Chuck Wendig is a novelist, a screenwriter, and a freelance penmonkey. He has contributed over two million words to the roleplaying game industry, and was the developer of the popular Hunter: The Vigil game line (White Wolf Game Studios / CCP).
He, along with writing partner Lance Weiler, is a fellow of the Sundance Film Festival Screenwriter's Lab (2010). Their short film, Pandemic, will show at the Sundance Film Festival 2011, and their feature film HiM is in development with producer Ted Hope.
Chuck's novel Double Dead will be out in November, 2011.
He's written too much. He should probably stop. Give him a wide berth, as he might be drunk and untrustworthy. He currently lives in the wilds of Pennsyltucky with a wonderful wife and two very stupid dogs. He is represented by Stacia Decker of the Donald Maass Literary Agency.

It's honestly moving so fast, it's hard for me to justify giving this anything higher than 2 stars. If this is what to expect for the remaining comics of this series, this is going to be a pretty quick/light read-through. Which I am okay with.
At this point you are better off just re-watching TFA to experience the full story versus getting the speed run delivery here. But... maybe that is their 'Adaptation'... using Force Speed to get through this content.
This graphic novel is an exact summary of the movie. As book 5 of a series, this series would be a nice addition to a collection if you have students highly interested in Star Wars.
Just one more to go. At least it has that going for it. Once more, this issue is plagued with inconsistent art (Snoke's scarring is almost entirely gone in one panel, multiple Ren panels would make good meme material, and Leia's head keeps changing shape and seems related to onions etc), but at least there's a panel of Phasma falling into a garbage compactor. For me, that was easily the highlight of the issue.
The now-infamous confrontation between Han and Ren was handled rather plainly. Lots of close-ups of the two characters' faces, and that's all there is to the reactions of the bystanders and Leia. Tiny boxes with their heads showing shock and resignation. The issue once again fails in terms of pacing, giving the climax no time to sink in, and just going for a cheap cliffhanger.
