This series of books is one of the best and most thorough educational and HANDS-ON history books/series for students!
The resource is very helpful for parents/educators as well.

The book discusses everything in terms of the world predating the Ancient Greeks, as well as subjects/ideals of Ancient Greeks including the mental health, physical health, Alexander the Great, math, politics, money, writing, philosophy, war and arts.
The thing I love about each of these books is that it offers up pointer idea sparkers for kids "Think about that?" kind of moments that show an unbiased opinion, which hopefully the kid still has when engaging in this resource, and if not, reopening their mind to new ideas.

The book features 40 (as the title indicates) activities including greek yo-yo's (yes they did that), a sculpture of Mother Gaia, creating a labyrinth, a DIY fresco, a DIY trojan horse, rapping and creating your own Odyssey, the Greek Alphabet, learning Pig Latin, Designing a Coin, Pentathlon/Olympics, constellations, monochord, pottery, a symposium, sculpture and the masks of comedy/tragedy!

Really fun and engaging resources for kids and/or adults!

Great unit study material. All the information you need is included in the book. It's in chronological order from the beginning of the civilization to the time they were conquered by the Romans. Fun projects, good info.
