Second Chances
Sharon's life always revolved around her kids and her work. With everything falling apart around her, she finds herself taking on an article about giving people a second chance at life. She meets a man on the street named Patrick, who is a homeless veteran and decides to make her article about him. As she's writing about him, she and her family help him get back on his feet by helping him find a job and even allow him to stay with them. Through this dedication she finds herself falling in love with him. But with love comes sacrifice and she finds that her love for him comes at a price.

A family struggling from the effect of a divorce. Mom can't find an idea for a paper she needs to write. A son who doesn't want to go back to school, but to move away. When time out with mom at a restaurant, Drew helps a homeless man. Once a military man and now homeless , would be a theme to write about. More importantly something for the three of them to do together. To take there mind off of dad leaving. Delightful, heart warming of second chances, and where they may lead one. Readers will love this family story.

Nope. Sorry. This one just wasn't for me at all. The book was very well written and all, and the Characterization was strong, but it was so horribly, depressingly sad. The end of this book is one of the most tear-jerkingly miserable endings I have ever read. If you like sad endings, this is the book for you. Me? I am a happily-ever-after ending kind of a person. This book left me depressed. Had I known how this one would turn out, I wouldn't have read it at all.

I can't even...beautiful
I came across this book in a facebook group. My first christian romance and wow! What a heartfelt story...The romance was there but mainly it was a story about a family's struggle to move forward after a nasty divorce. I have NEVER gotten such an intense case of the feels and I haven't cried that hard in a long time.
