This is the story of Ace and Carolyn. Ace is a billionaire, who is back in town after two years, amid rumours about his wife’s death. Carolyn owns a boutique, and is a gossip columnist. When these two meet there is an instant and intense spark between them.
This is a hot and steamy read. I love this author’s work as she always has the ability to keep me in intrigued and captivated throughout her novels. I highly recommend Amelia’s work for all, and cannot wait to read more.’

Dirty Rumor is another perfect read in this fantastic series.
So full of suspense, sizzling hot chemistry, and deep emotions, it's another must-read that shouldn't be missed.
Carolyn and Ace's story literally kept me on the edge of my seat and reading as fast as I could to find out what would happen next. This book is addictive, absolutely riveting and hard to put down. I had to read it in one go.

Will Ace Get Out of His Black Depression?
How can you prove to someone that you love him beyond all measure and even though you own a gossip web site, which tells all, among the Elite in NYC, you were not with him to get the scoop? Pretty earth shattering and this is what Carolyn has to face to get Ace back. Entertaining!

I feel that Ace really should have been more upfront with her about his past. I mean, come one - you want to get involved with a woman but you think you can outrun a story the tabloids already know about? Fat chance. And I'm surprised it wasn't more widely known about. That seemed a little odd to me.
She has issues, too. Her "hobby" is just...weird.

I'm afraid that I didn't like this book. I couldn't connect to the characters at all, they just weren't likeable. I didn't like the writing style, the story was told from a dual POV which meant that it was very repetitive. I wouldn't recommend it.

I liked the uniqueness of it that got me curious at the start. It was a good read but I was not as impressed as the 1st 2 books.

Ace Kingsley returns to New York amidst rumors and whispers as to where he's been. He meets Carolyn again after a lot of years. Christian invites both of them to the Purple Swan. Carolyn leaves with him that night. He's still grieving his dead wife and the aftermath that followed. Carolyn decides to have him investigated and he finds out. The do split up over it but neither one of them can walk away for long. In the end they do get HEA. No cliffhanger.

I loved reading Carolyn's story! Ace is hot and perfect for her even though they both had secrets that could tear them a part. The intense love between them was heartwarming and the way things come to an end before the HEA was absolutely heartbreaking. The connection between them was too strong to resist and they finally give in, thankfully! I just loved this book! Check this one out then grab the rest of the series. You won't regret it! Amelia Wilde is a very good author. I love her work. I have been reading her work for some time now. If you love dirty mouthed Alpha males who know what they want and take it, then you will love her books. “Dirty Rumor” is no exception to the rule. Nothing like good ole rumors, lies, mayhem and mind boggling sex to get the heart to pumping and the tongues to wagging. Oh, trust me when I say you do not want to miss this book.

Finally, we get Carolyn's book :D This is her book and our H is Ace Kingsley.
Carolyn Banks is the girl from all the previous books that I have been waiting for. She is the owner of her own boutique but its a cover for her real passion. Carolyn runs a blog (Rainflower Blue) that deals in rumors. It is her cash cow as the rich pay a lot to see if rumors are true or false. Carolyn believes that she is helping others because of some people from her past.
Ace Kingsley is back in New York after 2 years. He is a handsome, billionaire that has rumors swirling around him that he killed his wife. He ends of at the Swan one night with a friend from school and ends up seeing Carolyn.
The sparks fly between Carolyn and Ace from the first night they meet. Carolyn goes home with Ace, has an amazing night and then he promptly tells her it can't happen again in the morning.
Honestly, as much as I enjoy this series of books, this was my least favorite. I wasn't a fan of Carolyn. Her secret blog dealing with rumors and investigating Ace didn't set well with me. Ace I easily didn't like because I really don't like books with dead exs.
Even with that being said, I love this author and will definitely continue to read her books. This one was enjoyable, just not my favorite.

OMG!!! Hot! Hot! Hot! This steamy tale will have you soaked from all of the heat before you can blink an eye! Ms. Wilde has a wonderful talent that will knock you off of your feet long before you can think of sitting down. The tale of Ace and Carolyn is sure to tweek your attention.
Ace has finally made it back to New York city after being away for a little over two years, and he finds himself at The Swan, an exclusive club for the wealthy, and free of any paparazzi, or at least it's supposed to be. He's been invited by an old school friend, and decides that it's time to get back out in public after trying to drown himself in his sorrows with all that happened while he was away. He's not ready to let all of his dirty secrets from his past be known to anyone, and hungers for the normal. Carolyn needs to get out and be social again. It's been so long, and seeing that her best friend and former roommate is back in town for a bit, and has invited her for an evening out with the crowd, she jumps at the chance. Little did she know just how much her life was about to change.

Carolyn & Ace connect immediately and later slip away for their own private party. Although there is a strong physical attraction between them, each have been burned by a past relationship and each are determined to never allow themselves to be vulnerable again and suffer a broken heart. The ups and downs of their connection becomes complicated when his scandal sets her website on fire with speculations and issues of personal privacy threaten the budding romance. The thoughts rolling around in their minds and the choices they make in actions and reactions is interesting and entertaining. One understands the hesitation, fear and insecurity but hopes that these two worthy individuals can struggle through the challenges and find their heart's desire. At night out, trying to reconnect with old friends brings him face to face with a woman who makes him forget about everything else. An explosive night together leads to a horrible morning when Ace pushes Carolyn, Carrie, away. But fate, maybe, has different ideas and soon they find themselves living in the same building and not wanting to avoid each other. But both have secrets that could threaten their relationship and neither want to be the first to divulge them. When all secrets are revealed both have issues to get over in order to move forward, if they truly want it bad enough. I loved Ace and Carrie's story. I absolutely loved this book. A captivating and intriguing read, with amazing characters. Ace and Carolyn are wonderful people who have suffered with their pasts, but they connect and find hope in each other. They share an intense chemistry which comes across perfectly, and make a great couple. Had me gripped from start to finish. A very enjoyable read!

Author Amelia Wilde delivered another five-star read with her latest – and final – installment in the “Dirty” series. In “Dirty Rumor”, Carolyn finally gets her story, and those who have followed the series may be surprised to discover just how Jess’s and Eli’s loyal friend has made her fortune and that she’s more multi-dimensional than the kind-hearted fashion aficionado we’ve had a chance to get to know so far.
Wilde weaves a fast-paced and seamless storyline with a couple interesting twists – Ace hasn’t had as easy of a personal life as one might have guessed – but it’s the chemistry between Ace and Carolyn that’s hot enough to melt steel that blew me away. No question these two characters belong together – there’s never a doubt from the moment they lay eyes on one another (the sparks sizzle off the Kindle), and few authors are as effective at creating such electrically charged couplings as Wilde. Her writing keeps getting better and better.

Great Storyline and Characters. I just wish I had started the first one in the series but even with this being the final book it is well worth the read. I added the rest of the series to my TBR pile of books

Chatter, Chatter, Chatter. Loose tongues spread gossip, rumours that can have an impact on people's lives. The life of Aaron (Ace) Kingsley has been in turmoil and the gossip and rumours about him and Elisa don't help. His secret. Forget everything. Thank goodness for his friends and then he meets her... Carolyn Banks. Wow, she is like a shock to his system. Carolyn feels the same, like getting an electric shock when she meets him. But Carolyn has a big secret herself AND from everyone she knows too. A story of a couple so in tune, in every way, it is sad to see them torn over gossip and rumours. Heartbreaking at times and very emotional but sexy and omg moments too. Good to read about previous characters and will miss them all. Loved it

Aaron ‘Ace’ Kingsley went to the same school as Caroline and her friends, he fled Italy and returns to New York under difficult circumstances. Ace is invited to the Purple Swan by Eli. The Purple Swan is an elite club for the rich. Caroline and Ace connect and leave the club together. Caroline felt they connected and it’s more than a one night stand, but Ace dismisses her the next morning. She really deals in rumors, as in she has a super secret blog that the rich pay a lot of money to in monthly dues. She confirms whether a rumor is true or false and she sees this as helping people because of her past and the way guys have treated her.

Wow, so, okay. I'm not sure how I felt about this one. I wanted to quit reading at one point but I carried on and as soon as I was thinking it was getting exciting it ended.

I feel like it was just odd. The way their relationship unfolded. It felt too fast and no dialogue for us to get to know them. They had amazing chemistry, never really talked things out, and fell in love. What?
I was pretty disappointed. I was hoping for a little more substance. They didn't get to know each other and I didn't get to know them so it just didn't matter to me one way or another.

This is a entertaining and intriguing book to read and I really enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, twists and turns, a young female boutique owner and secret gossip blogger (Carolyn), a billionaire with secrets and sorrow (Ace), paparazzi, attractions, a one night stand, rumors, gossip, tragedy, mystery, betrayal, anger, insecurities, heartbreak, lust, emotional feelings, love and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and is exceptionally well written. The characters are well developed with personalities and have feelings of lust, needs and desires. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well written Bad Boy Billionaire Romance with a HEA, you will not be disappointed.

Dispirited billionaire Ace moves back to New York, trying to outrun the vicious rumors that follow wherever he goes, in this fun sexy romance. He isn't planning on falling in love but the instant chemistry between him and Carolyn leads to a night of passion that neither of them can forget. The trouble is, they are both keeping secrets that could tear apart their burgeoning relationship. I love Ace. He is so sweet and full of hope for this unexpected relationship. I liked Carolyn too even though what she did was wrong and sure to backfire on her. I really got caught up in this story. It just flows so well that I didn't want to put it down. This book is a great addition to this engaging series.

This was an awesome book little sad on what happen to Ace and is lady but he had nothing to do with it and he loved her but when he came back to New York he was very unhappy and anxiety was getting him more and more down
Carolyn Banks is lonely and she has been hurt by men and she promises her self she will not do it again but then she meet Ace and he is hot and handsome and everything she needs but the first time they meet awesome night but in the morning Ace feels guilty and treats Carolyn very bad very good story and awesome characters hot and sexy book. Ace Kingsley returns back to the US after his wife dies in Italy. He meets up with a classmate, Carolyn Banks. Sparks fly between the two of them and they end up dating. She runs a small shop and secret website that is all about rumors of the rich. Ace has a secret that he doesn't want anyone to know (which is that his ex father in law says he killed his wife, but she died of cancer). Everyone is posting rumors about Carolyn and Ace and whether or not he killed his wife.
The site almost destroys their relationship so she gives up her website just for him.
