Lydia Sands witnessed a murder. Since she could identify the perpetrator, she's became the target. Tyler Whitehall was her bodyguard and was seriously wounded protecting her. He recovered but doesn't remember the attack or her. Now a year later, she's still hiding and the case is cold. Lydia wants to see Tyler again. It's been arranged for her to go with the Whitehall family on their holiday. Tyler won't know she's a client. She will only be his nephew's caregiver. She's apprehensive. Who knows what will happen when they're together. Lydia and Tyler make an amazing couple. Their connection is still powerful even though he doesn't remember her. I loved when they were together. Sparks flew. Lydia is a brave and feisty. Tyler goes into Alpha protective mode. He needs to keep her by his side. I wanted them to be together always. The setting is perfect. I loved the mixture of luxury and isolation that is New Zealand. The Whitehall brothers were intriguing characters. I hope we see more of them in future stories. Joanne Wadsworth wrote a fast-paced story that was filled with surprising twists. The ending took my breath away. I never saw it coming. Witness Pursuit is a keeper.

Dakle, u knjizi se radi o djevojci koja je svjedočila ubojstvu i zbog toga se ubojica pokušao i nje riješiti. Spasio ju je tjelohranitelj koji je bio pogođen umjesto nje. Preživio je, ali je izgubio pamćenje o tom događaju, a zaboravio je i nju. Godinu dana kasnije ubojica još nije pronađen, ona se još skriva i njeni čuvari smještaju ju na jahtu tog istog tjelohranitelja i njegove obitelji. Kao, to je mjesto na kojem će biti potpuno sigurna i gdje ubojica nikad ne bi pomislio tražiti ju. (?!?!?!) Tjelohranitelj i njegova obitelj naravno nemaju pojma tko je ona.
Knjigu sam uzela isključivo da bih pročitala nešto lagano između dvije dosta teške knjige. Nisam imala nikakvih očekivanja od nje i dobro da nisam. Kad sam ju počela čitati bila mi je tako loša da sam ju čak mislila ostaviti. Razmišljala sam kako ću joj na kraju dati ocjenu 1. Rečenice poput "Nije mogla maknuti oči s njegovih jakih bedara", "Uživala je u njegovom debelom tvrdom kurcu"... i slične fraze me ubijaju u pojam. Srećom pa su se možda samo 3-4 puta seksali.
Dijalozi su mi bili strašno loši, radnja je predvidljiva i neuvjerljiva. Naravno da će njih dvoje osjetiti nevjerojatnu seksualnu privlačnost, naravno da će se spetljati, naravno da će oboje biti tvrdoglavi i htjet će zaštiti jedno drugo besmislenim odlukama bez da razgovaraju jedno s drugim.
Oko sredine knjige se radnja malo razvije i poboljša, upoznajemo nove likove i iako je autorica osmislila jako slab rasplet radnje, više osmišljen da se sve poklopi, a manje da bude vjerodostojan, događaju se zanimljive stvari, malo akcije, i to neznatno poboljšava samu knjigu.
Također su mi se svidjeli predivni opisi plaža i brda Novog Zelanda i okolnih otoka. Te dvije stvari su presudile u mom povećanju ocjene pa knjizi dajem jednu klimavu trojku.

Too full of coincidences, needed a serious edit and the romance just didn't sit right and certainly didn't sizzle. Disappointing.

I enjoyed this read immensely. She goes into witness protection after witnessing a murder and end up falling in love with her bodyguard. The author kept me hooked right to the very end. The writing was smooth and easy and I didn't skip a single page. The characters were so endearing I would love it if Tyler's brothers had a series og their own. I'm hoping the other bodyguards do. It was a great mix of romance and suspense but I do wish there was more mystery and thrill in it. The book would have been longer and even more captivating.
Great read, can't wait to read the second book.

Great Read
I've been reading books from a lot of new authors lately and have been disappointed more often than not. But this book sucked me in from the beginning, I couldn't stop reading and finished it in one sitting. I do believe I found a new author to keep track of and a series to complete!

Sexy men, yachts and beaches...what's not too love!
Joanne Wadsworth knows how to write st easy hot romance. She proves it book 1 of her Billionaire Bodyguards series, " Billionaire Bodyguard Attractions". Ms. Wadsworth includes everything I have come to expect in contemporary romance, a sexy hot billionaire who has traumatic amnesia from being shot on a previous assignment as a bodyguard, the strong, independent female he can't remember but seems inexplicably drawn to, and fabulous settings for this story to play out. Joanne Wadsworth is a skilled wordsmith, who is able to make you feel as though you are right there in the thick of things. I have never been to New Zealand or the Fiji islands but Joanne paints such a vivid picture I was swept away to a magic vacation wonderland. There are a lot of adult only panty melting sex scenes, so this should be read by adults only ( Really do men with that kind of stamina really exist?). There is more then sex in this novel. There is a real suspenseful murder investigation with enough twists to keep you guessing until the end. "Billionaire Bodyguard Attraction" was a very enjoyable book I read in about two rainy afternoons. I have already put book 2 on my wishlist but there are no cliffhangers and a very satisfying happily ever after.

So annoying
I’m not sure what it is about this author’s style of writing that makes me want to light my hair on fire. Underlying story line was interesting - I love romantic suspense and this fit that genre. But the author assumes we know more than she shares. I thought, perhaps, I’d caught a book on the 2nd or 3rd book on the series. When I “should” already know the characters, a bit of their back stories, the bodyguard company they work for, etc. But no. Apparently I need to be a psychic friend.
So many plot holes because of this. The characters were kind of interesting but extremely shallow. Intimate scenes were just plain weird. She was a virgin, he was her first, but she was really aggressive and her language when she seduces him was off. I ended up skimming about half the book bc I just wanted to see how it ended. Then I came to my senses and stopped. I no longer cared.

He can’t remember her, but she remembers him all too well. The attraction between them is electric, and also one of comfort, a feeling of home.
This was a first reading by this author for me. The novel was fast, paced and exciting. There are several steamy scenes that are worth rereading over again.
I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series as well as more works done by this author. Very well written.
I read this book via audio and I was not a fan of having this book read by AI. There were no feelings put into any of the words, and some of them were pronounced incorrectly as well. Having the book read by an AI did not make the story flow very well.

Great
This book was one of those you just pick up on the off chance but it turns out to be great a hidden treasure I really enjoyed this one of much. IblovecthTcthey have history together but only she remembers it and he has to work to remember her but that there is something bigger than both of the in the back ground after witnessing a murder she is a key witness. It was a little wider that in the end it all came together when the man who killed is also the father to a man she is workiñg with in witness protection.
But over all this is one book I couldn't put down.

Excitement, fear and forever
A wonderful feel good "make you feel happy" story about a bodyguard who loves even without his memory of that love and the woman who shares that love and the fear of the consequences.. Beautiful dialogue and chemistry that raises you up but background fear because a bodyguard will risk everything to save his "client"

Lydia/Lee/Jenna rocks. Tyler is a bit of a caveman. Together they make this a good story.

This one moved way too fast for my liking.
I also don't know if it was because I listened to the audiobook but I thought it was a bit confusing at times, like I didn't know what was going on only to realize it was a flashback...

I've read other novels by Joanne Wadsworth, but this is the first in a contemporary setting. Ms. Wadsworth excels at creating a world you can fall into, and a story you will love.
Lydia Sands and her twin, Saria, have lived with protective bodyguards since Lydia witnessed the murder of an influential businessman. In over a year, investigators haven't uncovered a clue as to who might have committed the crime. To make matters worse, Tyler Whitehall, one of her bodyguards was shot while protecting her. It's a guilt she struggles to live with. Tyler only remembers waking up in the hospital. He has no recollection of Lydia, or the desire he felt for her previously.
This makes for an interesting set up when Lydia's name is leaked to the press, necessitating her removal to a different location. Her handler picks Tyler's family yacht and enlists the aid of the Whitehall's, passing Lydia off as a child minder. Lydia is worried about how Tyler might react, but the man's reaction isn't what she expects. He wants her, even though he can't remember her.
The raw emotion Ms. Wadsworth weaves into her story as the couple reunites and then is ripped apart again as Lydia enters a witness relocation program will seize you by the throat and take you on a wild ride as Tyler pursues her. He is desperate to solve the crime so he and the woman he loves can live in the sunlight again. Regaining his memory a little at a time, he recalls the last desire he had after being shot was to cling to life until he could kiss Lydia.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. The lush tropical world Ms. Wadsworth created pales in comparison to the emotions and experiences of her main characters. This is the first book in the Bodyguards Series, but it certainly won't be the last one I read.

Lydia has been hiding for over a year; she witnessed a murder and is now in protective custody. Ben, her current bodyguard has been watching over both Lydia and her twin sister, Saria, but knows that Lydia needs a change of scenery. Ben got her a job with the Whitehall family watching a small boy named Nico. She is nervous about the assignment because a year ago Tyler Whitehall was badly injured while protecting her and is unable to remember the incident.
At the time, Tyler worked with Ben as a bodyguard, but after he was shot he left the field and is now working with his brothers in their shipping business. When he sees Lydia he realizes he knows her from somewhere but both Ben and Lydia keep the events from him, for now. It is only after someone leaks information to the press and Lydia is again in danger that he remembers everything, including what she means to him.
Witness Pursuit is a fun filled suspenseful romp with a lot of sex, adventures on tropical islands and alpha heroes that want to protect...

At the time, Tyler worked with Ben as a bodyguard, but after he was shot he left the field and is now working with his brothers in their shipping business. 3.5 Stars in my Sky!
Witness Pursuit focuses on Lydia as she struggles to cope with life in witness protection. Not only does she have horrible memories from witnessing a murder, she's also dealing with the guilt of her former bodyguard Tyler being shot whilst trying to protect her.
Lydia's handler Ben sends her to hide out/work for Tyler's family as a nanny for Tyler's 4-year-old nephew. Tyler has lost his memories of the shooting and doesn't remember Lydia, but he's instantly drawn to her and actively pursues her.
The story follows Lydia as she reconnects with Tyler and tries to move on from the past. The killer wants Lydia silenced and Tyler, Ben and the team will do anything to protect her.
I enjoyed the family dynamics between Tyler and his brother's, I'm hoping the next book will focus on one of them. Witness Pursuit is a sweet romance with a hint of drama to keep things interesting.

I got this book free on goodreads giveaway. I short suspenseful romance (127 Pages) and book one in the Bodyguards series. Lydia is aboard a super-yacht on it's way to the South Pacific posing as a nanny for a child that is aboard. The yacht is owned by a family, Tyler his 3 brothers and his nephew are aboard along with the staff. Tyler is a bodyguard and does not trust Lydia. That he does not remember is that a year ago when he was shot, he was protecting Lydia and a child that was in her care. He does not remember the incident and does not remember her. Lydia wants to keep it that way to keep him safe. Lydia is a witness in a high profile case and when information is leaked Lydia undergoes re-identification. Tyler starts to care for her and when she disappears, he does what he can to find her. A lot of action and a short amount of time, it kept my interest, good read!

This was my first contemporary book by Ms.Wadsworth, I enjoyed it very much and it won't be my last.
The heroine, Lydia in a witness protection program. She has been in hiding for over a year now and has had to have bodyguards watching over her. But it has been decided, she needs a break and a change of scenery. So her current bodyguard arranges a job for her caring for a little boy named Nico, a child from the Whitehall family, which makes her a little apprehensive as a previous bodyguard named Tyler Whitehall had been seriously injured, protecting her the the year before, and had suffered partial memory loss.
The plot thickens as Lydia and Tyler meet again, and of cause we learn the reasons why she has to be in the program.
This was a suspenseful, thriller with lots of passion and fun. I enjoyed it very much.

I wanted to like this book. I really did. It’s was ok, but not great. I know how hard authors work on their books, so I hate to leave bad reviews. I didn’t even want to finish it, but I was given a job, so I finished it.
The biggest drawback I had was the age difference between the H and h. Eleven years! I know of quite a few marriages where there was a 10 year difference and those did not work out very well. The men have a tendency to be overbearing and then some times when the older man cannot keep up with the younger woman. I even had a few of these in my family that ended in divorce. So the age difference was a big drawback for me.
Plus the H wanted just to sleep with the h, she was ok with that. She was all upbeat and still kissy face with him. There wasn’t any angst, a little is always good.

What young woman wouldn’t fall for a bodyguard like Tyler? He’s rich, hot, and absolutely alpha. Add in the fact that he’s already saved her life in the past (but can’t remember it due to the injuries he sustained then) and is attracted to her but doesn’t understand why, and, well, resistance is futile.
Tyler loves Lydia’s strength, and her determination to keep him and his family safe, though he’s sure they don’t need her help. Some pretty major—seemingly insurmountable—obstacles keep them apart, such as some really bad bad-guys eluding capture, but it’s great to see everything come together in the end, and everyone get what they deserve.
A sizzling romance set on a yacht, the beach, and a sweeping outback ranch. Did I mention the hot bodyguard?

Received an ARC copy for a honest review. First book for me by this author but won't be the last. Loved it!! I was swept away from the start and stayed on the edge of my seat. Storyline was intriguing, action packed, suspenseful and so hot. While on assignment as a bodyguard, Tyler gets shot and has memory loss. Lydia witnesses a crime and is under protection and falls for her bodyguard. She feels guilty he was injured and doesn't want to endanger him anymore. You have one bossy alpha male out to protect what he feels is his. Lovable characters, sizzling chemistry and passion. Would recommend. Can't wait to read more by this author.

I had high hopes for this, but I did not like the introduction to the story and then it never took off for me. The way it is written is just odd. He is a former bodyguard who has been shot protecting the heroine (more than 10 years his junior). After a year her handler brings her to the hero's yacht to hide and they think the hero won't immediately suspect?

A strong woman who has witnessed a murder and continues to sacrifice in order to identify the murderer. But her strong protective instincts of her protectors cause a lot of strife and some pretty funny moments. The characters are so well developed and the writing is so smooth, Joanne's book is so hard to put down. I read it in one go (made for a very long night!). I am so excited to read the next book in this series!

Bodyguard Attraction
Why is it called Billionaire? I am not even sure Tyler that rich if he was then he would have gotten the tracker in one day not five. Love the story line. It connected clearly with two cases. This is the first time I read about so many bodyguards for one person equally.
