I've pick up some randomly books and i found this pieces. i know it is already usual quote like i found in internet. However i just love how the beautiful illustration in this books. fresh and colorful! these are my top five favorite quotes from this pieces

1. "Always have a book handy. A Good book is a good friend" (Pages 38)"

2. "Always make time to read a good book. It adds depth to our thinking and feeds our imagination" (pages 27)

3. "Practice simple kindness daily. A simple 'thank you' and a little smile can go a long way" (Pages 75)

4. "Just because other people are prejudiced, narrow-minded and insecure it doesn't mean you have to be like them" (pages 89)

5. "Be kind to animals. You can tell someone's quality from the way they treat animals" (Pages 99)

well this is my first 'pure' english book. ya a good first impression. it contains 148 simple motivational and reminder quotes.

kinda similar with another books like this. but it made up my day>< so 5 is okay.

this book looks fresh and colorful, i love it.....
my fav part is:
"Help other people not so they will pay you back, but so they could help others in turn." (pg 87)

other than that, nothing (so) special. just a reminder for us to make our live feel better and balance

tulisan2 di buku ini berisi tips2 dari mbak Desi yang ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia. dibagi menjadi 3 bab diantaranya tips seputar myself and other, peace within, dan taking care of your body.

isi buku di dalamnya bikin segar mata. dengan tulisan colorful dan ilustrasi berwarna yang lucu-lucu seperti gambar kucing, burung merak juga bunga-bunga khas hutan hujan Indonesia. cantik.

beberapa tips yang ada rata-rata sudah sering kita baca entah itu dari akun twitter semacam lifehack atau artikel-artikel dari web popsugar atau boredpanda. tapi yang membuat buku ini menarik, per-tips disajikan dalam satu halaman. dan karena saya baca versi ebook, jadi bisa di screenshoot untuk dijadikan wallpaper hp dan sebagai reminder juga. mantap.

beberapa tips yang saya simpan dan jadi kesukaan

make sure you get enough sleep. your body needs the time to repair itself and enough rest will save you from unnecessary breakdowns

learn to laugh at yourself more. it lessens the pain when other people laugh at you

jangan hanya memasukkan makanan ke dalam perut, tetapi berikan juga asupan untuk pikiran kita

a good way to put your life in order is to start organizing your photo albums. it will help you track your evolution and keep things in perspective

selalu sediakan waktu untuk membaca buku yang bermutu karena dapat memperkaya pemikiran dan daya khayal kita

I love the book's illustration. Fresh and colorful!

Buku ini terdiri dari tiga bab besar yang setiap babnya berisi tips-tips berkaitan dengan tema babnya (aku ga hitung sih apakah benar 148 tips hehe)

Tiga bab tersebut:
- Taking Care of Your Body
- My Self and Others
- Peace Within

Baca buku ini bikin ingat buku Haemin Sunim yang ‘The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down' karena dari segi formatnya mirip. Diawali dengan narasi singkat sebelum masuk ke tips-tipsnya.

To be honest, aku lebih suka sama narasi awal dari buku ini daripada tips-tips yang diberikan. Penulis menjelaskan dengan baik di narasi tersebut, terutama bab pertama.

Sedangkan untuk tips yang disampaikan penulis, hanya
sebagian yang cukup menarik untuk aku pribadi. Sisanya ada yang aku sulit untuk memahami
maksud dan konteksnya, ada juga yang memang tidak
sesuai dengan prinsip yang aku pegang.

Buku ini dalam bahasa inggris, tapi untuk tipsnya
diberikan juga dalam bahasa indonesia. Di setiap halaman diberi illustrasi bunga yang sangat cantik! 💐💐

Buku ini menurutku lebih ditujukan untuk perempuan, atau siapapun penggemar ilustrasi floral warna-warni dan kumpulan quotes. Aku sih suka ya, ada beberapa yang aku capture dan aku edit buat jd wallpaper biar jd reminder. Ringan dan memanjakan visual.
