With her powers growing erratically Kiera struggles to learn her craft, her time to prepare running out fast. Will she be strong enough to face her enemy? Will her heart stay strong?
Angela L. Clay was born in the city of Durban, South Africa, 1978. In 1984 she immigrated to Australia with her family, growing up in the Far North Queensland city of Cairns. And there she has stayed, now married with two crazy children.
From a young age Angela has imagined worlds of adventure and fantasy, playing them out in her mind over and over again. She is greatly excited to now have put pen to paper and created her debut novel Kyndryd, the first in her Kyndryd series.
Angela's passions are watching anime, reading a large variety of genres, including Paranormal, YA, Fantasy, Manga, Thriller and yes the occasional Romance Adult novel.
But her favourite down time is when she has a pencil in her hand sketching her favourite anime characters, sometimes even her own novel's characters.
Because it was over two years since I read the first book of the series, I was worried it would take me a while to jump back into the world of Kyndryd. It didn't. Phadesh wastes no time in jumping straight into the action and within the first couple of chapters I was fully emerged in the world once again. In book two we learn more about Keira's family history and her connection to the beautiful Malakai. The descriptions of the dragon were vivid and beautiful and magical. Unlike in Kyndryd, this book spends the majority of the story in the magical world where Keira faces her enemy . Once again the descriptions of the world are what impressed me most. Looking forward to book three.
