I love this book. Very well written! It starts from even before Muhammad (S) is born. It goes into the population movement in that area. It's a succinct book, so it doesn't go into great details that I haven't read before. Nonetheless it's a great read for those just learning about Muhammad (S) or those interested in a good compilation of his (S) life. I am learning a lot from this book too.

I have found this book to be precise and to the point. The author strives to provide a comprehensive view of the overall life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Moreover, the author also highlights the pre-Islamic and pre birth era of prophet Muhammad (SAW) to provide better understanding. Additionally, the verses from the Quran with references are also mentioned, which is terrific, as it enables the reader to gain a better understanding. I would recommend this book to people who love to read Islamic books.

Very comprehensive and easy reading of the life of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH (Peace Be Upon Him).

As a Muslim I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the beginnings of his life and how he brought about the values and teachings of Islam. Key moments of friendship and trials are mentioned up to the point in the book without ever over complicating the meanings behind the events.

Some verses from the Holy Quran appropriate to the events are included in the book, translated to English which is good for those who do not understand the Arabic language. The end of the book includes brief but interesting information and references to additional reading material that was used for the research on the topic of the life of Muhammad PBUH.

Highly recommended for readers of Islamic books as well as readers of religious texts in general, "The Life of Muhammad" is a great source of information on the Prophet PBUH's important life and times, very well written and easy for all readers to understand.

An easy to read biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). May not be entirely comprehensive as there were some details not mentioned (in authentic hadiths). Ideal for a quick read. References are provided at the end of the book.

Just reading to understand what is the big deal about "the prophet" who inspires religious radacalism, fanaticsm, and a movement of murderous acts against God's people.
