This had a genuine feel for how things could possibly go after the end of the first game (obviously including the DLC), assuming of course that the Walrider saw fit to heal and inhabit Miles' body in the end to continue its own existence. Well written even with the typos, a great sense of character for Miles, the Walrider, and Waylon, and a nice depiction of what Waylon's family might be like - the kids' names were cute, one giving a small shout-out to Supernatural fans.
Once I started I didn't want to put this down but, alas, exhaustion set in and prevented me from finishing it in one go. The biggest downside to this fic is that the sequel (part 2 of maybe(!) 3? oh I hope) isn't out yet and now I'm waiting along with everyone else. I can't wait for malatruse to start posting the rest of the series, I really want to see where Miles and Waylon go from here (both in plot and in future relationship).
