Perfect for the fall pumpkin carving season, it is important to note Halloween is not mentioned for those families not celebrating that day. Instead a young child is introduced to the changes in nature in fall, visiting a farm to get a pumpkin and what design should be cut in the pumpkin. It's nice there is a blank page at the end for a child to draw designs too. One thing noticed by a young child is the omission of the Life is Good statement on One's green shirt three times. See if your child picks up on that feature. I received a copy from the author for review.
