Er wordt veel ‘afgespeeld’, kan mij moeilijk inbeelden dat 70% van het Aalsterse politiearchief van 1901 over zedenschennis en aanranding ging. Boontje toch! Dank voor de Kunst.

This is one of the best stories i've ever read; the social history of a small industrial town at the beginning of the 20th century. With a very kinky kind of humour, the author describes the very raw reality of the poor and wretched lives of the common people.
