Linda Hall de Gonzalez, a fine teacher with a keen sense of humour, keeps you smiling as she leads you through the minefield of Spanish grammar. This is not a language book in the conventional sense, but it will help you over the obstacles that put many people off learning Spanish.
I've finally finished this! Been reading it in tiny, sporadic installments, and I finally did it! It's not a guide for learning Spanish, but it's useful for the English speaker living in Spain, as it gives cultural insights as well as linguistical ones. It's full of curious phrases, more or less organized, but without an index or any real way of looking up a particular phrase. It's a bit dated now, and the line drawings make me want to vomit.
