Dr. Junkenstein's Monster The Overwatch Halloween event kicks off with an all-new comic! During Overwatch's annual Halloween party, Reinhardt regales his friends with a scary the fable of Dr. Junkenstein. Reinhardt swears the tale is true...and perhaps he's right.
Rewritten review; old review incorporated into new
In the ninth issue of Overwatch Digital Comics, Halloween is coming... and so is Junkenstein...
When I first read this back in March, I read it twice. Coming back to it now... I read it twice. Again. I've read it four times. Do I really like this? Yes.
I love this more than I love most things in my life. A warm Halloween story, being told by Reinhardt, and stunning graphics to go with it. A well known story retold once more, but with originality, and some characters that I love within the franchise. I loved this so much I can't even explain.
The art is done absolutely beautifully, the story is told well and is funny, and it's just an all round 5 stars comic for me ✨👻
Overwatch #9: Junkenstein (Overwatch Digital Comics #9) by Michael Chu, Matt Burns, Gary Shuko, Blizzard Entertainment is an awesome digital comic and in this episode the gang is telling scary Halloween stories. It is a fun episode with great pics and easy to read fonts! Sure to please all the fans...Great job!
I really enjoyed the art work that went with this issue of the overwatch. I think changing artists depending on the type of story can say a lot about what is going in with in that issue
It’s a Halloween Party, and the guys are sharing scary stories.
McCree and Reinhardt are the leads in this one.
Reinhardt relays the tale of Dr. Jamison Junkenstein in Aldersbrunn, a small town in the Black Forest.
Dr. Junkenstein specializes in producing lifelike automatons. But he does not get along well with the local Lord. The good doctor proceeds to attempt to animate his most impressive creation yet.
It proves to be a frustrating endeavor, but Jamison gets some assistance from a local witch…
Since all of the Overtwatch comics are about 10 pages long I'll only be doing mini reviews for them.
This comic was more of the original Overwatch group and this just makes me happy. The story was a great look at how everyone interacted with each other, and there were some funny parts to it.
Pick this up if you're an Overwatch fan, or just want a somewhat silly and short Halloween story.
A Halloween story told by a international hero. How sweet! This story didn't have a lot to the plot or story line, but it was a fun read. The art and detail the author put into the story makes if feel like a cartoon, book, and real life all at the same time. ( And, it has my favorite characters.) :)
The facts: This is a story within a story. Not everyone has an explanation of their Halloween skin. Mercy is great.
That's all you really know about it. There isn't a point to telling this besides just being a fun segue into whatever the game was doing for Halloween that year. Great for a one-off.
