Brad strives to understand his undeniable attraction towards Dora as she apparently reveals an alternative vision of reality which leaves him in deep discomfort. The aliens unexpectedly make contact with Area 51 and indirectly reveal a compromised future for humanity. Ling, despite the terrible knowledge she possesses, has plans for Chen as she pushes her ideology forward. Huifang struggles to accept her fate as her world quickly unravels. Height has one final surprise for Brad as he puts their lives at risk. Brad cannot accept humanity's destiny, even if he realizes that there is no solution to impede the future from happening.
