This wonderful book has two parts: the first, and arguably main part, is the story of Clemente Nascimento, one of the founders of Brazilian Punk back in the late 1970s and early 1980s, with bands like Inocentes and Restos do Nada . The second is, in many ways, a follow-up to Marcelo Rubens Paiva's seminal book Feliz Ano Velho , chronicling the author's first encounters with punk and how the movement helped him in the years following the accident and his success.
This is a great book if one is looking to understand the beginnings of a revolution in music, of an urban movement.
