This was a light, funny, low angst story. Tabitha was funny and I loved that she wrote smutty books. Collin was a total hottie! Such a typical guy- some of the stuff he thought and said was hilarious! They were great together. I also loved seeing Greyson and Cal again- they are still my favorite couple!

Things Liars Hide is the second standalone novella in the Three Little Lies series, and it’s another light and enjoyable read.

Tabitha is hiding a big secret. I won’t give it away but it involves a subject that, as a reader, I’ve often wondered about. It’s my curiosity that kept me interested in the story.

Collin is a real douchenozzle in the beginning. He uses every opportunity to poke fun at Tabitha and push her buttons, all the while wanting to date her. He’s both lively and obnoxious—a bit like a young schoolboy who pulls a girl’s ponytails if he has a crush on her. It’s really immature and he curses like it’s his job. However, Collin redeems himself in my eyes with his supportive nature and persistent charm. Tabitha also has a tendency to sulk and act childishly. I think I would have rated this entertaining book higher if not for her behavior.

The author tries to incorporate a little forbidden romance aspect, but I wasn’t sold. The strong love/hate attraction that Tabitha feels towards Collin is more than enough without adding more conflict. A couple of important conversations are of the fade to black variety and I wanted more in depth resolutions, but I was pleasantly surprised by the plot development—particularly for a novella.

This story is unique, sexy, and just plain fun.

Tabitha has been hiding a secret from everyone. Her best friend and family have no idea what she has been doing in her spare time. When Tabitha bumps into her brother’s girlfriend, Greyson out shopping with another guy she sees red, how could anyone cheat on her brother? Turns out the guy is Colin, Greyson’s brother. Phew! She does feel a bit silly though.

She bumps into Colin again at a coffee shop and is quietly pleased to see him, he is really gorgeous and it feels like there might be some attraction between them. When Colin discovers her secret, he decides to use it as a reason to see her again - he has something she wants and he insists on meeting her in person.

This is just the beginning of a friendship that turns into so much for them. Now she is hiding two things from her family.

This is the second story in the Three Little Lies series. I listened to the audio version while I was pulling weeds in the garden.

Another cute read in this series. I've really enjoyed these books so far. I didn't like this one as much as the first one though and I took off half a star. I loved Tabitha up until one point. Then, she just ruined it for me.

Tabitha was a total bitch when her secret came out. Collin was such a perfect guy, supportive and sweet. Then she had to treat him like crap when SHE was the one who screwed up with having a secret in the first place and even let it out herself! It just pissed me off. He was the one who kept pursuing her and trying to apologize. I don't think she groveled enough and didn't deserve his sweet letter that made me swoon.

All in all though, I'm still looking forward to the next one!

This is second in a series and the characters from the first are important and present in this one. I highly recommend reading these in order.

This is even shorter than the first one, but again, it's exactly the right length for the story being told. Ney does a great job keeping her stories tight and I appreciate that she doesn't pad or extend to reach some ideal story length or whatever it is that makes authors pad and extend and throw in random plot points.

I'm not as enchanted with the protagonists of this one as I was in the first. Tabitha really is hiding the best of who she is from the ones she loves and I find that kind of thing painful—particularly, as in this case, when it's so unnecessary (due to said loved ones being supportive and fundamentally kind). Collin is outstanding, but not as much as Calvin was, either. I like his persistence and that he's exactly the good-natured tease Tabby needs. But he isn't a type that appeals to me on a personal basis.

Despite being less engaging on their own, though, I found myself engrossed in the story and enjoyed myself very much watching these two come together. I also liked their growth as they do and how each supports the best in the other. And Collin's enthusiastic support for Tabby was very engaging, and not least because I share the great good fortune of being involved with an author.

I'd call this a 4½ star read that got that high on outstanding execution and a fast pace and tightly-told story. Add some laugh-out-loud moments and I'm happy to round up.

A note about Steamy: This has one explicit sex scene. But it goes on long and detailed enough that it puts it in the middle of my steam tolerance. This, too, wasn't as well-done as the first, though it is certainly fitting for the characters.

So good.

I really enjoyed this story it was so funny in parts. The way these two characters got together was so good and cringe at the same time. Tabitha is a really good character she isn't the most confident girl she hates letting people down who she cares about her family mean a lot to her. She has been keeping a secret from them she doesn't know how to tell them it's not easy for her even if it is a great thing. Colin is very sexy confident and he likes Tabitha a lot he knew he had to get closer to her and the way he did was funny. I m really liking this series the last book was great and so is this book. The way the book is written is so good. I would highly recommend it i m lpoking forward to the next book after reading the epilogue.

Needing a change from the bullymances I have been reading, I have also been trying to clear my kindle of all my older books so scrolling through I came across Book #2 in Sara Ney's series #ThreeLittleLies. Those who have read Book #1 which for me was so long ago - back in September 2015, it was about Greyson and Cal. Now in Book #2 Greyson and Cal are still going strong and we are about to meet their siblings with Cal's sister Tabitha and Greyson's brother Collin. This book starts out with a misunderstanding and has Tabitha looking like a fool in front of Collin and Greyson, the book then jumps to Tabitha sitting in a cafe typing away as we learn that Tabitha has a secret, that she has kept from her family for over a year. She is the writer of a smutty romance novel under the pen name TE Thompson. As luck would have it, Collin discovers her secret and holds it over her head as blackmail to get her to have a date with him. Tabitha reluctantly agrees but soon finds herself actually enjoying herself and falling for Collin. What happens though when Tabitha's secret is revealed and she blames Collin for it? Will this be the end of the pair's HEA or will Tabitha realize that she didn't need to keep her writing and secret and that her friends and family will accept her for who she is and be proud of her. This part reminded me of myself as my first romance story and my writing gig online, I wrote under a pseudonym as I was worried about what my family would say if they came across the articles and stories , but as I got older I thought you know what - I am proud of what I write and I shouldn't be afraid of what my family think, so I started to write under my real name. I am now looking forward to reading Book #3 which looks like it will be Tabitha's friend Daphne's story with Collin's friend Dex. Stay tuned for Book #3 in the #ThreeLittleLies series by Sara Ney.

This is book 2 in the #threelittlelies novella series. It can be read as a standalone. But if you’ve read book 1 then this is Grey’s older brother and Cal’s older sister and told from their dual first person POV.

“…it feels like fishing for a boyfriend in the family pond.”

This story is cute, funny, and lighthearted. I’m always weary of blurbs that talk about “secrets” because rarely are they original and often they are either overblown drama or something unromantic. But that’s not the case here. Tabitha’s secret is really cute and one I think romance readers will get a smile out of. I definitely got a chuckle out of her “book-bosomed” scene:

“Yeah, you heard me—she’s smelling the book. Who does that? Then, as if that wasn’t weird enough, Tabitha grasps the book tightly, clutches it to her chest, and…hugs it?”

The entire coffee shop scene had me giggling and the “hostage situation”…well there’s some adorable humor in this story. Collin, 26, gets credit for a lot of it. He’s a great down-to-earth guy who’s also an attractive mix of confident and mischievous.

“I’ve seen what I’ve seen and I can’t un-see it.”

I love the way he toyed with spunky but high strung Tabitha, 24, over the situation.
It was an enjoyable read although it didn’t quite have the depth between the couple like the first book. Grey and Cal make appearances though and I loved seeing them again, even if only for brief glimpses. It actually made me want to read their book again!

3.5 stars. this was cute and funny. I just didn't like it as much as the first one. At one point the herione upset me.. she totally overreacted! Colin's little letter was so adorable and sweet :) I liked him better than the h. Other than that sweet, light read. I liked that we see Cal and Grey (couple from first book).I want more with them.

Tabitha was a bit of a dickhead towards the end and the sex was a bit disappointing but this was still a decent read.

The cuteness is REAL!

A light little novel from Sara Ney.

Tabitha is working for her family’s business in construction. She also got a secret. She writes.
Loves to write, and haven’t told a soul. Until Collin stumbles over her secret, and she finds out whether or not sharing her passion with a man she finds attractive, sweet and kind is worth it.
Also did I mention it’s her brothers new girlfriends BIG BROTHER! This is bound to stir trouble👏

Read: 17/04/2019
1st Rating: 3 stars
Genre/sub-genres: New adult romance
Cover: 2 stars
POV’s: Dual - 1st person - (Tabitha & Collin+ 1 chapter with Daphne)
Will I recommend: Yes, it’s short, light and sweet.

Tabitha Thompson has a dirty little secret - ones that she’s hiding from everyone, so when a nosy hottie invades her life, staking claim on her dirty mind, supporting her dream, and making her words a reality, how can Tabitha resist, even if it means letting someone know about her secret passion.

Tabitha and Collin’s story illustrates how sometimes life can imitate art in the sexiest of ways, and it can also change the course of individuals’ lives when they least expect it, either because they were too scared to reach for their dream or just needed someone to push them into putting themselves out there for everyone to see.

Things Liars Hide is definitely steamier than Things Liars Say, which makes complete sense due to Tabitha’s secret career and Collin’s attempt to use her words against her in the most deliciously sensual ways. The couple from the first book plays a pivotal role in book two, which is one of the reasons for Tabitha’s fears and hesitancy when it comes to pursuing anything with Collin or her newfound career.

Well is't Collin just the cutest, most insistent guy ever!!!! I mean I guess he seen what he wanted and he went for it...like really went for it!
Tabitha is such a spazz...a very attractive one. Collin set his sights on her and did not let up. They were so cute together...he was so supportive and loving. Tabitha finally got her head out of her butt and started letting him be the guy she needed. I love this series so much...I can't wait to read the one!

Eccomi qui, di nuovo, per parlarvi di questo spassosissimo secondo volume della serie Three Little Lies. Incredibile come, in poche pagine, l'autrice riesca a concentrare delle storie complete.

«𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏 𝑲𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒓.» 𝑻𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒂 𝒎𝒊 𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒂. «𝑪𝒐𝒔𝒂 𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒍𝒐 𝒄𝒊 𝒇𝒂𝒊 𝒒𝒖𝒊?»
«𝑵𝒐𝒏 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒊 𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒛𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒊̀ 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒅𝒊 𝒗𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊.»

Things Liars Hide fell short for me big time. Even if I'd read this straight after Things Liars Say I don't think I would like it more. These could easily be read as stand alones, you don't need to have read the first book as you'll still see those characters, just not as main characters.

I hate to say it by the best parts of this book were with Cal and Greyson, those two are sweet with a capital S! But Colin and Tabitha.... I just didn't feel it as much. Even the sexual tension at the beginning and when Colin was flirting which came across as so sleezy and eugh... I just didn't feel any of it.

I read this book in 1 sitting, if I hadn't of I probably wouldn't have bothered to finish it. It was ok, I didn't love it, it passed the time. Colin and Tabitha just weren't for me at all. 3 stars

I think this one was my favorite in The three little lies series. Collin was so cocky in the beginning. And the first time they meet? Hilarious and embarrassing. Well for Tabitha.
I loved her characterization. She is smart, confident and independent woman with an overdose of sass. And she has a secret. She keeps meeting Collin to hide her secret when unknowingly they fall in love.
That scene from their first date?? Oh my god!!!
Loved this book!

I think what didn't convince me enough is Collin but I believe it has to do with the fact he was just there, being a vessel so Tabitha could fall in love with. I don't really know the guy because he just doesn't really develop after they got together...so yeah that's why
