This is a 3.5 star read.

A fun haunted house read for Halloween with our favourite medium Angela Panther. As per usual she drags her bestie along and when things get more than a little out of hand, summons her Ma for some celestial help.
I couldn't help feel that this short story really wanted to be longer but the author was reining it in. The conclusion, though beautiful, felt a little rushed.

What do you do when the ghosts that you are helping don't want your help and refuse to move on? Why call in your ghostly mom of course! Hilarity ensues as Mel and Angela try to help ghosts hanging out in a "haunted" house move on before someone still living gets seriously hurt, but the ghosts just aren't having it! The characters are so well developed that their responses to the plot events will have you laughing out loud and jumping at loud noises as well. Ever wonder if you have a ghost following you around? You just might start to wonder after reading this series!

An entertaining, short read for the Halloween season, this is suitably haunting yet touching at the same time. A few editing misses kept me from hitting that fifth star. Regardless, I will be checking out more by this author, who goes above and beyond for her readers.

This wasn't a bad book. Even though I don't like short stories/novellas and even though I hadn't read any of the books in the series, this one was easy to understand. It wasn't exactly a stand-alone book but it is readable and enjoyable as a stand-alone book.

The two main characters are Angela (a psychic who can see and talks to spirits/ghosts), and her friend Mel who has no talent other than friendship with Angela. And Ma, Angela's deceased mom who manifests as a ghost and helps her daughter out. Angela's husband is mentioned but not dwelled on as is her boss. Her son Joss has a cameo appearance and her daughter is mentioned.

The plot involves a haunted mansion on the night before Halloween. This mansion is full of ghosts and therein lies the complete story (which I am not going to reveal in any way, shape, or form). :)

When Angela has a dream about a haunted house she drags Mel along with her to investigate. They encounter a ton of paranormal activity but Angela needs to find the real reason for her dream. Can her deceased mother help her?

I’m loving these novellas! I really liked this one. The various different spirits, helping solve a 40 year old mystery and Fran stealing the show like always! Definitely a good, quick read

Tragic short story about Angela Panther, a psychic medium who has a dream of an old abandoned mansion she she thinks this is a sign to use her sleuth/psychic abilities. The characters are good and work well together; Mel is Angela's sidekick and her mother who is a ghost/celestial super sleuth find out a tragic story in the mansion and get together to work on the problem.

The Ghosts: A Midlife Psychic medium Series Novella is part of the Midlife Psychic Medium series by Carolyn Ridder Aspenson.

Angela and Mel went to a purportedly haunted house after Angela had a dream about it. They confirmed that it was haunted. Not everyone was happy to see them and cross over. Fran played an important role in the story. I wasn’t expecting the ending.

WOW again!!!

Such an interesting quick story that again surprised me. I thought I had it figured out , however I was surprised. That takes some doing because I normally can figure out the story before the end.

Eyes in the window of an abandoned house

Angela and Mel decided to visit an old mill. They found out the mill is haunted, and the ghosts that are there are almost demonic. What can they do to help send these demons on there ways?

But who was upstairs?

This was sad in a way of who was causing all the anger in the haunted house. It was great when Fran brought their Mother. But now I'm sitting here wondering if the last sentence meant they stayed in that house or were there still more? I'm left confused.

A Halloween short

Not one of her best as a psychic and her ghost mom help a haunted house full of ghosts pass on to the other side. Pass up this one.

missing mom and 3 ghosts

It was a great story and getting it from a few different sources help make the story short but a good feeling at the end

A perfect Halloween tale. The spookiest Angela Panther adventure yet. Only Carolyn Ridder Aspenson can give you the chills as you enter a truly haunted house but leave you laughing out loud with Ang & Mel's witty banter. I love this duo.
