***You fell in love with them in the Our Worlds Series, now read Dan and Violet's story.***
Loving Violet is the easiest choice Dan’s ever made. Dan Forrester and Violet Jones are the perfect couple. His devotion to the charismatic, beautiful firecracker has been the envy of their friends since high school. Until the day she throws his love in his face and walks away from them. Watching her change into someone she’s not is the most challenging thing he’s ever done.
Loving Dan is impossible until Violet learns who she is. Violet’s concept of true love is shattered when her parents announce their divorce. Doubt taints everything she thought to be true. Fear becomes the reason for every decision she makes. Determined to find out who she really is, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery.
Loving someone often means giving her the time and space she needs. As Dan and Violet smolder in a failed relationship, life takes them in opposite directions. But will love ignite the ashes and bring them back to where they belong?
Lindsey Iler is the author of several new adult romances. No trope is off the table with her, but she especially loves writing bully and sports romance. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has four kids. When she isn't writing and spending time with family, she can usually be found listening to music and true crime podcasts.
Ok ladies, does this have cheating? Supposedly he gets a BJ from the same gal even when in a relationship with the h before each game bc of superstition. I found it under a book inquiry in the cheaters group here on goodreads. It's on KU, so I've downloaded it but I'm iffy on the writing. Anyone read?
I have to say I really enjoyed this author, and this book series. I realize it's a spin-off, but in my mind this is book 4 of the series, mainly because these two characters were very predominant in the first three books. And if you read the previous series and you know that we saw this couple fall apart in the third book, which upset me a little. Granted I knew this book existed so I knew that was where this was headed but I wasn't really sure why. I did enjoy that this couple got a book and that we were able to dig deeper into them, but I didn't really understand why it had to go down the way that it did. It was really entertaining to get to know this couple on a more deeper level, and I liked where this book started off and how it moved out beyond where the previous book was. This book also seem to set up the possibility for additional books, but I don't know if they're coming for sure. Like the other books in the series, this book really threw me for a surprise, the twists and turns were nothing like I anticipated. I like how the entire story came full circle including the secondary characters. These books definitely keep you on your toes, and wondering what could possibly happen next. I really enjoyed this and I hope you will
Violet has been a favorite of mine throughout the series but this one was kind of ehh. I wanted more of her sass. She was so unsure about everything even when she knew Dan was the one. Okay on to the last book!
One of the best things about a book is when you can relate with a character. And I relate with violet so much in this book! I don't have near going on what she has but I definitely have the self doubt and insecurities about myself. To see violet that way breaks my heart and makes me realize much like her that I can fight and win! Anyways on to the story now. I adored Dan and Violet in Graham and Kennedy's story. I was so glad dan and violet got a book! And I was so happy to see their journey! It was a rough one but one worth taking to get to the ending that was possible all along. Lindsey writes such emotional and amazing reads that I feel like I'm in the story with the characters! Dan and Violet have a hard time but they go through it together and with the help of Graham, Kennedy, Amanda, rico, even mark, and Bea. Seeing this amazing group of friends together again warms my heart and makes me excited for more! This story was truly amazing and sits deep in my heart. If violet can beat her doubt and insecurities why the hell cant I?!? That's what I've taken away most from this book! And also that true love never fails, EVER
I have loved every book the author has put out. She never ceases to amaze me with her talents.
In this installment of the Our World's Series Dan and Violet are trying to find their way in life.
Throughout the entire series Kennedy and Graham have been my favorite but not any more. Dan just makes you want a guy like him to walk into your life, and Violet is everything you could ever want in a woman. She's vulnerable but strong, soft yet hard, but all around she is just the perfect woman.
While reading this story I laughed, cried and wanted to choke the characters. There is enough humor to keep you Turing the pages and just enough rip your heart out that you won't ugly cry.
All in all a wonderful read and I would recommend it to anyone.
This book is without a doubt a 5 star book, as well as her other stories with Graham and Kennedy. There are impossible to put down and they pull you in the second you start reading them. It's so easy to emotionally connect to this book and to fall in love with each of the characters. I strongly recommend this book to anyone looking for something with a happy ending but also something that makes you question things!
Once again you knocked it out of the park! I don't even have the words to describe the feelings that have been evoked during this story. I loved every chapter,Paige, and word that was set before my eyes. It is definitely a must read!!!
I love how we got to read about Dan and Violet. I remember writing directly to Lindsey on her Facebook page (which she replied right away) about them and was told it was in the making and I'm so glad I was not disappointed
They have some things to get past, can Dan and Violet work things out of will other things they have planned read them apart? I love Violet and Dan. They are no Graham and Kennedy but their love for each other is real. Such a good book.
I can't go without reading any of her books! I do wish we could have gotten more of Marks story since I did love his character n family in Kennedy n Graham's story. As well as Amanda n Rico's. But Violet's n Dan's was such a good book!!
I fell in love with these characters in the main series and their story didn't disappoint...i have loved every word in this series..i can't wait to see who's story is next
