The exciting conclusion of The Flyboy Trilogy! Lisa’s memory has returned along with her burning desire for wickedly hot Captain Lance Miller. Passion soars when the two unite. Lance is thrilled his goddess finally remembers him, but which Lisa is coming home with him? In some ways he is eager for the return of his innocent, sweet, loving Lisa, but he also adores his new and improved, sexy, opinionated, wild tiger. They are settling into their smooth sailing, happily reacquainted life when Lance’s flyboys are called to Afghanistan. This disruption is nothing compared to the turbulent arrival of Lance’s insanely hot, long lost half-brother, fighter pilot Derek Fuller. Derek’s arrival may cause Lisa’s path to be completely rerouted.

This was a satisfying conclusion to The Flyboy Trilogy. It took me a while to read this, as I needed time to go back to the first two books and re-read what happened there, and I have to say that I enjoyed how author GL Ross ended this series with a bang. It brough more complications and yet possibilities for both of our heroines to take into consideration and put their love to the ultimate and final test.
Prepare yourself ladies, this is it! The wait if finally over!!
Crosswinds? Crosswinds! There could not have been more to this title than what occurred within these pages. Lisa and Lance back together and on clearer footing. At least here were until a few things occurred rather close together. Derek. Afghanistan.
I truly wanted to hit someone. Then I wanted to cry, scream, yell, and even throw a fit or two. This was unfair. They had been through so much already and it just kept coming at them.
If you have enjoyed the first two books, you really must get this one. You will question yourself at least a dozen or more times as you read. Is this really happening? Why is this happening? Was it meant to be this way from the beginning? How can this be? I have to be straight hones that if I had started this series when it originally came out. I would have pulled my hair out by now because the cliffhangers, the waiting for the resolution would have just ate me up inside. Now I am fully sated, but could there be more?
As always, the writing was superb but the twist with the brother seemed like a tired theme. Of the three books with Lance and Lisa, this was my least favorite.
This final installment of the Flyboy Trilogy did not disappoint and delivered on so many levels. In the continuing story of Lance and Lisa, we are introduced to Lance's half-brothers -- the younger, Derek, and the older, Max -- who've not seen each other in years. We also meet more of Lance's buddies from his Air Force days. Let me tell you, when a story can kick your butt, you know it's a hell of a story. I laughed, got frustrated, mad, cried, and of course, hot and bothered (over the steamy sex scenes). I found myself yelling "No!" and "Why?!" at the characters. I even wondered sometimes if there would be a happily ever after for any of the characters when, once again, tragedy and heartache strike. I wanted to read it for 24 hours straight to get to the end! In conclusion, just know that family and love are very powerful motivators. Read this book (mature readers only).
I have loved Lance and Lisa from book one and have been waiting to get the conclusion of it. So when Ms. Ross asked me to beta read this you can bet I jumped at the opportunity. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail because I don't want to spoil anything. I had a ton of emotions while reading this book, good, bad, sad, happy yep it was all there. There were moments where I wanted to cry and throw my kindle and then there were moments where I wanted to cry happy tears. I'm telling you this was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions. A great conclusion to The Flyboy Trilogy. This is a solid 4.25 stars.
