A non-fiction book on vampire lore. I especially found the Catholic stuff interesting. In Eastern Europe vampires were a very real fear. In an effort to integrate pagan beliefs the church said that priests and crucifixes were weapons against vampires. In 1215 The Church officially proclaimed vampires were real, that's crazy!

This book erased some stareootype and wrong ideas of vamps I had since its non-fiction. That twilight balogney had gotten me very confused, but this book put things back into perspective. Simple and short. Nice work
