demons Of Destruction series and it was a good start to a new MC series. I said good, not great but let me just say that it was only a little shy of being great. I think it has new series syndrome and all the kinks aren’t fully worked out yet. It had a couple of issues that I have a feeling will be resolved in future books which I can’t wait to read.
Colt and Maci will quickly have you interested into their story. There is that mix of danger, angst, secrets, lies and sex that works well to tell their story. The chemistry between them is hot and explosive and I think Maci was Colt’s perfect match in every way. She may come across as weak at times but underneath that is sass, attitude and backbone. It may take her some time to show those things but I loved it when she did. Colt, well you will want to throat and nut punch him a couple of times but I couldn’t help but like him throughout the book, even when he was being an ass.
I plan on keeping my eye on this series, if done right, it will be a definite must read!

I enjoyed this book.
A Guy leaving his dream of becoming a pro NFL Player to find his dad's killer. He decides to join his dad's MC Club to track the killer and get his revenge.
Maci is the one that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She witnessed what happened with Colt's dad. So she decides to go to the MC to ask for protection in exchange for helping them to catch the killer of their brother.
Colt in in charge of keeping her safe, and being alone with him at a cabin in the middle of nowhere not such a great idea as the attraction between them is about to get out of control.
But will Colt want to be with her when he finds out it is indirectly her fault that his dad was killed. And will he be able to commit to something long term?
A Good start to a new MC Series, the chemistry between Colt and Maci was off the charts hot and can't wait to read about the other guys in the MC

I received an ARC of Colt in exchange for my honest opinion. Now that I got the formalities out of the way, let me get to the good stuff. Reviewing Colt. I am a die hard fan of MC romances and this one does not disappoint. I was hooked from the start of the story. Maci and Colt were perfect together. I couldn't put the book down for wanting to know what would happen between the two of them. I needed to know if Colt would find out Maci's deep dark secret and how he would react when or if he found out.
I would recommend this book to readers who are a fan of MC romances. I think this is a great start to a new series and I can't wait to read the next one! I would rate this book 4.5 stars!

Maci and Colt thrown together through tragedy; I loved her fire, and his sexy snark. Exciting twisty-turns, with an intense dose of dirty hotness....MC goodness at it's best! I am now completely convinced there is no genre that Jacqueline Sinclair can't do, and do it well. I can't wait for more, and will eagerly devour this series! I was so happy to voluntarily review this book.

This book was very interesting and a new author for me to read. I enjoyed reading Colt (Demons of Destruction MC book 1 for this was a different take on the MC world for which I love to read. The author did a good job on creating a good story and the characters were also likable and enjoyable to read. Colt Johnson was one step away from the NFL when a phone call came in for him that changed everything for him and his family. He joins his father's MC the Demons of Destruction once he returns home. He meets Maci who is looking for protection from the MC. Can't wait to read more in the future.

Great story...waiting for Tucker!
