Review of Defy by L.J. Shen:



Pardon my language but L.J. Shen has written one of the hottest student teacher forbidden romance that I have read this year. In this sexy and steamy novella, she introduces readers to Melody Greene, a newly acquired teacher at an elite private high school and her hot sizzling forbidden romance with a student that is eight years younger than her.



Melody loved to dance but when an unforeseen accident derailed her dream, she is left with the only option of being a teacher. With bills piling up, Melody’s financial are very tight so she needs this teaching job. When Jaime, a high school senior sort of blackmails Melody, she is in a rude awakening when this student informs her that he wants to do filthy and sexual things to her. Melody should be alarmed by Jaime, since he is the son of the Principal but she agrees to his after school lesson of foreplay and orgasms.

“He opened my mouth with his tongue and devoured me like I was his fucking last meal. His tongue attacked mine, owning my mouth, licking every part and swallowing my needy grunts.”

Jaime and Melody both laid out the rules of their secret liaison, that this thing between them stays between them and it ends the minute he graduates. Well, it didn’t take long for either Melody and Jaime to develop feelings for one another. Melody is well aware that she slept with her student but she loved it. She loved this sexual awakening that Jaime ignited in her. But what happens when Jaime’s mom discovers this secret affair? Will Melody defy others whom may consider their relationship wrong and follow her heart?

Defy was a fun, sexy, and steamy novella that pushes the boundaries of love and defiance. This forbidden morsel was layered with seduction and grittiness that I didn’t want their story to end. As much as I loved reading about Jaime and Melody’s secret affair, I loved that L.J. Shen was able to introduce Viscous, a secondary character that will be getting his own book next. I seriously can’t wait for his book. But in the meantime, if you are looking for a hot, seductive, and titillating forbidden romance that was both naughty and nice then this novella is definitively for you.

I think it’s fitting that match point goes to Rachel Blaufeld as she serves up one sexy, emotional forbidden romance between a college rising tennis star and her university coach in Break Point

Jules is the newest member of her university tennis program all in thanks to the recruit of Coach King. Jules mostly keeps to herself after an incident that occurred from her previous school leaving her wary of others. So when Jules interacts with Coach King, she feels comfortable with him...a little too comfortable when she can’t help herself fantasizing about him. Little did she know the feeling was mutual.



Andrew King knew he was playing with fire when he crossed that line that blurred the relationship of student and coach. Drew found himself being drawn to Jules and couldn’t help it. But what happens when their growing sexual attraction to one another puts his job and Jules’ reputation on the line? With the ball on his court, will Drew be serving an ace or will he find himself at double fault?

Break Point was a sexy heartfelt introduction to Jules and Drew. I seriously can’t wait for the continuation of their story as Rachel Blaufeld did an amazing job serving up a romance that was forbidden, touching, and sexy.

Star Pupil by Rochelle Paige is a fast paced sexy insta-love student teacher romance. This book is definitely your feel good happy quick read novella. With a lovable heroine and an alpha-protective hero, Rochelle Paige will have readers thirsting for knowledge as this teacher shows his student that brains and beauty are a lethal combo.



Avery was a 17 year old student who was discovered in a mall. As an upcoming teen movie actress, Avery landed a big roll for a Hollywood film. Being a minor, Avery has to complete her high school education on set with an assigned teacher from the production studio. Griffin Stone owns the teaching company and when he first laid eyes on Avery, he was a goner. He wanted her and was ready to claim her as his once she turned 18 years.

Griffin patiently waited till Avery turned 18 and you could say the rest was history as this teacher made sure Avery was his Star Pupil. But what happens when Avery’s momanger tries to interfere with Avery’s love life?

So if you are looking for quick sexy student teacher romance with a rising starlet and her on set teacher then this novella by Rochelle Paige is the book for you.

Elle Christensen "Spring fling"
A totally safe story about an alpha who see his one and does everything for her. He is a teacher and moves to Boston to teach and to be with her. A sweet epilogue is even included!

Aria Cole "Perfect Chemistry"
Two virgins coming together for the first time him the teacher and her the student. They wait a while to have kids but are settled into life. The epilogue is 4 years later. It's good but not amazing because it followed Elle's book.

Rochelle Paige Star Pupil
A cute story of a young actress and a studio teacher (he owns the company that supplies the teachers to actress and actors on sets). She is sweet with a bitch for a mother. They have a nice relationship and get married in Vegas.

This story is about a riding school with lesson being learnt on both sides learning to love and trust! A sweet hot teacher student story!

The ones I would avoid personally that are mostly ONS and HFN stories that lead to nothing in my opinion (this is my review I can say this, right?)
The worst stories are the first 5. I can give detail to those who want it but honestly I don't want to review these stories here.
I can however answer questions about those or any stories in this book for those who have them.
Ask away!

All school themed and filled with steam! Except for Stealing Miss Brooks Sloane Howell book, no note worthy sex scenes in that one.
LOVED IT!

I've only read the Jane Harvey Berrick story Behind the Wall (he's an intense, tough and gorgeous con, she's his prison teacher) but if they're all as hot and forbidden as that then I'm all in.

I love the way this author shows you a character's vulnerability, it's not just about his heat seeking missile (although it does get more than a mention) and the forbidden theme really ramped up the tension, making it super naughty. And all in a standalone short story too. I want more.

Just brilliant.

I taught Jaime, and he was one of the few kids who wouldn’t yell/scream/throw crap at people in English Lit. He wasn’t a good student by any stretch of the imagination, but he was too busy with his cell phone to make trouble in my class.
“Sorry.” I released a pained breath, my shoulders sagging in defeat.

The sudden mention of my father has anger boiling inside of me and me ignoring the fact that she called me by my full first name only my mother gets away with saying. “I don’t know him. What the hell does that matter?”
She drops her head again. This whole cowering-when-spoken-to-firmly is starting to really piss me off. Reaching toward her, I start to grip her chin but think better of it. Instead, I give her a little wave until our eyes meet again. “Stop doing that. Look at me, lady.”
She swallows, and her lip wobbles as if she might cry. With a sigh, I soften. “Just look at me. I’m trying to help you. If you appear intimidated, the class will eat you for lunch. You’re scared of your own shadow. Mrs. Macmillan, you need to chill the hell out.”

What is better than a virginal and innocent student coupled with a smoking hot teacher?! It’s that after all, they are both equally inexperienced in the sexual matters, but that doesn’t stop them from creating some scorchingly hot moments, every time Devon and Karoline in close proximity, and that is not even talking about when, after the wait for her adulthood is official, and then all bets were off! LOL
The result is yet another sweet and steamy smutty read that will more than satisfy your taboo cravings in the most delicious way! <3

Star Pupil by Rochelle Paige – 5 Stars

Star Pupil was a big different from these other taboo stories, but not in any way less appealing or hot. From the moment Griffin set eyes on Avery – a teenager actress with a big role and a great future ahead of her – he was lost for her, and did all the arrangements and everything in his power to, at the right time, take the position as her teacher, and that way showing her what he already knew in his heart, that she was his!
I loved this different kind of insta-love, on a movie set with a protective alpha teacher that will stop at nothing to take care of his girl! <3

Dirty Lessons by C. M. Steele – 4.5 Stars

Another C. M. Steele brand of OTT Alpha in the form a teacher fighting his attraction to his student. Not that he resisted for long (FYI, just some hours, LOL), the appeal and magnetism was just to great to ignore, and he unleashed his true caveman side, and literally took Kaci as his woman and never let go! <3

Riding Through by Dani Wyatt – 5 Stars

I love Dani Wyatt’s books, but this little treat stole my heart! Even though it’s a shorter read, we get all the goodness and development of a full length novel, since it has all these wonderful elements that draw and enrapture us into the couples story!
Reed is, so far, and without a shadow of a doubt my favorite of Dani’s delicious heroes! Totally swoon-worthy (thought after thought of pure gold), alpha and with a priceless heart! Oh, Reed… <3


Ps. This ones I’ve read the ones I had acknowledge beforehand that are the completely safe ones of the bundle, but there’s plenty there for all tastes, and I’m sure equally as brilliant!!!!

I had the pleasure of early reading In This Moment by Alison G. Bailey. It's no secret that I am a HUGE fan of this author. She writes with such grace and beauty in all of her stories - each word, each intricate detail selected with such care to give readers a beautiful and emotional experience when reading one of her books.

In This Moment is a novella in the Hot For Teacher box set. Cadence Fletcher is starting over in life - new beginnings, new love after going through so much in her life. She doesn't expect anything but a fun night out with a friend when she meets Luken. Someone who clearly takes her breath away and makes her feel special; something that she hasn't felt in so long.

This is a novella so of course, I won't be giving away any part of the story, but I will say this...Alison G. Bailey packs so much in this short story. So much that it was hard for me to let these characters go because I wanted more. Readers who have never read this author that look for new stories, well-written words and characters who will touch your heart and soul should pick up on a book by Ms. Bailey - I promise that you will enjoy it!

Stealing Mrs. Brooks Review:
Whoa Teacher!! A short sexy read about a ball player who's hot for his Lit teacher. In smooth Sloane style, it's a fun, steamy read that gives into every guys fantasy about his teacher crush. The characters are amazing, the story perfect. I can't wait for the whole Anthology to hit!!


Firecracker Review:
This is the first time I'm reading Royalty Carmen, and she's made me a fan! Art has never looked so good to me until reading Firecracker! A broken heart, a great girl friend, and a road trip that leads to a sexy as hell art teacher that leaves you hot an bothered! A great add to this anthology!!!

So, I thought the only Alison G. Bailey man I needed in my life was Hart (The Dance). But, man was I wrong—I think I'll be snatching up Luken as well. And sorry, this girl does not believe in sharing. For once in my book boyfriend life I wouldn't mind being considered a cougar. Luken has to be one of the most well written 25-year-olds I have read in a long time. His huge heart, flirtatiousness, sweetness, ambition, determination, and intensity had me falling to my knees in adoration. Luken's character is the epitome of what I would look for in a book boyfriend. This delicious man definitely gave Hart a run for his money.

Cadence was one of those woman I would have no trouble seeing as my best friend. I absolutely loved her to pieces, maybe even more so than her counterpart. There was just so much realness about Caddie; so much to relate to on a personal level. Her character was raw and gritty in the sense that she faced real life struggles. Nothing about her was glamorized to give us a cloud of fairy tale. No, Cadence faced self-doubt, insecurity, extreme stubbornness, and a battle most of us couldn't even begin to imagine. Her life was anything but a fairy tale. What I loved the most about her was the journey of recovery and self-discovery/worth that Alison took us on. I learned so much from Cadence’s character. She will forever be one of my favorite heroines.

I’m not one for big age gaps—not even close to being a fan of them; in fact, it’s one of those tropes that pushes me right outside my comfort zone. However, I didn’t ever once feel uncomfortable while reading, In this Moment (Hot For Teacher Box Set) by Alison G. Bailey. Cadence and Luken were so well developed and their romance so full of vibrancy that the thought of their ages never really crossed my mind, unless Caddie mentioned it. I was completely and utterly enchanted by this couple. There were even parts where I was yelling at Caddie to get the FOVER the whole age thing and just grasp onto Luken and never let go.

My only complaint—the story was way too short. I NEEDED more Luken and Cadence. Hell, I even needed more Grace and Clayton, who by the way were some wicked fun secondary characters. If you can't tell, I HIGHLY recommend picking up this Box Set, not only to experience Caddie and Luken, but to also contribute to a good cause.

3.5 -couldn't read all the stories- Stars

I've tried reading all I could from this anthology. Some stories were great, some not so much, and the rest was left unread because I either lost interest after only reading a few pages, or I wasn't captured by the blurb enough to start it. Although I'm not opposed to a superbly written teacher x student story, I can now confidently say that this trope is not a favourite of mine. I really only picked this collection of short stories up because I was DESPERATE to read Defy after the awesomeness that was Vicious.

Standout short stories for me were:

P.S - I gave this whole anthology 3.5 stars because some fantastic stories, leveled out all of the below average stories. DNF's and ignored stories were not included in my overall rating cos I'm not that big of a bitch (although some may beg to differ).

This is a review for Mara White's 'Playing With Fire,' a sweetly sexy coming-of-age story about the new girl in school who also happens to like girls.

Delphine winds up in Ohio with her divorced mom, a far cry from the prestigious dance academy she attended in New York. She is befriended by an odd but loyal friend, Alex, and sets her sights on the beautiful dance teacher, Ms. Amber Johnson. Their romance is more sweet than sizzling hot, but Ms. Johnson is the one who knows they cannot continue in any kind of relationship.

Lucky for Delphine, Amber convinces her of the benefits of joining the dance team (which means a chance for a trip back to New York for the annual competition). I loved that none of the high school students were stereotyped characters in this novella, and everyone seemed to be quite accepting and open to have Delphine in their midst. That was a plus for me!

I adored the lovely and passionate Epilogue and was so happy for these characters to find their beautiful HEA's. I can't wait to read the rest of the stories in this amazing anthology!

This review is for Behind the Wall by Jane Harvey-Berrick.

Oh wow, what a touching read. The story of Ella and Garrett. She is the teacher determined to make a difference for a group of prisoners stuck behind bars and he is the stand-out student who becomes more to her than just her aide.

Even within this short novella, the author has once again given us a story with real emotion and a budding forbidden romance that warmed my heart. There is certain kind of hell, of course, being stuck in the four walls of a prison cell, but Ella becomes a lifeline for Garrett in the short time they are together and it was true joy watching as his hard edges began to soften.

There is a beautiful tenderness that is shared between Ella and Garrett and one can hope that it will continue to translate to a time when the barriers between them are long forgotten.

I'm looking forward to reading this entire box set but have to say this is one helluva great start.

After reading Vicious and finding out there was a novella already out about Jaime, I definitely had to read his story and I was so glad I did.

It was interesting seeing how another HotHole handles himself and from his POV instead of Vicious'. We got little pieces here and there in Vicious' story about Jaime wanting his teacher but I was a little shocked at what extremes he went through to get her.

And Melody absolutely put up no fight whatsoever! But besides it being Jaime, she has her reasons and yes, a lot of it is just wanting sex with Jaime!



My favorite part was the times when Jaime opened up to Melody when they played Truth or Dare. I just loved that and wish we could see more of his romantic side.

But that's the problem with novellas...they're too short and this one certainly leaves you wanting more. I especially want more about what was going on with them from where this novella leaves off to where they end up in Vicious' book.

L.J. Shen said when she releases the novella (since the anthology, Hot for Teacher, that it was initially released in has been pulled) that there will added bonus scenes and I can't wait to read that!

♦ BTW ~ I can't believe I'm saying this (yes, I can) but Vicious is even more of a jerk in this book! However, I loved getting more scenes of him and Emilia!

I have read a couple of these novellas, and I have to say, it's a pretty wonderful collection. Student/teacher is not my cuppa but the insta love is :) I'll most likely review them individually if possible, but will give a rating for each as I read them. For 19 stories by good authors and .99 cents, you can't beat it!

DEFY BY L.J. SHEN
I am a huge fan of L.J. Shen and her books. Defy was phenomenal and story featuring Jaimie and his Lit teacher, Melody. It was hot, sexy, sultry and just dripping with passion that it almost made my kindle to burst into flames. So hot. Wow. I wanted more. This novella also is an introduction to a new series that I cant simply wait. I loved Jaimie. For an 18 year old boy, he was all male and alpha and find myself having illicit thoughts about him lol. Melody was spunky and strong. L j. Shen never disappoints when it comes to her characters. I cannot wait for me books in this series.

SALACIOUS BY A. ZAVARELLI
I love books by A. Zavarelli. Salacious was a hot book no doubt but there was so much angst that made me become more drawn to the story. It was an interesting story that was so captivating. I actually wanted more and I wish it was full length because there was more to be explored. I loved Chloe and Keller. They each had a story that pulled my heartstrings and of course Keller with his controlling side that made me swoon. I will definitely would want a bite of Mr. Vaughn. Oh yes. I enjoyed this short story so much.

LEARNING THE LAW BY CELIA AARON
Celia Aaron knows how to write a hot and sexy novella. She always knows how to give a sultry and sexy book. Learning the Law was one of the hottest book. It was drop dead gorgeous drippled in sexiness and hot lava. I enjoyed it. Professor Elliot, omg, he was just so possessive and protective. He made swoon. I want a Professor Elliot in my life. He was so controlling. Penny was quirky and different. I loved that. This definitely made my kindle sizzle.

LUCKY CHANCE BY CARINA ADAMS
This is my first book by Carina Adams and what a debut indeed. Lucky Chance was a sweet and lustful story that had my eyes glued to the book. I wanted Lucky and Sunny to be together but I am happy I got a quirky and fun book that made me tingle. It certainly made me tingle. Wow, the sex scenes were hot as hell. I found Lucky a bit cocky and Sunny was spunky and sassy. I loved their lusty chemistry. Sometimes you can only get one night.

IN THE MOMENT BY ALISON G. BAILEY
This is also my first book by Alison G. Bailey. I was wowed by the difference. I liked that there was a switch up. This time the teacher was younger and the student older. The age difference was unique. This book was more than a teacher student romance but a woman's sexual self discovery after battling a disease. I loved that it was more emotional and I felt the author was a genius to add emotion into a story. Cadence and Luken had that special chemistry that made this book so captivating.

BREAK POINT BY RACHEL BLAUFELD
Rachel Blaufeld always gives us an engaging story and she totally nailed with Break Point. It was heartfelt, angsty and a sweet story. However, I did not expect a cliffhanger and what a cliffhanger. I cannot wait for Part 2. It is going to be epic.

FIRECRACKER BY ROYA CARMEN
This is my first book by Roya Carmen and I was blown away by it. She definitely knows how to write a sex scenes. It was filled with hot passion and fiery that my ovaries wanted to explode. True story lol. Samantha was so funny lol. I felt sorry for her about being dumped but then got jealous she snagged a French Canadian. Holy Smokes, Alex was just on another level. I definitely loved this story.

SPRING FLING BY ELLE CHRISTENSEN
Of all the book in the anthology, this was the craziest lol. I found myself blown away by the plot and the characters in this book lol. What started as a fling turned out to be something magical. Of course, there were some hot scenes that made my jaw drop a lot lol. Hahaha, it was because of Logan lol. He was crazy but I loved that he was sure of himself and ready to get what he want. Of course, oozing with that dominant sex appeal. Yep, Abby did not stand a chance to say no to him. I would not.

STEALING MISS BROOKS BY SLOANE HOWELL
I love Sloane Howell's book. They are always different, quirky, funny, sarcastic and sometimes crazy. Stealing Miss Brooks was like that. I loved that there was some humor that made me smile a lot. Jeremiah was cocky and the was he pursued Miss Brooks was so infectious. Miss Brooks did not take no shit from Jeremiah and that made me admire her more. Plus I loved that the short story had more plot in the story and balance. It was pure genius.

SCHOOLED BY A SENIOR NY K. WEBSTER
I am huge fan of K. Webster. She always brings something extra different in her books. Schooled by a senior was a twisty, edgy and extra hot book. It had me on the edge of my seat lol. It was more than teacher/student book and I loved that. The twist in the book totally elevated the story and gave a huge dynamic to the story. Aut started out as an asshole and I kinda hated him a bit until he showed he had a sweet and protective side Of course he had a dirty mouth that made me fan and the sex scenes were sizzling hot. I felt so sorry for Maise and her situation. Schooled by a senior was more taboo than most of the stories.

PERFECT CHEMISTRY BY ARIA COLE
This is my first book by Aria Cole and I enjoyed it so much. It was sweet, hot and drippled with tension and love. Karoline was an interesting and strong heroine and I loved Devon was so devoted to her. I will definitely be reading more books from Aria Cole.

ILLICIT BY AVA HARRISON
Judging by name illicit, you just know that bad and naughty things are going to happen in this book. Definitely some naughty things were happening. Wow, this was a sexy book. I had to fan myself a lot lol. Not only was it hot but there was some drama and angst in the book. This gave it such a powerful and captivating edge. Lynn and Carson had the most interesting chemistry but it was authentic.

BEHIND THE WALL BY JANE HARVEY-BERRICK
Behind the Wall was a dark and intense story in the anthology. Not only was it different but it had a setting that was very interesting and memorable. I even got a bit emotional because the story really moved me a lot. Dane had done some bad things but I could see that he had some remorse about it and it made him more humane. I liked that. Of course Ella played a central role in helping Dane. I am glad that she stayed with him regardless of who he was.

STAR PUPIL BY ROCHELLE PAIGE
Star Pupil was such a sweet and mesmerizing story. I found myself smiling and happy when I was reading it. It gave me the happy tingles. Plus Griffin and Avery were that couple that you just wanted to be friends. Griffin was a bot of a stalker. Hahahaha, but I loved he was protective of Avery and genuinely cared for her.

SHUT UP AND DANCE BY Q.T. RUBY
Shut and Dance was another sweet and sensual story that also made me smile so hard. I just fell in love with the story so much. It was one of those that I felt so comfortable with. Reggie and Cory were that couple that was so simply lovable to me. I will definitely to read more books from Q.T. Ruby.

DIRTY LESSONS BY C.M. STEELE
This is also another first for me from C.M. Steele. Dirty Lessons had so much heart in it which definitely touched my soul in a big way. I felt sorry for Kaci with the life she had. She had a bad life but I loved that Jacob came to the rescue for her. Of course falling in love with your student can be controversial but he was protective and caring to Kaci. I loved that. It was such a touching story to me.

TEACH ME, SIR BY JULIA SYKES
Wow, this was a red hot and sexy book. Teach Me, Sir had some consensual BDSM scene that was just beautiful written. I loved that it was authentic and it did not feel forced nor was it gruesome. It was a simple story with a straightforward BDSM scenes. Professor Parker was so dominant. I even wanted him to spank me lol. It was hot and drippled with honey.

PLAYING WITH FIRE BY MARA WHITE
I was so excited that I got a story with a same sex couple. I feel like same sex couples are just beautiful people who are comfortable with their sexuality. It was brilliantly portrayed in this book. I was so happy. Plus I just gained new author I am going to stalk more.

RIDING THROUGH BY DANI WYATT
This story reminded of those horse shows I used to watch when I was young. I loved that memory lol and I was so stoked that it brought out that memory. Riding Through was a story that was purely perfection. It had a little bit of angst. It had some drama. I was just amazed by it and it gave a very significant edge. Reed Sawyer, omg, I am in love with him lol. He was such dynamic and protective. I loved hoe he was there for Constance. What a charming story.

So now you see, Hot for Teacher caters for everyone. It has different settings and stories tat were amazing to read. I loved every single one. Plus I popped my cherry on anthologies/box sets with various authors. It was so exciting.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME by Q.T. RUBY: This is so good, I smiled a lot and even laughed, but overall it was a sweet sugary non-courting story with an HEA ending. Reggie is in her last semester and has to pick up a P.E. class to be able to graduate and not lower her GPA.
Reggie and her roommate Melanie/Mel go out to a local bar for the evening and Reggie has an encounter with a HOT guy who ends up asking her out for the following Saturday night. Reggie agrees and they exchange numbers so they can confirm/change anything before that time.
Reggie goes to the Ballroom dancing class, (PE replacement) Professor Blink is the instructor and also her partner during class and it goes as expected. Her next class is not as expected and Professor Blink has a cast on her broken leg now meet the new Professor/Dr. Cory McNally, HOT guy from the bar and he is also her dance partner....let the flirting, innuendoes and restraint begin, as you know Student/Teacher dating is not allowed...

RIDING THROUGH by DANI WYATT: Loved loved, loved it. Oh to be young again and able to ride in an Equestrian competition and have a trainer/teacher by the name of Reed Sawyer, hot, good looking, and so hot. This man is a force to be reckoned with when he feels a "lurching, crackling monster" in his chest and notices her.
Constance is seated on Ruby, her chestnut gelding, warming up with a walk through, before her turn in the competition. She saw his eyes on her, she felt thumping in the heart and a jolt that nearly unseated her.
When Constance is to compete, she is mounted and ready but everything goes wrong.....

PERFECT CHEMISTRY by ARIA COLE: Sweet protective and really sexy story. Chemistry teacher meets young student and for the first time captured his attention. Chemistry teacher Mr. Walsh never thought he'd get tired of teaching but he did love the first day of school. Instead, this year it brought him seventeen-year-old Karoline. For the first time in his life, he's obsessed with her.
Karoline prefers to be invisible, but her body bloomed and the smart girl was now visible to all the ridicule, bullying. immature teenage humor and hormonal criticism.
The first time Mr. Walsh touched her arm it felt like his fingerprints were branded into her flesh.

LEARNING HIS LAW by CELIA AARON: I loved this. Penny has a crush on Professor Elliot, her Law Professor. Professor Elliot has developed an attraction to Penny and it isn't going away. He protects her from the bullies and the attraction grows between them. Professor Elliot checks on her every night in the library to make sure she get home without incidence. They agree not to do anything until Penny after graduates, until something happens...


STEALING MISS BROOKS by SLOANE HOWELL: This is probably the most surprising story for me as there is some fantasizing about a teacher and then there is what really is happening in the story.
Ms. Brooks is Jeremiah's English Lit teacher and he sits in class fantasizing about her. Jeremiah also plays for the high school baseball team and eligible for recruitment to the big leagues. He just has to keep his grades up. He's leaving practice and his stepfather is waiting for him. He has a drunken mean streak and does everything to belittle and demean Jeremiah and this time it's witnessed by Ms. Brooks.
Ms. Brooks is six years older and also has feelings for Jeremiah. She doesn't encourage Jeremiah but when she thinks he can't see, he observes her crying after they have an encounter.

Defy by L.J. Shen

5***** Hot &Forbidden stars from me!!!!

Loved the story, for me it was the first time to read a forbidden teacher/student romance when the teacher is a woman and much older from our hero...but boy i liked a lot, the author created a super fun, hot, steamy, enjoyable hot novella.



Both characters were very lovable, i enjoyed reading them from page one 'till the last their attraction could burn the pages and their passion definitely could create some huge fireworks in my kindle...cause believe it has some really sexy, hot scenes that will affect you a lot...





Jaimie even though he is just eighteen he has the dominance for a thirty-year-old man bossing around our sassy heroine Mel and yeah his attitude and generally their dialogues are way to steamy and fun, they will do what they want without giving anyone a single thought about what they're doing, also there some pretty sweet romance in there making the whole situation way too interesting.

An indeed fantastic prequel to the series, i honestly can't wait to read Vicious story from the start when i read about his character besides Jaimie, he too won my heart with mystery, Alpha vibe..so I'm looking forward to the next book and of course i recommend this beauty to anyone!!

Star Pupil by Rochelle Paige

These 2 were adorably sweet. Griffen sees Avery at a movie shoot and knows she is the one right away (adore the insta-love stories). He has to wait for awhile, until she turns eighteen, to make is move but he knows she is his forever.

When she has her birthday, he becomes her on set teacher to help her prep for college. He is so good and patient with her that is just sweet and adorable. I loved how he spent time with her before he really made his intentions known. Her mom was a bit of a "thorn" but he took care of her....which is good because as a mother....she really didn't make the cut.

This is a sweet must read....you will fall in love with these two.

Spring Fling by Elle Christensen

I loved how this one started on Spring Break...naughty fun. Logan saw Abbi and knew he wanted her right away. He gave all of his personal information to her best friend and told her Abbi would be staying with him for the week....so, obviously he was already subconsciously thinking this was a bit more than a "one-night" fling.

They have a great week together and neither want it to end....awe. He is moving to Boston, which just so happens to be where she lives. The story progresses from there....don't want to give away any spoilers, but he basically tells her that come graduation time, that night she would always be in their bed at their home.

These 2 had so much heat between them...loved it.

Perfect Chemistry by Aria Cole

This was a sweet, slow burn. I really liked these 2 sweet virgins and their courting process. They really took their time, got to know each other and just spent time together. Very sweet, sweet couple.

Stealing Miss Brooks by Sloane Howell

This is my first book from this author...so, now I will have to stalk...er follow Sloane Howell. I loved this book and the anticipation with all the sexual tension going on with these two. This was just a really hot story all the way through. I loved the entire book and absolutely adored the ending.

Totally loved the "guy humor" too....guys being guys...loved it. Can't wait to read more from this author....let the stalking....er following begin.

Riding Through by Dani Wyatt

I really liked this story, it was a unique take on the teacher student relationship. Reed was a horse trainer/teacher who helped his students overcome their fears after they have an accident on their horses. He is a really great guy that had a bad acccident himself, which left him using a cane. She is a rich girl who's parents are contolling and degrading. At one point in the story she really ticked me off....but lucky for her I adore Reed....so he makes up for her spoiled childesh personality. When she has an accident on her horse, he is there to literaaly save her life and then basically tells her he is her new trainer. He already knows she is his forever and she feels the same. This was a neat and unique story and I applaud Dani Wyatt for creating it.

I will be honest, some of the stories were hit or miss for me, but there were a few that stood out so much for me that it was an automatic 5 star read. I love taboo romance, especially student teacher romances, and I love that the authors in this anthology shook things up and didn't fall into the usual cliches. There are teachers who submit, students who are less than innocent, virgins, convicts, spoiled students, poor students, college professors, art teachers, substitutes, and even a horse trainer. Some of the stories are cute, while others were steaming hot, but all were incredibly hard to put down and I wished for each to be length standalone novels. Whether you've heard of every author, are a fan of just a few, or you've never read any of them, this is the anthology to pick up to get to see just what incredible writers they are.

Favorites:
Salacious by A.Zavarelli - I am in love with this story, with the characters, with the imagery A. Zavarelli created with her beautiful prose. I even teared up, because my emotions were so invested in Chloe and Mr. Vaughn. I know I shouldn't pick a number one, but I have to, this is it.

Playing with Fire by Mara White - This one surprised me, because it was the one story I least looked forward to and ended up being one I spent the most time with. Some of it was silly, I laughed out loud and the characters and the pace at which things went, but the romance in this one? It's cute, it's different, and it was really easy to picture it playing out thanks to Mara White's descriptive writing.

Defy by L.J. Shen - L.J., doing it again with her bad boy characters and uniquely dark writing, Defy was beyond good. Not only is this one a captivating short, but it introduces us to Vicious and if you're a fan of L.J. Shen then I know you're just as excited as I am for a full length about that bad, bad boy.

Dirty Lessons

This story is part of the Hot For Teachers Anthology and also a bonus story when you buy My Christmas Gift. Just a short but very enjoyable read.

The story is about Jake, 28 and Kaci, 18.

Jake was a marine and now, he's a teacher. Kaci is a new student. And they're neighbors.

He tried to fight his feelings at first but it didn't last long. And the book has an epilogue with marriage and babies. C.M. Steele is one of my favorite authors. I love her alpha males and I love her epilogues more!


SAFETY:
No cheating.
No love triangle.
No OW/OM drama. Just that there's a co-teacher who wants him and still flirts even if he pretended to be gay just to avoid her advances. There's also a few students who want Kaci. One was trying to stake his claim, telling the class she's his girl but she's not interested.
No abuse.
No push and pull. Not really. At first, he tried to fight his attraction but like I said, it didn't last long.
No separation.
She's a virgin. And I assumed he's celibate. Not sure how long. Nothing was mentioned about his past. Only that he hasn't had a girlfriend in years and he never had a woman around and in his house.
No condom used. He wants her pregnant.
Possible pet peeves/triggers: her mother's a whore and using drugs. Spanking with a belt.

Learning His Law
I haven't read anything by Celia Aaron, but man, can she write hot, sexy stuff in a short story. Professor Elliot was hot, sexy, and oh so demanding.
This story makes me want to read more by her.

Defy:
Lesson one: Don't sleep with a student Lesson two: Definitely not the Principals son. Melody Greene gets in F in both lessons. When a hot Alpha male runs the school and can have any girl he wants, but has his eyes set on his teacher instead. He will get what he wants. this was such a hot little read from LJ Shen. It had me wishing it was longer.

School by a Senior:
Oh K. Webster knows her dirty, sexy stuff, but besides that, leave it to her to sneak in there a "Well I didn't see that coming". seriously, how she managed to do that in such a short story is beyond me but she's K. Aut was sexy as hell with a dirty mouth. Again, reading this made me wish it was longer.

This anthology had a few standout stories, like with any anthology – you can’t always love them all. I read this over the last few months between reads and on nights when I didn’t have time to read a full book, but wanted to get a full story – so my memory is blanking on some of the stories, but there were a few that stood out.

I loved K. Webster’s installment, enjoyed Jane Harvey-Berrick and Sloane Howell. I read LJ Shen, and then one-clicked her other titles because she had such witty dialogue.

Although not every single one of the stories was a hit, it was a worth the one-click.

I've received an ARC of Stealing Miss Brooks by Sloane Howell.
As always the stories written bij Sloane are steamy, funny and with a touch of angst. I felt even a little bit sorry for Jeremiah, the student. He has a crush for his teacher but than there is the difference in age and the taboo. But the attraction grows only more till they cannot hold it. It's an short read but really recommended. Can't wait to read the other quickies.

Spring Fling by Elle Christensen

This story is a quick read with lots of steam factor in it.
The story follows eighteen-year-old Abby and twenty-nine-year-old Logan.
When these two meet, the attraction is hot and fierce and what starts out as a Spring Fling, turns out to be so much more. The only problem is that they really shouldn't be together, but they can't fight the pull between them.
Loved this quick, hot read.

The best part is each of the 19 authors gave a little blood, sweat, and tears to provide a short, worthy of raising money for charity. The following are a few samplings. All 19 vignettes are fabulous, I just happeneded to grab a few selects! Updates to come later...

Blessed and privileged reading Q.T. Ruby's vignette “Shut Up and Dance with Me.” Her short sexy tale divulges the tryst between Reggie Proctor, a dedicated college senior, and the very sexy Cory McNally. The two immediately have a chemistry which is Hot, HOt, HOT. In true Q.T. Ruby fashion she mixed hot and steamy with delicious humor and wit. Reggie's sidekick roommate adds another element of fun, "Well, then I expect you will give me daily updates of Dance Floor Whore and the Doctor Man." Melanie only adds to the laughter. Ruby’s integration of inner monologues continues to be another brilliant little addition, which keeps the light-hearted ball rolling, and the steamy build up chugging along the tracks as the story unfolds.

Additionally, Rachel Blaufeld was kind enough to trust me with her ARC for the anthology. WOW, Break Point is another amazing vignette. Juliette and Coach King's steamy little romance heats up quickly as their chemistry is off the charts. Their competitive nature and passionate on and off the court interactions are more than swoon worthy. Blaufeld touches all the right hot spots and leaves you ready for more.

L.J Shen opened my eyes to her creation with Defy. Her dirty little novella with the pretentious taboo of violating the teacher student professional line. Unlike the handsome male teacher and the vulnerable female student, Shen blows the tradition out of the water with the high school bad-boy-athlete and the very sexy hot for teacher female lead. The role reversal and strong attitudes by both lead characters makes this forbidden sin even more attractive. The deep favored stylistic choices in Defy, from the hot self-confident opening, all the way through the epilogue, Shen never deviates from the cockiness and confidence of Melody or Jaime. They are quite feisty, flawed, and fearless. The hot sexiness of their taboo love only brings out the incredible way Shen can turn a news headlining story into a couple the reader fights to defend. Defy is hot, sexy, sinful, and ready for all to dive into its pages!

Celia Aaron never disappoints with her naughty little Learning His Law master piece. Aaron's crafty use of the vernacular attributes skillfully to this delightful little law school tryst. I loved the alpha attitude of Professor Elliot and the OCD behind Penny. Aaron left me wanting to know more about the dark side of Elliot as I found his character quite intriguing.

All in all these 19 fabulous tales are all quite crafty and jam packed with deliciously created taboo no-no's. Some are built around humor others dark secrets but all in all a fun filled read. Everybody better get ready to get their copy promote ProLiteracy!
