If you're looking at the long game, this could be effective. It gives a different view of people and youth and how relationships are such a key component of ministry, evangelization, and kerygma.

Good stuff. Succinctly stated but deep and simple concepts to mull over. Particularly helpful is pointing out the gap between initial conversion and missionary evangelization, which is catechesis and formation. With "New Evangelization" buzzing around my mind, this book helped me build a conceptual bridge (rooted in Church documents/teaching) between Sherry Wedell's Forming Intentional Disciples and St. Paul Street Evangelization.

Jim and Eric have a vision of youth ministry unlike what in the past has been offered. They put into words what to expect if your willing to join their revolution. It is an easy step by step instruction guide for youth ministers and parishes. They let you know it won't be easy, but it might just change how our children experience their faith that will produce life long results.
