Kelli walked quietly outside, looking around in the cool night for someone who she might be able to relate to. Unfortunately, nobody was around, and all she could hear was the quiet chirping of insects and an owl hooting in the distance. Maybe the owl would understand, but she didn't think it was all that likely and didn't get her hopes up about that at all. It was a little bit too strange and embarrassing for her to believe that anyone might be going through the same issues that she was having at the time, but she still couldn't help but hope.
Raven glanced at herself in the mirror, her jet black hair glistening in the bright sunlight shining in from her window. She had really cut it close the day before. She was lucky that her parents didn't suspect anything out of the ordinary was going on with her or she would have been in big trouble. Fortunately, she had managed to get back inside and into bed before they ever noticed that she was gone.
Tanya Harding looked all over the place for her reading glasses but couldn't find them anywhere. She was distressed by the entire situation but she did not want to admit that to herself, so instead she chose to look quietly without alerting her best friends of the dire situation. They were going to be late if she didn't find her glasses soon and give the go ahead to leave, and that was something she wouldn't forgive herself for, considering they were surprising a friend with a road trip to her favorite baseball team's championship game.
Mel was the last to leave the office. She was excited to go home and feed her cat, Tommy, but that was to be expected.
It seems like everything she did these days revolved around her cat.
In fact, scrolling through her contacts list in her phone, the only male name that popped up was Tony. She wonders if she named Tommy after Tony or just liked Tony as himself. Sigh, never mind.
Tara was excited, and she was ready for what was to come.
Well the fact that she was about to spend a great deal of time with her two friends Tim and James made it even better. The three of them were going to Florida, and they were going to spend a good week on the beach. It would prove to be great for them, and Tara couldn’t wait. It was strange, but she was so ready for what was going to happen, and she knew that they were as well.
Melissa really didn’t know if it was good idea. But when she walked into the back alley to help trade off the last of her valuables for some food and money, she knew that this was what she had to do. It’s not like she had a choice, and she knew that this was the only person that responded to her ad online, and it was definitely fishy. But what else could she do? She didn’t know where her two best friends Andrew and Cody were, and instead she had to rely on her own damn self. Sometimes life sucked in that way, but she knew that she had to do this.
