Received this Book for free/ARC am Voluntarily reviewing. once I started couldn't stop reading , interestingly eccentric edgy , sexy, highly recommend Reading
The author is great at sextual storyline. Descriptive, desire, lust. This is definitely an exotic tryst. I do try to understand the character's emotions. She was in a loveless marriage, depressed & suicidal. She wants a way out. However, wanting to experiment, learn what you body can crave & feel is understandable. But to have someone break into your house & go all at it. Is just not my cup of tea. For that reason is why I had to give it a low rating.
Bring sees Martha as she's about to make a choice you can't come back from, and something compels him to step in and share with her his perspective on life.
This quick read is clearly marked as book one, and it establishes the characters, their situations, and an interesting relationship between them.
This story tells of a woman so put off by life that ending it seems better, until she meets a mysterious guy named Brin. He is cocky, arrogant; and something about him just tingles there Exsiquisitely he shows her a side of herself she never knew. Must say this story is five alarm hot and more is definitely called for
I have wondered who this strange man is since I read this little story. Is he really just a Good Samaritan trying to save a life? Or does he represent something more sinister? Will they fall in love or does he just step away from her life? I want to read the next one but these are too costly and short for me to buy. I wish this was on KU.
In the first book of this series of books, we meet a young woman who is about to end her life. But a stranger intervene, he is able to talk her down. But not all is what it seems. Martha is lonely and bored with her life and Brin may just be what she needs. But that comes with some risk.
It is very much a setting up of ground rules, and early sexy times but so short with very little depth to the characters. Very short and unless you plan on getting the box set and reading the whole thing it isn’t worth it reading on its own. An interesting start but not enough to draw me in for more.
18+ BDSM . Typical cookie cutter story part 1. It is like reading any other mass produced erotica, it does not have anything that makes it stand out from any other. I feel like I wasted 10 minutes that I could have been reading a repair manual.
Can Brin open Martha's eyes to new experiences Simone is one of my top 10 authors and this is a short read. Martha is standing on a rail of a bridge when Brin talks her down from jumping with the offer to have a drink. Brin offers Martha new experiences if she can step out of her
I just love these books! Hot, hot, hot! I can't put them down! I've gotten lost in which to read next so just staring with 1st in line but not at all hard to follow! Even outta order! ! I'm benge reading Simone
Not bad at all. A short little teaser to the rest of the master series. Not sure if I will continue it as I’m a little over the whole bad-boy, degrading master thing but it was interesting to give it a shot.
The story is great I just wish it was longer. Why are the stories chopped up so small? To bad I won't get to find out what happens cause I won't spend money on no 15 to 20 page book.
Short story and the beginning of a new series. The story is different from what I expected from the first few pages. A welcome surprise in characters and storyline.
This fantasy, positing that all risk is removed from risky behavior, provides adequate titillations to draw in readers to the author's extensive body of work.

Dipping my toes into a new genre and this book was interesting. I enjoyed some parts and raised my eyebrows at others. I will say Im intrigued enough to pick up book three.
Martha is standing on the ledge of the bridge giving herself the last pep talk about jumping. She has nothing to live for. While having this internal conversation, and so lost in thought, a Brin grabs her arm and tells her she doesn't want to do that. His logic being if she were half way down and changed her mind, there would be no way to stop things. Instead he invites her to come have a drink with him. What happens next is an eye awakening, heart pounding experience that will lead to a new life experience that Martha has never known. This quick, easy read is fast paced with the first paragraph. Painting a picture and bringing a logic to the set of circumstances that would be believable. The personalities of the characters come through with each word and action Simone Leigh has given them taking me on a wild adventure that is both intriguing and heart pounding. Wait til you see what happens.
You never know you're missing something if you haven't allowed yourself to try it. I love the dark, ominous character that almost becomes everything and more for Martha.
