Jack Noble is dead. A ghost. At least that is what the world believes. Truth is, he's been hiding out on the Greek Island of Crete for six months.

Three people know Jack's secret. One is with him. Another needs him back in the U.S. The third wants him dead.

Six months is a long time for a guy like Jack to be out of action. His edge has eroded. He is contemplating leaving his old life, slipping away, disappearing for good. But Jack realizes he can't hide forever. He made a mess, now he has to clean it up. He will repay his debt.

Or die trying.

Fans of Tom Clancy, Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp, and Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne will enjoy the Jack Noble series.

This is # 6 of the Noble series.

You don't want to miss any of these books. So much intrigue packed into each story.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with so much happening, but before the final page, everything is brought to life and explained.

Whew, I'm always waiting to get to the next one.

Suspenseful.

Captivating characters, convert operations. Lost count how many people got killed. Terrorist don't just come in by sea, air or land, they are among us. They are working for the all the two, three or four letter agencies, maybe even appointed or elected officials.

Consistent action and continue character development of Jack, the main character, and those around him are why I enjoy this series.

I’m on the fence about this book, and previous ones. It takes me ages to get through one book, especially this one. Unusual for me, that normally I finish a book of this size in a day or two, three. Not two weeks. I can’t really find anything wrong with it. Just boring, I think. I don’t connect with Jack as with Bear, for instance. Bear seems to be a real person, even in this book where he is a minor character. Always rooting for him to win, sharing his ups and downs. Jack is a remote character that one reads about as one might in a newspaper article. The ending wasn’t really a surprise, nothing really unexpected. I will attack the next one…maybe it will be better.

Contrived, forced, awful

A poorly edited forced novel of superhuman ‘ghosts’ who are constantly caught being blindsided, rarely sleep or eat, wrapped in a farcical James Bondesque villain feature with absolutely gawd awful editing. When read with a skewed eye, if developed, this could have been a great humorous book, Pierre-the lame crybaby killer, Jasmine-more drugs and guns, Bear-Mr Concussion with no side affects, Jack-the lost assassin who can’t even shoot straight…

If the author put more than 5 minutes of thought into the plot that would be astounding.

This is a lengthy story combining two and three storylines that later somewhat converge but not in a believable way. Very confusing to keep track. This author has potential to be a bestseller with international recognition but still writes amateurish. His plots are convoluted. He names many weapons that Jack accesses but then ends up using an opponent’s weapon. After reading many novels in this genre, he’s not impressive intellectually, l will continue to read the series because many of the books in the series exceed 400 pages.

Captivating

There is something about the Jack Noble series that keeps me coming back for more. I find myself disappointed with just about every person he knows, including those of high positions of government trust. People keep killing each other when agreements or contracts would be better. Girlfriends turn out to be insincere. And yet, I keep coming back for more. Maybe I'm just looking for some sunshine in the dark world in which he lives. I'll bet you will too!

Jack Noble comes back from the dead for revenge and validation.

After escape from a Russian prison (as a dead man), Jack embarks on a mission to retrieve. top secret documents and clear his name as a traitor.
To do so he must clandestinely travel the halls of political power and criminal leadership to succeed.
Lots of unknown with plenty of twists and turns, including the unforeseen ending.
Great read.

Noble Retribution

Jack is paired with Jasmine by Frank at the SIS. He is trying to find out who leaked the documents and who has stolen them again. Every lead leads to the death of his source. He finally learns who it is and has him in his sites when he's surprised. Clarissa saves him but she tells him because of obligations they can't be together right now. Bear and the girl are reunited and it looks as if Jack and Bear may retire.

We are shown what a real writer is capable of with this page turner

I enjoyed this follow on and clean up of the storyline up till now. I must commend LT on an intriguing and no lose ends, well almost no lose ends, as it appears Jack is still curious about certain people as they drag him back in after he tries to get out.
So on to his next chapter of life. I can't wait to read what is going to happen next.

Noble Retribution. L.T. Ryan

Everyone thinks 's Jack Noble is dead. Documents he stole and turned over to someone else have come back to haunt him. Then their recovered and stolen again. Disaster all around. This is a story of deceit and treachery to extremely high levels in the presidents inner circle. Extremely fast paced and full of action. Enjoyed immensely!

Couldn't put it down.

Noble Retribution is the second L. T Ryan book I have read. It could have been two or three books, such was the length and complexity of action and suspense. Great twists and turns. I lost sleep and loved every minute of it. Two more of his books sit on my desk. More lost sleep ahead.

"He's Back! On Another Fast-Action Thrill Ride"

Jack Noble is dead, for six months, so why are people trying to still find him? No, not really dead, only in hiding! This is another fast moving, mind-blowing novel which takes you to Russia, France, Greece, and the USA. Get ready for a roller-coaster ride of action and intrigue. Highly recommend.

Friend or Foe

Perhaps it is the nature of the business but Jack continues to find friends where none should be and, more significantly, foes where none should be...close to him. Jack always seems to win more than than he loses but never without scars. A good read with more than a few twists.

Excellent the old man is dead and Charles is not far behind. Frank finally decided to let Jack retire. The Jasmine ending sucked but made sense from the plot angle. Bear and Pieerealmost took care of Charles. Pierre needs to partner with Ja k. Bear needs to find out is there is anything with Kat. Jack can wait for Clarrisa. Great book! 10 stars. Thanks, Carl Clause

Great reading once again

Who do you trust? Can your loyalty be compromised? If so, is it real?
I thought this was one of J T Ryan's better reads. Granted, not being able to figure the "main thread" is frustrating but doesn't keep me from wanting more!
I'm searching for the next Jack Noble Book.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a "strong, but vulnerable" Good Guy.

Don’t Bother

Noble Retribution is a muddled and confusing mess. I have read several of L. T. Ryan’s previous books starring Jack Noble as the lead character, and I should have stopped earlier. This one has convinced me. The characters in Noble Retribution are cardboard non-entities, the plot so elaborate it defies understanding.

Very Interesting

Now this was a good book. It kept me from getting a good night sleep. If you want to read a book with a lot of action. This one is for you. Jack Noble and friends at their best. Read it you'll like it I promise.

Jack is back from a 6 month hiatus and the whole gang is together for a short time. His love affair with Clarissa is on again for awhile and his working with Bear is good for one mission. The enemy was close to Jack and he did not realize it until it was almost too late. A great read and series.

Good read

The more I read L.T.Ryan’s novels the more I enjoy the suspense and the twists and turns. Sometimes you see it coming sometimes not. The characters are well built and believable, but the shoot outs seem a little hard to believe sometimes.

Hard going

I've enjoyed all the previous books, but found this one hard going. Convoluted tale that was sometimes difficult to follow. It wasn't made any better by the poor grammar and lazy proof reading. Spellchecker isn't the answer to everything.

Wild adventure

Very good read. Will read the next book in the series. Jack will some day run out of lives. A cat has nine, but he has used more than that. L. T. Ryan ha a wild imagination.

Not as "hold your breath" as last book

Still a page turner. Maybe the editors are pushing the author to hurry up the next book? It takes time to craft the story lines and the them all together..
