Hazel Hunter

Hazel and her husband stopped being separate people years ago. They live their happy life in the always crowded, mostly sunny, and sometimes sweltering city of LA. Though they haven’t managed it yet, plans are afoot to add a kitty to the household, thereby giving the allergist fits.

Hazel has been writing full-time for several years, with some traditionally published work in other genres. But it’s her indie-published romance that fuels the creative fire. It turns out writing isn’t a job, it’s an obsession.

When you can pry Hazel’s fingers from the laptop, you’ll find her: on the elliptical watching a documentary, indulging her audiobook habit, or spending quality time with Candy Crush. Although she’s vegan, she’s a disaster in the kitchen. Luckily, potato chips and pinot noir come ready-made.

Denied is the fourth book in the Forever Faire serial, and continues with Kayla's story as she is pushed through a Shadow Portal by her 'sister', Tara. Christine follows her, and they end up where Christine used to work, now a stronghold for the Blackstones. With Christine's ingenuity, they make it out where they receive another surprise.

The information comes thick and fast with this book, the feeling being that the loose ends are being tied up whilst still leaving you wanting more. Extremely well written, with a fast but smooth pace, there were no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt my reading flow. I would definitely recommend this book as part of the series.

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *

Tara has finally convinced Kayla she is a bad seed by dumping her into a black shadow. But is she really? I believe after reading this book of the series that Hunter loves a twist. You'll see a lot of Ryan, Colm, Christine, and the others again, but there are some new added friends of a sort. I'm loving this series because it keeps you guessing what's next and will have you saying, "What?"

I fully recommend this book and Hunter as a stellar author.

I was given this book as an advance reader copy for Free of charge, in return for my honest review. I have to say I really enjoyed reading this book. It left off right where the other stopped, as usual and it got better with a little twist I didn't see coming. Can the light fae change the dark fae? Read to find out what you may think will happen in the next installment :-) Happy Reading.

The cliffhangers are fantastic in this series. This specific book is great because it starts to answer a lot more questions. One more to go!

Kayla was last seen vanishing into the dark, major cliffhanger there. Here we find her escaping the Dark Fae and returning to the Faire. She even brings back a dragon, whom everyone is afraid of but her. Tara is chained and kept away from everyone but manages to escape through betrayal again. In the end she is betrayed and we are left with another major cliffhanger. Really looking forward to how this all winds down.

I am voluntarily submitting this review of Hunted after I received an advanced readers copy. I have not been compensated in any way to provide my review. Plan and simple this is my honest, uncoerced, uncompensated review. Yada, yada, yada.

Ok, so I went on a binge and read all 4 books in this series. I don't believe this series gets the recognition or advertisement it deserves. I'm not sure how I stumbled across Hazel Hunter's Forever Faire series, but I am so glad that I did.

In book four, Kayla finally discovers Tara's identity and how she's connect to her. If you are not ready for a roller coaster of emotions you may want to slowly back away from the book take a breather and then come back and finish reading. Yeah, it's just that good. This book will insight moments of jaw-dropping reaction, there will be times where you feel like you want to rip somebody's head off right along with the fae in battle, and moments that make you want to say "aww" (a small part of you will wish the fae we're real).

I'm usually not a fan of reading books with cliffhangers unless the entire series has been completed. But I mean really how could I pass up an opportunity to read a book that sounded so interesting? With that said if you are interested in reading books that contain magic, extremely hot fae men, an awesome chick for the main character and some bada** antagonist then this is the book for you! Enjoy!

Oh and don't forget to check out the next installment in the series "Destined" that comes out on December 12, 2016 (put it on your calendar). I may have to be a little book stockerish to make sure Hazel gets it out on time (or early). I mean really, I don't want to wait!

This is the fourth installment in the Forever Faire series.
When we last left Kayla she and the rest of the Forever Faire were fleeing to Florida after being attacked by the Blackstones. Kayla, still trying to see the best in her sister, runs back to get her before they miss the chance to get to the portal and flee to Florida. Her sister has other plans. She sends Kayla and Christine through another portal strait to Dirk and the other Blackstones in exchange for her freedom from Dirk. Kayla and Christine make a harrowing escape on one of the Blackstone’s’ motorcycles which is really a dragon. After making it through the portal to Florida Ryan, the leader of Forever Faire and Kayla’s boyfriend decides to lock her sister up in enchanted chains to keep her from hurting anyone else until they can decide what to do with her. While dealing with her sister’s betrayal Kayla is also learning how to tap into her Fae side and use her magic as well as trying to uncover the secrets about her true family. All is going well until Kayla’s sister escapes and is taken by Dirk Blackstone. The Blackstones again attack the Forever Faire and, much to the dismay of Ryan, Kayla and Christine leave during the attack to seek out Kayla’s sister and attempt to rescue her. Will Kayla be able to save her sister from the clutches of Dirk or will her sister even want to be saved?
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. I love that it keeps you guessing and the action is balanced out with a suspenseful story. I can’t wait to see how it concludes in the next book.

In this episode we start with Kayla being swallowed in to an endless abyss of utter darkness.

Once again, Kayla finds herself facing a bleak situation once she lands in the headquarters of the Dark Fae, lead by Dirk Blackstone, but this time she is not alone. She finds that Christine, a former stripper with an unusual gift, now her friend, has fallen through the abyss with her. And they must find a way to escape and quickly.

I find myself once again drawn in by these characters and their world. I enjoyed seeing Kayla come a bit more into her own and actually put her wants and needs before Tara's for once. The relationship between Kayla and Christine grows and somethings start making sense.

Of course the book wouldn't be complete without some Steaminess between Kayla & Ryan. Let's just say I want a bed of ferns too!

Now, what's Tara up to in this one? Well, it appears to be the same ole, same ole - compulsion, betrayal, lies - or is it something difference?

Forever Faire has moved their headquarters to Florida in an attempt to escape from the Dark Fae - But as you know this never last long. And as we leave....there is another battle brewing.

Join us when the story continues...

This book was given as an advance copy to read and rate to which I say thanks the rate and review is not beholden by me but true and honest. This book really needs a person to start from book one as it is I started with this one and was pulled in from page one with Kayla floating in the bottomless pit getting help from her friend Christine along with the dark farie dragon bike to leave before the dark faire Dirk get them when they fell out of the b-pit. Turns out Christine is her long lost sister and not Tara, Kayla still love Tara despite her being a Blackstone kin. Dirk found out where Rayan took his people stage an all out war got defeted and yet here he comes again with another attack at the Lake and Kyla and Christine have flewn away on the Dragon to Dirk side. Can't wait to read book five the sex is not much but steamy. Story is short so is a fast read for me as I tend to read books with 60-70 chapther in 3-4 days good suspense.

MORE REVELATIONS. 3.5 stars. Denied is the fourth novella in the series Forever Faire. This is not a standalone and ends in a cliffhanger. It is a quick read so it's perfect for a short break from real life. There is violence and hot steamy sex scenes so 18+.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. After the events in Denied, Ryan moves The Faire to Florida in an attempt to keep everyone safe from the Blackstones. Kayla now knows that Tara really isn't her sister. But just who, and what, is Kayla? And is Tara really Dark Fae or is there more to her story as well? There are more clues and revelations in the storyline that keep you guessing what twists and turns will be revealed next. As usual, things and people are not as they appear.

I look forward to reading more of this series. I received a copy of this book from the author and chose to leave review.

I love this series, in fact if possible I would definitely give it more than the allowed five stars. Anyone reading this book does need to have read the previous three nooks to truly know what is going on and beside they are too good to not read. Kayla has no choice than to admit to herself that Tara is really her true sister, as she has continually betrayed her at every turn. Luckily she has found Christine and has also has Ryan a fae warrior who has been there consistently since she met him. Since the Fae's winter camp has been destroyed Ryan decides to move them south and although it allows them to escape the Dark Fae, he is also determined to find out more about Kayla and her mysterious past. I could tell you more but I hate it when reviews give away too much and spoil it for other readers.

This series just keeps getting more wonderful and Denied is the best yet. You learn more about Kayla and more about Tara and her past. Kayla finds out who her betrayer is. There are outstanding action scenes. Hazel Hunter writes remarkable descriptions, not only of the action, but the surroundings, and wonderful interactions between the people. It all makes you feel as if you are there experiencing everything. Hazel Hunter does such a marvelous job. Her writing is concise and brings you out of your world and into hers. The romance between Kayla and Ryan is heating up. And the darned cliffhanger leaves you with many questions yet to be answered. I can't wait to find out what happens next in this excellent series.

Title: Engaging and Intriguing
Review: This fourth ‘Forever Faire’ book by Hazel Hunter is just the book for a blustery winter day, or night. It continues the storyline from the first three books, yet stands on its own quite well. The continuity and character development is right in line for this stage of the series.
I find the location change especially appealing this time of year (late November). But the plot twists and turns are enough to keep anyone coming back for more. The sister/half-sister developments and the dragon/motorbike details are just part of the fun. I enjoyed the development of the love lives of the characters (three separate ones thus far), and look forward to more from Ms. Hunter.

This continues Kayla and Ryan's story as well as the rest of the light and dark Fae. Tara once again fails to assist Kayla, and she and Christine end up back in the stripper club, waiting for the Blackstone's to notice they are there !! A dragon/motorcycle assists them in getting away, and Christine and Kayla find out some amazing news !! You must read these books in order to get the most enjoyment out of them. I recommend being 17+ due to sexual content and language. As usual Hazel Hunter puts in a few curve balls and a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more !! 4.5 ☆'s . I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest review.

In book three we saw a huge twist that involved Tara. In book four we are given another twist. This one involves Christine. Both twists are directly related to Kayla. Just when you think you know what's going to happen next something else happens that you weren't expecting. There is a high level of creativity in this series and I love it. I can't wait for book five! Every book is a short segment that can be read in a little over an hour. They all end in a cliffhanger and pick up where the previous left off. Due to that, it helps to read them in order.

Part 4 of the forever faire

In the last book Kayla had been tossed into a black abyss. A gate way to the bar the blackstones were at but Christine jumps in after her.
Kayla also finds out in this book where her real sister is, not the changeling she raised. They are all in their new home in florida but the blackstones are at it again! OMG
This series is awesome! Wow, amazing storyline and fantastic mystery. It's a must read to believe kind of story! WHAT a tale Hazel hunter takes the read on. I can't wait for the next book

I definitely recommend this book! I noticed some bad reviews from readers who didn't read the first three books in the series. It isn't a standalone novel, you should definitely read the other books before this one.
I really enjoyed this book, so far it's my favorite in the series. The story is coming together, the relationships are getting sweeter, and Fallon, a dragon, is introduced, and I just love him!
The story is written in a way that keeps me glued to the pages. I really can't put the books in this series down once I start reading. As always, I'm looking forward to the next book!

I have really enjoyed the series. Kayla and Ryan continue to bond as they work to keep everyone safe and find out what exactly happened to her mother and sister. Some of the characters find it easier that others to deal with the aftermath of the last book. There is a real sadness about discovering the truth but also some good news for her in a surprise twist. I really enjoy seeing Kayla and Ryan grow closer and they have really learned to support one another. You definitely want to read all the books in the order to truly enjoy the story.

Voluntarily reviewed from advanced reader copy. There's a pacing to these books. You get the action that finished off from the previous cliffhanger then there's the lull. Which, gives you a false sense of security that maybe they'll be ok. In the interlude you get the romance and steamy bits and more fodder to feed the story. The little hints of things that you can't quite make sense of and are dying to know what they means. Kayla and jannon still struggle to think of Tara as evil. They love her and want her to be remade by their love. But will it be enough
