What would you be willing to sacrifice for a chance to live… and love… forever?

From the bestselling author of the BLOOD CURSE SERIES and DRAGONS REALM comes a gripping, sensuous saga, full of danger, vampiric-dragons, and mystic PANTHEON OF DRAGONS by Tessa Dawn.

Zanaikeyros Saphyrius, better known as Zane, is an original dragyri, a badass male, and a Genesis Son - one of the original embryos made by the dragon lords. Like all the Dragyr he has ten days from the time he meets his fated - a human female - to take her to the Temple of Seven and present her to the ancient dragon lords to be consecrated… remade… and reborn.

Jordan Anderson is as talented as she is independent. Despite losing her parents when she was only seven years old, she has managed to create a successful career, establish a comfortable life, and lay the groundwork for a safe, predictable future. The last thing she wants — or needs — is to enter a savage world teeming with demons, shadow-walkers, and fearsome dragon lords.

When Zane and Jordan’s lives cross paths in a dimly lit parking garage, an immortal flame is ignited… and the ten-day clock starts running.

Zane sees all the signs.

Jordan sees only a predator.

And a dark, perilous journey begins…

ZANAIKEYROS ~ SON OF a fiery fusion of Dark Fantasy and Gothic Romance.

This is Tessa Dawn's new series about dragons. As usual her writing is great. This series has the same "time limit" as her Blood Curse series. This one is 10 days - Blood curse was 30 days. The story started really good then just started going down hill for me. It was 90 percent the Female MC. Jordan just started to get on my last nerve as the story progressed. Way too much running away for me. And when she got "Dan" involved ... UGH, I just wanted to throw her ass at Dan and let him have her. Zane was way to fluffy for me. Poor guy, had to be stuck with Jordan. I did not at all find a connection with Jordan and Zane.

I was so blown away by the magic and the characters. Each time a new one was revealed I felt their personality rush out at me. Zane is so everything male. Strong, dominant and scary at times. I loved his character and he and Jordan were like bolts of lightening clashing in the sky when they were together. Opposites but, so incredibly beautiful and strong together. I really connected with Jordan, her independence and strength really appealed to me.

Anything Tessa Dawn writes is magical, she brings you right into the story and allows you to experience it like you are standing there. Another excellent read and fabulous beginning to a new series.

Just OK for me..

This book was so disappointing for me. I’ve read all Tessa Dawn’s Blood Curse series and I’ve loved every one of them, except the first one. Anyway, this was nowhere near a romance. By 60% there was not a single thought or touch or feeling from either of them that was the least bit romantic. Zane did all he could to try to make her understand their connection and Jordan did all she could to escape him. She didn’t even try to understand him, or what was going on. He should have just let her die in her sleep at the end of ten days, (which brings back memories of the thirty days the hero and heroine had in the Blood Curse series.)

I never managed to like Jordan and Zane’s relationship. No passion, no lust, no sexual feelings, not a single freaking thing. And then, at 85% they had vanilla sex. The 2 or 3 pages weren’t even worth reading.

She knew what was supposed to happen at her “rebirth” but she was still trying to pull away from Zane as they entered the temple, knowing if she didn’t go through with it they would both die.
And the crap she pulled with Dan? I really tried but I just couldn’t stand her.

However, I loved Zane, Axe, Levi, Nakai and Jace, but if every female is going to act as bad as Jordan did I won’t be reading the next book.

Lousy sex and the F-bomb was used 1 time.

As to the narration: I absolutely love Eric G. Dove. He does everything perfect!

Oh it kills me and pains me to rate this only 3 stars because first and foremost I ADORE Tessa's story telling and she is my number one go to author.
So let me tell you why: The main characters Zane and Jordan, to me just felt disjointed and not cohesive at all. I felt zero connection between the H and h. Jordan was such a B&%$h that I spent the majority of the time wanting to just strangle her through my kindle. She had no redeeming qualities at all. Zane for a lack of a better description acted like a p&$$y whipped dork. Too kind for his own good. I felt no romantic inclination from anyone except Zane so kudos to him in that aspect. Up until 75% of the way through the book Jordan acted like she wanted to vomit even thinking about being connected to Zane, then she suddenly had an epiphany which sorry to say did not convince me at all. There was one sex scene and it felt more like a wham bam thank you mam than a true connecting of souls. Which I understand would be difficult in a 10 day time period, perhaps I went into this book with expectations that it would be as good if not better than the BC series. That I would feel connected to the characters and get emotionally invested like I did with the other series.
With that said the world building and secondary characters were absolutely amazing. The realm concept was out of this world and I hope with future books we see even more and experience hopefully a more heart felt connection between the H and h. I really loved the dragon concept and found the layout both enticing and enjoyable. The seven dragon gods kinda made me think of the dark crystal movie and help me to envision Tessa's creativity. At the end of the day I will wait with bated breath for the next installment and go from there :)

This is a good start to a new series (audible review). But... I have to say it is very similar to the Blood Curse series, just with Dragons and Demons instead of Light and Dark Vampires.

I liked it because I really like the Blood Curse series. I do look forward to the next book in this series. "Yet and still", I just hope maybe Tessa Dawn steers away from a repeat of the Blood Curse series.

As for the narration, AMAZING! Eric Dove is the in the top 2 male narrators ever! He does such a fantastic job on the female voices and gives everyone their own distinct voice, he reads with emotion and has very nice reading voice! Love him!

Tessa Dawn Does It Again!! Awesomesauce Start to a Fangtastic New Series!

I can tell that Miss Dawn put a lot of research into this story. It shows in the Pantheon Temple as well as the dragon lord's rituals. And the names, so creative... A Well-written, multilayered story, that is easy to follow, and difficult to put down, especially when the scene in front of you plays like a movie. A plus in my book!

I absolutely adore Tessa Dawn's dark, edgy, and picturesque writing style. When this author puts pen to paper, imaginations soar into worlds like no other with truly remarkable characters that have heart, tenacity, sensuality, raw emotions, and so much more. It really spices things up when they are Drop-Dead Gorgeous.

Zanaikeyros "Zane" Saphyrius is one helacious badass! Not only is he an original Genesis Son, he is intelligent, sexy, dangerous, and protective. He is like a gentleman when it comes to his dragyra. I can't even fathom what it would be like to actually see him up close. In my mind he is tangible, I just want to reach out and touch him... Swoonworthy!!

Jordon Anderson is an intelligent, beautiful, compassionate, stubborn, determined, and strong - willed character who is dedicated to her career and friends. She has had her share of complications and is in no way prepared for the events to come.

But when their paths cross, the story embarks on an intensely suspenseful, and dangerous journey full of twisted turns that threw me for a loop on more than one occasion.

There were a few times, I had to, refrain from chunking my tablet across the room, smile at a beautiful moment, or chuckle at an inner dialog. Engaging and Dark!

What would you do if you had a chance at true love forever? A Sensual journey into the story of Zane and Jordon.

I highly recommend this first installment, Zanaikeyros: Son of Dragons of Miss Tessa Dawn's Brand New Series... Pantheon of Dragons

Tessa Dawns Dragons are sorchers!!

This is a new series by one of my most favorite authors. Extremely interesting new world she has constructed for her readers. Good start, I enjoyed learning her new characters and world. I loved Zane, however, I had issues with Jordan but eventually grew to like her. It goes without pause that I will be anxiously be waiting for Axes story and more of this world. The story behind the dragons and their power is great story telling and Tessa does a wonderful job in her stories where everything grows in complexity and all the books weave and intersect.

Didn't flow like her other books, but the story overall was pretty good.

The 1st part of the book was a lil, I don't know...just seemed amateurish for her- almost like it wasn't her telling the story. Slowly, it got better throughout the book. By the end, I'm looking forward to the next book. Hope she doesn't wait too long to tell Ghost's story.

Eyes rolling

Have loved Tessa's books in the past. Decided to give this new series a try, however had a hard time getting into this one. The romance between the two characters seemed extremely cheesy, and the world building for me was difficult to believe. I will read the next one in the series hopefully it will get better.

If only there were males like this…. Oh my! I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved this book and even more so, how much you need to read it! Dragyr…. Let that word sink in! They are born of Dragons but feed on blood, can breathe fire and oh so much more! These Dragyr’s are beyond powerful beings, beyond superhero’s, beyond Vampires and oh so hot! Author Tessa Dawn will ignite your imagination with colorful mystical worlds, evil twisted demonic beings, and lethal, fire breathing, oh so gorgeous Dragyr’s. This book will make you twist and turn in your seat! It will make you stand up and sit back down again. You will need to keep turning the pages to see what happens next. Tessa will keep you literally on the edge of you seat until the very last page. You will be tossed into a circle of fire that you cannot escape with graphic very descriptive bloody battles, seduction that will make you sweat and crave for more, and a love so intense that the heat from it will scorch your very soul. If I could give this book 10 stars I would! Trust me, you will want to curl up on the couch, snuggle up with your favorite throw and introduce yourself to the Dragyr, Zane…. He is patiently but eagerly awaiting your arrival. Happy Reading!

Not sure what I was expecting when I picked up this new book, but what I got was action, intrigue, suspense, danger, and some incredibly powerful characters. Wow! The world building in this new series is phenomenal. That alone would suck you in. But it's the great characters, the constant edge of danger and darkness v. light that kept me on the edge of my seat. I will be making this series an auto buy! Loved it! Thanks again, Tessa Dawn, for another awesome book!

I loved the world building and the overall story, however I wasn't vested in the relationship between Zane and Jordan at. all.. Maybe it was Jordan constantly pushing Zane and his 'world' away, maybe it was no zing or mention of zing on her part when they met (minus saying Zane was good eye candy). So while I loved the thought of the world and the stories that could come out of the world....I really wanted to knock Jordan upside her head.

I really liked Blood Curse, so unfortunately I did keep comparing and this one didn't measure up to it. Plus for awhile nothing was really happening then once the story was picking up it was a lot of overt explaining and re-explaining. This series only has 2 books so far, so i'll give the second one a try and that'll decide if I continue or not.

This book was an intense introduction to an amazing new journey by Tessa Dawn. If you're a fan of her Blood Curse Series, you will enjoy this novel. At its very core, the world she's created is rooted in passion. Each character, whether living in the light or shrouded under the cover of darkness and evil, is passionate about their place in this existence. Tessa has a true gift for creating characters that her readers can relate to...characters that readers can empathize with, and characters that come to life in such a way that you verbally root for them, or in other cases...curse them. The story of Zane and Jordan is not your typical "star crossed love". As with her other novels, Tessa shows an intense character arc for them both as they discover who they truly are, individually, and eventually, together. If you're looking for a thrilling novel with love, action, and suspense...you've come to the right place. Welcome to the Pantheon of Dragons!

I really, really liked this book.

I love Tessa's books, the blood curse series is amazing and Zanaikeyros- Son of dragons is just as good. I've only read one other dragon shifter series so I'm new to the genre and I wasn't to interested in reading those types of books . With that said, this one is wonderful, I love the storyline and the world Tessa has created. I love how she writes very graphic fight and intimate scenes. This one wasn't as hot as the Blood Curse but it did have some hanky panky towards the end. Jordan, the female lead was very smart and analytical, Zane aka Zanaikeyros, was strong willed, smart and gentle but domineering (I don't think he could help it). The two were perfect for each other and I enjoyed reading about their blossoming relationship. It had great world building and mythical legend. I will definitely be reading the next one and so on. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Good, but not as good as expected

We have here the first book in a new series. It was not as exciting as the first book of the Blood Curse series. Maybe I expected too much being such an avid fan of Tessa Dawn. The main characters were interesting but Zane could have been a bit more intriguing. I liked Axe and Ghost much better than him. There could have been a bit more romance in this book. There is action and I liked that. Hopefully the next book will be much better. I didn't particularly care for the evil pagan characters. They seemed a bit weak to me and not the kind of characters you would love to hate. Overall as the start to a new series this was a great read. Looking forward to the next book and more of Tessa's great writing.

This did not read like a traditional Tessa Dawn book. I've read all her books and this one was like reading another author's work. I did not like the female protagonist at all nor her nonexistent relationship with Zane throughout most of the book. There was absolutely no relationship build between the two MCs; Jordan was resistant and didn't want a life with Zane whatsoever. She never warmed up to him until she discovered what would happen to him if she didn't go through with the ceremony. The Kyle Parker and Macy characters brought absolutely nothing to this story but to give Salem a way to get into Jordan's purse and into the Dragon's domain. Really?! Dumb. Disappointing read.

Another great start to a series by a wonderful author! A must read. The author has done it again creating an exciting and interesting world. We have some new sexy vampire dragon shifters who our heroines have to contend with in this new world. They are dangerous and aggressive as well as loving and protective. Our heroine must see through this hard exterior to decide whether or not to enter the temple on the tenth day. There they must accept their fate and be consecrated in the Temple of Seven to be immortal like their dragyri. A wonderful read and can't wait for the next book.

Holy moly can Tessa Dawn weave a story! The world building was amazing and Zane.............wow!! Loved seeing his and Jordan's story unfold although there were times I wanted to slap her. Pretty sure I'd be freaked out too if some huge buff looking dude told me I was their mate but still. Can't wait to learn more about the other dragyri and the Pantheon of Dragons. You have another hit series on your hands Tessa, I loved it!!

Yep, she did it again. This new book is a runaway, can't put it down wild ride, just like all of her others.
Zane is amazing, scary, powerful yet compelling. And Jordan is the kind of person you would want to hang out with. The dragons, the demons, and the dragyri in the lairs - wow. Just wow! Where can I find this portal?
