4 stars for the story
This book was so hot! And Greg’s narration amplified it even more, the man has a sexy, soothing voice.
In this book 3 we get to experience the growth in Thorne and Riley/Dash’s relationship, What started out as Rent-boy/Client relationship grew into something beautiful.
This was much better than book 2, at least there was no unnecessary misunderstanding. At the end of book 2 Thorne proposed to Riley with Spiderman ring and he said yes. This book focused on the wedding plans and the wedding. Both parts were enjoyable to read, we get to see Thorne’s insecurity about their age gap, and I was glad for this it was a bit realistic, good thing is that they don’t dwell on it.
The passion , chemistry and love between these two men was amazing and Greg brought that to life. I enjoyed the wedding part even more, it was a simple one and at central park, who wouldn’t want that….
He took Riley’s hand. “Riley, I doubted that you would want me, or that you’d ever agree to put up with me on a daily basis.” This elicited giggles from their friends. “But somehow you did, and the longer I’ve been with you, the more I’ve learned how fortunate I am to have you. You challenge me. You make me change my ways. You make me a better man. You’ve helped me see the world in a different way, and I am thankful for that every day. I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Thorne, you have shown me what it’s like to have someone love me unconditionally, to have someone care for me and want to give all they can to make me happy. You’ve supported me and believed in me. You pushed me to follow my dreams. No one could ask for a better partner than you. I…”
Riley’s hands were shaking. There were more words on the paper, but tears were running down his face. He folded the paper and shoved it back in his pocket. “I love you, and there is nowhere else I’d rather be.”
The sex! The Sex! Damn! This author can write some hot scenes. These two go at it like bunnies. This book has so many sex scenes and I loved them all. Their first time bare backing… Oh! Lordty!
“Oh. My. God.” It was even better than he thought it would be, and the look in Thorne’s eyes… Too much. He sank in all the way in one stroke. He couldn’t hold back. The heat, the tightness. Fucking amazing.
“Don’t stop. Just take me. Do whatever you want; this is so…”
“Intense?” Riley asked.
Thorne nodded.
Riley slid out and back in. “Oh, Jesus. I’m not going to last long.”

Perfect Alignment is Book Three of the Thorne and Dash series and features the same MC as books one and two, Thornton Shipwell and Riley Dashwood. These books must be read in order as one picks up where the previous left off and each story plot builds on the previous.
In this installment of the Thorne & Dash series author Silvia Violet has shown us an important aspect of happily-ever after. It takes work and you can't forget to romance your significant other, even if you are busy, even if life gets in the way, and especially when you love someone with all your heart. Never forget the romance. However, remember how you express it will be unique for each couple - but, always romance your partner. I think that is something we all can use a reminder on ... as it is so easy to get stuck in habits of not spending time together or just taking time for yourselves to just be in love.
So, this story is much to do about wedding planning, miscommunications, not romancing your partner when life gets busy, and then learning to pick up the pieces and fix what's broken when it all blows to hell. When we left book two in this series..Thorne proposed to Riley. Riley accepted. As usual after the proposal, the wedding planning begins or the couple runs off to elope. Well, it seems Thorne forgot this stage and totally checks out on the planning stage even though he assures Riley he can have the huge wedding that he has always wanted. Thorne takes the -- "just do what you want Riley, I will love whatever you choose, here is an endless supply of money, have at it - I will see you at the alter" -- needless to say, Riley feels neglected, unloved, and even considers calling it all off. Riley has to decide if he wants his ultimate fantasy or does he just want to have a perfect reality with Thorne and be happy.
“Fantasy is good,”— Thorne’s words vibrated against Riley’s lips—“ but reality is better, at least when I’m with you.”
Then, as if planning a Christmas wedding on his own isn't enough -- Riley is also in the middle of renovations and planning the opening of his bakery with his business partner, Susan.
If that isn't enough to make you stressed out on behalf of Riley then I don't know what is..all of these outside stressors are enough to almost bring this amazing couple to an end. One thing is for sure, if they are going to make it to their happily-ever after they have to start communicating, respecting, and romancing each other again - put what is important first.
I don't want to tell you exactly what happens in this book. There is going to be times where your seriously going to want to hit Thorne over the head and other times where his sweetness will make you melt. These two have not forgotten how to turn up the heat and are still as combustible together in the bedroom as that first night!
“ Keep your hands where they are. I’m controlling this. The only thing you need to do is feel and feel and feel and feel until you can’t stand it and you come so hard you see stars.”

okay, I defy any fan of this series not to get choked up when they get to Central Park...
If you want a beautifully written, completely romantic, hot as hell love story then this is your series. It is absolutely perfect, only improved by Greg Boudreaux's spectacular narration. One of the all time best!

The dynamic between Dash and Thorne remains sizzling, but they are under a lot of stress due to the wedding and the bakery. I really hated how they were treating each other, but eventually they work it out (by talking imagine that) and the wedding is delightful.
I'm looking forward to reading what has been going on between Marc and Darius.

I have to say I have really enjoyed this series and I think this one is my favourite of the lot....Thorne and Riley are just as hot as ever but with wedding plans and a new bakery going on tension is running high...there's misunderstandings and high tension throughout but amongst that is some seriously hot scenes.......I wanted to throttle Thorne a few times but there is one part where I could have quite happily killed him for what he put Riley through...but that ending...Their time in New York was just amazing...Beautifully done and so damn romantic......I really want to read more from these two and I also want to read more about Darius and Marc...they are two seriously hot guys.....x

Even though Thorne, of ‘Perfect Alignment' by Silvia Violet, has already proposed on the spur of the moment, he promises Riley to do it formally, and does so over a romantic candlelight dinner. Riley tells his best friend, Mark, first, but when they tell the rest of the family, the event takes on a life of its own, as these things often do.
Riley is planning a big event, but Thorne would have been satisfied to quietly elope. Instead of speaking up, Thorne defers to Riley's choices because he wants to make him happy, but he soon begins to resent Riley for his desire to have a big wedding. Thorne tries his best to seem interested in the myriad of choices to be made for the celebration, i.e., centerpieces, table cloth color, flowers, menu of the reception, etc. It's not that he doesn't care it's just not his thing to worry about such details and doesn't want them to begin with. He knows Riley isn't happy with his lack of interest but Thorne simply can't handle the stress at work plus the literal chaos at home that the wedding planning is causing with color samples, flower books, etc. Thorne doesn't want it and can't get away from it either. Misunderstandings between them abound. Consequently, he avoids it as much as possible.
With Riley on his own to make plans, he enlists his best friend, Mark, to help with all the details which he gladly does but Thorne's lack of interest results in Riley having to make the choices guessing what Thorne might want, causes resentment on his side as well for having to do everything alone. Riley is trying to plan a wedding while meeting the demands of his new bakery business and it is much more stress than anyone can stand. Riley leans on Mark for the support he's not getting from Thorne, but even Mark sees that Riley is cracking around the seams and suggests that he down-scale the ceremony, simplify it to a manageable level. With both of them running around in such a frenzied manner, the distance between them multiplies. Things come to a head when Thorne comes home early and misunderstands something he sees which threatens to end their relationship. Now, they aren't just out of alignment, they are completely off the track and it's going to take a lot to get them back where they should be.
Communication and trust are two of the most important things for any couple. Thorne may have changed a lot, but he's still too stubborn and short-tempered. Riley, who is usually the reasonable, if not completely down-to-earth one who balances them, is too distracted and doesn't stop to think about what Thorne may want. Normally Riley would have seen the “train wreck” coming, but, in this case, he is too preoccupied. Thorne and Riley have a loving relationship that still needs a lot of work, but, come to think of it, doesn't everyone? This series started on a high for me; I really enjoyed the first book. The second annoyed me, but I still looked forward to reading this, thinking that the angsty part of the series was over and that I’d be reading an enjoyable wedding book.
Well I was wrong.
This book was worse than the second for me.
We had more of ‘not talking things through, so let’s just have sex because that’s what we do best.’
You’d think they would have learned after all they went through in the second book!
Smh.
I haven’t been this frustrated reading a book in a long time, and if I’d have known it was going to be more of the same, then I probably would’ve skipped it. I honesty thought it was going to be an enjoyable wedding book, and whilst the last quarter was probably that, the rest was just full of inner thoughts and monologues without actually talking things through, then one of them would be pissed, hurt or upset.
There’s only so much I can take!!! At one point I actually wondered if they should even be getting married.
So whilst the first book was great, unfortunately for me the series went downhill after that. I was glad to see Thorne and Dash get their HEA though.
Christ, after all the miscommunication and avoidable drama, they deserved it.

Don't know why it took me so long to read this series. Needless to say I am glad I finally got to it. I am going to lump all three into this review because I have the same complaint - poor editing. It takes away from the overall enjoyment and if mistakes and spelling errors become too much then reading becomes a frustration.
Thorne and Dash are good together but their relationship moves too quickly in my opinion.

Eccoci giunti al capitolo finale della storia di Thorne e Riley/Dash. Se credete che tutto fili liscio tra dolcezza e campane a festa state per leggere il libro sbagliato. In “Allineamento perfetto” l’autrice Silvia Violet ci racconta con fluidità, e un erotismo sempre ben caratterizzato e spiccato, l’amore passionale che contraddistingue i suoi due protagonisti. Anche in questo terzo volume il gap generazionale e il divario economico creano delle tensioni che vanno ad accumularsi alle insicurezze e alle ansie. Le tensioni lavorative che stanno entrambi vivendo esasperano le paure e le incertezze che si trasformano in ombre minacciose, voci sussurranti gelosia e frustrazione. La decisione di sposarsi, la diversità di vedute sulla cerimonia, gli impegni sempre più pressanti e fuori controllo li trasportano su una china in cui la mancanza di comunicazione e la paura di deludere il partner getta le basi per l’inevitabile disastro che spezzerà ogni speranza.
Tra fraintendimenti e omissioni il desiderio di donare al proprio partner tutto ciò che desidera di più al mondo gli farà perdere la visione di ciò che è veramente importante in una relazione di coppia, la comunicazione e l’onestà. Thorne e Riley si ritroveranno così sempre più ai ferri corti fino a giungere all’inevitabile rottura. Sapranno risolvere i loro problemi? Sapranno essere onesti con loro stessi e con il proprio partner?
Silvia Violet ci racconta un amore dolcissimo in cui la sensualità e l’erotismo sono componenti molto importanti all’interno della narrazione. Scene che staccano e smorzano ogni melensa carineria con scene hot ricche di emotività e pratiche al limite del BDSM. Ci racconta un connubio emozionale che riesce a mantenere viva e partecipe la nostra attenzione regalandoci, così, una storia fluida e scorrevole. In questo terzo volume un’altra coppia regalerà attimi di struggente commozione e di divertito imbarazzo, spero vivamente che Silvia Violet ci racconti anche la vicenda di Marcus e Darius. Una storia dalle premesse fortemente coinvolgenti.

This was the perfect end to this series!! There were plenty of mistakes and misunderstandings, lots of hot smexing, and plenty of awwwwwwww romance. I loved the evolution of Thorne and Riley's relationship. I was completely satisfied at the end of the book, which is the hallmark of a great finale.

Perfect Alignment is the third book in the Thorne and Dash series. I found it super enjoyable as I’ve read the series, but I do think it can be enjoyed on its own, as well.
Thorne and Riley met nearly a year ago when Riley showed up to Thorne’s penthouse as his new replacement escort, “Dash.” Over time spent together, they built a real and loving relationship that includes pretty much a whole lotta sexytimes, too. They are a healthy couple, with a bit of an age gap—Thorne’s near forty and Riley’s in his early twenties. It’s been a sore subject for a bit, because Thorne fears Riley will change his mind about settling down with an older man. Still, Thorne proposed and Riley accepted at the end of the last book.
These guys are really best at connecting physically, and when the time for intimacy is chipped away by schedules and travel, well, it’s a situation ripe for relationship troubles. I liked how Thorne and Riley lean on their friends, who aren’t afraid to be painfully and brutally honest. The side characters really feel and act like full characters, which is nice. Through it all, Thorne and Riley know they really do love each other, so their separation—when it comes—is thankfully brief. I had a great time watching the love and frustration and confusion and hurt pour off the page, perhaps because I’ve planned weddings and I know how crazy that whole experience makes people.

Wow. Nothing is ever easy with these two! When last we saw Thorne and Riley, they were happily engaged. After a tumultuous relationship we followed through two books, they were finally together and secure. As you remember, Riley (AKA Dash) was originally hired as Thorne’s rent boy for an evening, but it turned in to so much more. Dating, love, a relationship, and a marriage proposal. We saw them through arguments, misunderstandings, a breakup, the stress of moving in together, and Riley attempting to start a business and go to school. Thorne is rich and spoiled, and wants everything to go his way. Riley is fiercely independent, and resists everything Thorne tries to do. The two suck at communication, and constantly get in to misunderstandings. But they have the hottest sex! Lots of hot sex… hot kinky sex. Riley turns on his Dash persona frequently and puts Thorne in his place!
Now we come to this new book, Perfect Alignment. Riley is well on his way to making his dream come true, he and Susan are in the midst of setting up the space for their new bakery. This causes some stress, as starting any new business would. But adding to that, is the wedding planning. Thorne and Riley have a big difference of opinion on their wedding. Thorne wants to go away for a simple wedding between the two of them, Riley wants a big wedding with all of the trimmings, and their family and friends. They argue about it, and Thorne agrees to the big wedding he doesn’t want. Then they bicker and snit about it for the next half of the book. Then have a huge misunderstanding that is only solved by outside influence. Then we get the ending I was waiting for!
So I loved the first two books in this series, but the charm wore off a bit with this one. I still love Thorne and Riley, but I got tired of the bickering and fighting. And the big misunderstanding felt very fake to me, and seemed like nothing more than a reason for them to get pissed off at each other. They spent more of this book arguing or mad at each other than happy. But when they are together, the sex was as fantastic as expected! That part I liked. And I truly loved the whole ending! So I loved parts of this book, and didn’t love parts of it. Overall I liked it though, anything with Thorne and Riley makes me happy. I just wish we’d seen a little less bickering and more of the happy….
Silvia Violet writes some kinky books, and this series is especially so. Thorne and Dash are very hot together and this is a good way to see some BDSM in the bedroom, but not as a lifestyle. Sometimes I like to read dark kinky books, then sometimes I like lighter ones like these. These guys just like to have some hot sex, with some bondage, toys, and a little pain.
If you haven’t read the other two books in this series you need to do that before you read this one. They are really good, and will set you right up for this book. If you have read the others, you HAVE to read this one, partly for the ending, but also we see a fair amount of Darius and Marc, and I see they are getting a book of their own. Yeah!
I liked this one, lots of kinky sex, other side characters getting lots of page time, more of Thorne and Riley whom I love, and the big payoff at the end!

Intense, Loving, Perfect!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I just adore Riley, he's so strong and doesn't even realize it. He also doesn't use the power he holds over Thorne to his advantage.
Have you listened to any of Greg Boudreaux’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have and it's just as good as any other story he's ever told.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I think the issue that arose and separated these two men briefly. The way it played out and the way it was handled by both sides was infuriating, but so believable. This spoke to the Author's writing talent and stood out for me, in a good way.
Any additional comments?
Thorne proposed to Riley. Riley accepted. Happy Ever After, right? Not so fast.
Thorne just wants to go down to city hall and say 'I do' but Riley, well he wants the big, perfect wedding. The two try to meet in the middle, but it's difficult and puts strain on their already frayed nerves. Riley still has trouble accepting any type of financial assistance from his fiance. The strain continues to pile up while they keep their true feelings bottled up for fear of upsetting each other. So, of course, there comes a breaking point. Riley will have to learn to accept the help of the man he's going to marry just as Thorne will have to learn to accept he can't just write a check for everything.
The passion and intensity with which these two men love each other is clearly conveyed by both the Author and then brought to life by the narrator, something anyone else that has listened to Thorne and Dash's books has come to expect. Loved the push and pull between the characters and how everything played out, even if there were a couple of times I wanted to smack Thorne upside the head and tell him to pull it out of his ass.
Boudreaux really immerses himself into each and every character in the story. You can almost feel their happiness, joy and pain with the way he uses every tone, inflection and nuance necessary to bring the story to life in your mind while you're listening. Definitely a must listen series. This isn't a stand alone story though. If you haven't listened to the previous books, you really must start at the beginning.

This is the third book with Thorne and Riley (or sometimes still Dash when they engage in sexy times together).
Lots of emotion in this one! Riley is busy opening his new bakery and now making plans for his wedding this Thorne. Thorne, on the other hand, could really care less about the flowers, napkins, whatever, for the wedding - he just wants to be married to Riley. With everything building up, Thorne does make the mistake of jumping to conclusions, which leads to some angst between everyone.
Luckily, between Riley's friend Marc, and Thorne's sister, Kathryn, things are mended and they talk things out to come to a compromise for a wedding that they both want.
This is a true HEA for Throne and Dash, and I loved reading about their journey together. This trilogy is definitely one of my favorite things I have ever read from this author, and I've pretty much loved everything from her. HIGHLY recommended, start with book 1 and enjoy!

If you were already a fan of this series then this book is the perfect dollop of whipped cream on top of the rich dessert that was books 1 & 2.
This book is an indulgence that wraps the relationship up in a bow and leaves you feeling satisfied. It's not all fluff because there are a few serious issues that come up between the MC's, and in my opinion Riley forgave Thorne entirely too easily.
Thankfully we had Marc and Kathryn to butt in and smack some heads together or this relationship would have gone completely off the rails. Between the miscommunication and not talking to each other honestly it was almost the perfect mess.
This book is the ideal start to our Hunky Days celebration with the off the charts scenes between Thorne and Riley that will heat up any cold night. This was a nice ending to a sexy, fun series!

I’m a fan of Silvia Violet and Greg B/T, I’ve really enjoyed the other books in this series. She’s a great writer and Greg is a fantastic narrator. However, I just wasn’t moved much by this story.
Since our guys were pretty solid at the end of the last book, I was wondering where we’d go with this story. Well…. They get married. First they plan it. They fight a bit. They make up – A LOT – then they get married. That’s pretty much it.
I think - if you’re a huge fan of these guys and you just love seeing more of them – this is the story for you. If you’re looking for a bit more story momentum, you might be disappointed.
There was at least one issue that, had it been capitalized upon, could have helped; Thorne’s family situation held some definite potential, but sadly didn’t occupy much page time.

I personaggi secondari arricchiranno la storia, e accresceranno la curiosità in noi lettori di saperne molto di più.

Perfect Alignment
Or should I dare to say, Perfect Everything…. Thorne and Riley/Dash are just sooo hot, hot, hot between the sheets but in all other aspects too. I read Professional Distance, followed by Personal Entanglement first without leaving a review as I was too impatient to get started on the next book! These guys push each other to be the best they can be in all endeavours. Thorne already being at the top of his chosen field but will hold nothing back to give Riley the tools to be the absolute best in his career as well. The other characters also had heartfelt roles to play too. I’m looking forward to following Marc and Darius next…. Stay tuned 🥰📚❤️

Can I have more than five stars? his was by far the best book in the series. Seeing Thorne and Dash relationship finally come to a close is bittersweet but in a good way. This series was like being there with them from the day they met all the way to the present. We watched them through ups and downs and each man dealing with issues to overcome. I laughed, I sighed, my mouth dropped open, I fanned my self many times and cried a few as well.

A Fairytale ending for the Thorne & Riley/Dash saga. This was a sweet, romantic, very sexy story with general relationship angst. My observations: the last name of Dashwood is very distracting; I always equate that name with Jane Austen. Also, this a very money-centric tale. Is this a story about money can buy love or having money causes unnecessary drama!?

Audiobook ~ 4.5*
I’d already read Well-Tailored so knew the main drama and events that would unfold for Thorne and Dash in this story. Being told from a different point of view and in more detail gave it an entirely different and more intense perspective. And who can resist more of Thorne and Dash together?
The main drama of this story revolves around their wedding preparations. The guys are busy at work and end up all stressed out. Being so tense about the wedding, they behave rather irrationally and have a major falling out over a certain issue. (No spoilers, but this didn’t quite work for me considering how these guys knew each other so well!) Of course, there are plenty of sizzling hot bedroom scenes, including the one where they make-up. The wedding works out just lovely in the end. Perfect for this perfectly matched pair. Overall a superb series with some very enjoyable writing.
Greg Boudreaux’s narration is spot on as always. I especially love the character distinction he makes between Thorne and Dash’s voices, the smoking hot intimate scenes, and his overall storytelling technique. Great job!

Pretty typical wedding episode kind of book. The drama felt like it was pretty much the same as always and so it was a bit annoying, but at least most things get resolved quickly.
There's some sappy cuteness and some more kinkiness, though I felt the first part of the series was really the hottest and the kinkiness and hotness decreased a bit as the series goes on.
