A STORY OF FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE which may inspire, amuse, or offend, possibly all of the above. A reputedly sinful, but otherwise nice, GWM struggles to find his place in this world (and the next). By the author of IF I'D A KNOWED: A GAY WRITER WRITES ABOUT WRITING AND OTHER STUFF.
I started to read this book because it promised to discuss the friction between being religious and being gay. I am not sure if it resolves that argument for me, but it was very interesting and I learned a lot about Ignatius. The author's style is a little quirky, but enjoyable with touches of humour. The sections are relatively short, which makes it easy to read in small bites.
This book was good. With its touches of humour and easy readability, especially in small bits, this book is one that is worth picking up if you want to do some exploration of having faith and being gay should you want to do that exploring.
