Love Beyond Words was breathtakingly beautiful and had me devouring the pages. It was positively romantic, sweet and sexy but heartbreaking in parts. This story is about injustice, second chances, and destiny that intervened.
"I’ve been lonely, I’ve been broken, I’ve been locked in the dark, but her smile lights my way."
As part of a rehabilitation program, Leah is a 15-year-old student when she becomes a pen pal to a young man serving a lengthy sentence for manslaughter. As begins an extraordinary journey of friendship between an unlikely pair, that will span years over the innocence of letters.
Never revealing their true identity’s and using aliases (Twig and Con), they will express their inner most thoughts, hopes, dreams and despair through their anonymity. As the years tick by, Twig becomes a woman dealing with life, loneliness and relationships, while Con dreams of freedom and new beginnings. They have become a pillar of support and strength to each other. It isn’t surprising that feelings develop even if they’ve never met.
"I want you, no, I need you to know, Twig, if I ever get a chance to meet you, I will pull you into my arms and hold you, keep you warm in the cold, safe where there is danger, and make you smile when you want to cry."
But as Heath’s release draws near, decisions need to be made. Emotions need to be put aside and putting Leah’s future before his is paramount, even if it means going it alone.
Leah has lived a life of luxury but has been lonely. Using Heath’s letters as strength, she makes a choice to find her path by starting fresh and ending an abusive relationship. Her timing is perfect as fate has plans for them both.
With destiny righting past wrongs, a couple of guardian angels, Maggie & Boone giving them a guiding hand, they find their way to each other. And finally, a well deserved ending for Twig & Con full of love and happiness after all the twists and turns ❤️
"I saw a girl, with sunshine in her hair and light in her eyes. I saw her heart and her soul. And in them I found my way. I found a path that I never thought I’d be able to walk. I found salvation in your words, healing in your advice."
Recomendo demais!!! ❤❤❤
Love Beyond Words is by author Dane Rene Published: February 14, 2017 Read: March 1, 2017 My Rating: 5 Cover: 5 Kindle Edition: 153 pages Standalone POV: Told in first-person dual perspectives Genres: Romance, Adult, Romantic Suspense, Erotic
Love Beyond Words was such a beautiful novel. What a way to start off my March reading! This was my first novel by this author and I am looking forward to reading more of her novels.
What an emotional roller coaster I was on! Truth here is this story has more sadness then happiness. But that was okay because when the happiness came, it made up for the sad moments. Heath and Leah each deserved to have a happily ever after. They needed each other for that. There were times when I had my doubts how their story would end. So many ups and downs.
Heath and Leah started out as pen pals. Leah was only 15; Heath 24. They wrote to each other without revealing real names or photos. This went on for 15 years. When they finally met....that moment....oh wow! It was perfect. That moment just solidified they were meant for each other.
Twists and turns? Definitely! Along with the ups and downs were gut-wrenching moments and fear. There was also devastation when the most shattering secrets were revealed. Heath and Leah's love was solid and they were able to overcome everything thrown at them.
"I love you with my eyes closed, I love you beyond every word or letter I ever wrote. I love you because you’re my Sunshine, and I can’t live through another cloudy day."
I can't say enough how much I loved this book! Though I can tell you the ending was perfect. I loved how everything turned out for each character.
"I want to be your light in the dark. Your northern star when you’re lost. Give you comfort when you’re down. Be your warmth when you’re cold. Dry your tears when you cry. And when you feel as if life is too much to handle, I want to be the one holding you up. Because that’s where you belong.
Gaahhhhh........Heath is perfect!
Heath and Leah had scorching chemistry; but before physical attraction, they fell in love through words. but now they are loving each other beyond words.....
Let me start by saying, I've been a fan of Dani's work for a while now, and with any of her books, I always know I'm in for an awesome read. This book however, is just... something else entirely.
Every so often you'll read a book that not just stays with you, it becomes a part of you - and this is absolutely, unequivocally one of those books.
It's so beautifully written, with a poetry of emotion behind each & every word, that you can't help but feel them in your soul.
It's raw, it's honest and it's real. Each of our leads are just so human - flawed, slightly broken, and somewhat lost - that they will have you captivated as their story unfolds.
As the reader, you get to be a part of some of the reveals within their story before they do & it's an incredibly heady feeling. The anticipation builds incrementally, coursing through your veins as your pulse increases while you inhale the story from the pages.
Then there are the reveals & twists that you absolutely don't see coming, that you're completely blindsided by - and they will take your breath away.
I found myself at times struggling to see the words I was reading, through the tears I couldn't seem to stop, but I refused to put it down... I was transfixed.
As avid readers & book lovers, we know exactly how powerful words are, and in this contemporary love story... They. Are. Everything.
From the start I was gasping and then was swooning and then yeah I was tearing. So many emotions reading Heath & Leah's story from beginning to the very end, Boone & Mag's, gah what beautiful souls those two are without a doubt. I was reading this story with tears in my eyes for more then not. This story was more deep with the realistic situations and of course we were given the hot and sexy but more of the heartfelt story behind two people that share a connection and yes I'm going to say it.. Love Beyond Words. The twists and turns has me stopping myself and saying wait, what? No way! Absolutely an incredible read. This is my voluntary and unbiased review.
Tragedy, unexpected and so intense. I love every page of this book, at first I thought it was so innocence, sweet and all romantic, but nooooo after I know the truth, it was so unbelieveable and it happened! I love the story, characteres and the place! fall in love in the stable with horse is so country, Dani make sure to build a strong personality for each person in this book and it's totally perfect! Heath with the protector personal, Leah with sweet and innocent young girl, and Ronan, her dad and others, I love it!
Wow. There is very little I could say in a review that will do this book justice. Dani Rene' blows me away with every word she pens and this story is no different. It's beautiful, lyrically stunning, and heartfelt. Leah and Heath's story is intertwined with twists and turns, hardship and strife, but at the basis of all they went through, their love never falters. It's a story that wrapped itself around my heart and will stay there.
Heath and Leah story is honestly quote beautiful. Heath has two sides to him he's dominant but he's also a romantic which makes him even sexyier you won't be able to get enough of this man. There story brought all the emotions out of me and you will see why once you read. @DANIRENEAUTHOR DID NOT DISSAPOINT WITH THIS BEAUTY CONGRATS DOLL!
Love Beyond Words is an emotional read, It definitely gives you all the feels! I loved Heath and Leah. I loved the way they first "met" and the friendship turned love! Heath is kinda swoony and so hot! I loved this book!!
Being a fan of Dani's work, I knew to expect another great read from her but Love Beyond Words blew me away. The emotion that seeped through the pages with every word that was written was beyond what I have experienced from her work before. The love and the intrigue and the story line were just phenomenal and I could not put this book down. Saying that, did have to take a break to get my tissues and ice cream as I was so overwhelmed with emotion. This was an absolutely amazing story and once again different from what Dani usually pursues. You will not be disappointed in anyway as there are still some very sexy scenes!! 5 well deserved stars!!
I loved everything about this book. A beautiful love story. Following the heart and loving deeply. Even during the hardest of times not losing yourself.

Love Beyond Words is my first book by Dani René, and I was captivated by the story-line, the characters, and the idea of holding on tightly when you find the one.
The story follows Twig and Con (nicknames) as they try not only to find each other but find their place in the world after some life-altering events. Leah, or Twig, as Con calls her, has finally escaped an inhospitable home life. With the support of Con, she is able to dig up the courage to finally break away and start anew. Leah has an incredible strength, even when she seems weak. She is willing to make herself vulnerable to him, but also isn't afraid to show her emotions. She also never lets him off the hook. Like Leah, Heath, or Con, as Leah calls him is also running from his old life and looking to start anew. The one aspect of Heath's character that I enjoy is that he doesn't hold back anything. Because of his experiences, he sees life as too valuable to waste, and so he pursues what and who he wants with pure passion and dedication. Heath is a complete open book, and that is refreshing in a hero. These two are so incredibly well suited for each other, and their journey is enjoyable to watch.
The plot line of Love Beyond Words is one that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. There were so many plot twists and revelations, some that readers will see coming and some that will blindside them. Either way, the intricacies of the plot, the way she laces all the stories of the characters together, is intriguing and engages readers. I do wish ultimately that there would have been more. I feel like readers got to see just the surface of the conflict and all the players involved. If there would have been some more plot development and detail, this would have been a 5 CROWN read for me.
Dani René has created a beautiful story about living life and grabbing hold of the things and people that matter. The characters are lovable, the story enthralling, and I enjoyed being immersed in this world. --------------- ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

The story was good while they were still writing to each other, after they met it went down hill quickly. How they met was way too coincidental even for a fictional read. I got bored and skipped to the end to read the epilogues. I didn't think that I missed much.
OMG - Have you ever read a book that you felt like it was just a part of your soul? This Book touched me in so many ways, I am just not sure where or how to begin to review it without spoiling it for anyone yet at the same time letting people know how truly wonderful this book is and how beautifully it is written. Ms. Rene`, my hat’s off to you with this one.
The story starts with us meeting a 15 year old girl (Leah) that I can best describe as lonely and misunderstood by everyone around her. Leah loves to write and becomes a "pen pal" to an inmate that she knows only as 0423. He’s an older man, considering her age at the time, and he is in prison for 15 years for murder (which he swears he didn’t do). Leah and 0423 (Heath) become each other’s lifeline in ways you just can’t imagine. Heath helps her make her way from a lonely teen to an strong woman and through things you’ll just need to read to imagine; while Leah helps Heath endure his time and renew his will to live life and not just seek revenge. Leah and Heath become closer than a lot of couples yet the two have never met. They definitely have a Love Beyond just their Words yet their lives are far from storybook. This is a heartfelt must read that will have you crying, smiling, laughing and imaging a life just as wild and romantic as Heath and Leah’s. If I could rate this one 10 stars I would do so. Hands down one magnificent story.
Love Beyond Words by Dani René is Stunningly Beautiful this has been one of my favourite reads from her!!!
I adored each page, each written word. Their story of friendship then love is unexpected, tragic and beautiful. I had so many emotions reading this book my heart swooned then ached for Heath and Leah with the hand they had been dealt and the life they were trying so hard salvage. When they come together with all the twist, turns and surprises you'll feel yourself fighting with them, for them.
Dani always has a way of pulling me into her stories with believable characters and the letters throughout this book did just that!! And what can i say about Mags and Boone, two secondary characters, who showed Heath and Leah what love and support really is I loved them.
If you are looking for a great love story for Valentine's day, this is it. Dani Rene's Love Beyond Words is amazingly beautiful. Two strangers brought together by letters find themselves on two seemingly different paths, but life has other plans. This book left my heart on my sleeves. It was so beautiful that I can't even describe it. The things that life threw at the characters sucked but what made it special was how it brought them together. Ladies (and gents), if you just want to read something light and beautiful and sigh worthy, one-click. enjoy and happy Valentine's day!
I won a copy of this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review...This is a wonderful bittersweet love story coupled with an unsolved mystery which has tragic repercussions both in the past and present .. Leah comes from a privileged background but her life is unhappy and she finds friendship and solace in the written communications, she starts as a teenager, with Heath an unknown stranger,..the story follows the lives of both Leah and Heath, told through their letters to each other until fate steps in......coincidence plays a big role in the plot line which could stretch credulity except that the threads of the story are so intricately woven that a reliance on fate seems perfectly in order...
I really loved Leah and Heath.... their character development throughout the book was completely believable; Leah's growth is the most discernible from teenage angst to adulthood and Heath remains a steadfast anchor when the rest of her world becomes increasingly imperfect. I fell in love with Mags and Boone, two subsidiary characters, who provide the unwavering love and support needed to help free two lost people from their demons.
The story is written in dual point of view which provides an insight into the present day mindset of the two main characters but ultimately it is the letters that pull this story together.... letters from the past provide a constant backdrop to the present day events; it didn't take me many pages to become completely committed to Leah and Heath's story...and when the final pages are turned the letters continue to play their part...
Words, such small simple things to use and yet sometimes the hardest to express. Words can make life easier and also harder. One word can fill your life with happiness and also break your heart. Simple words can mean more than complex words and yet silence can be louder than shouting. Getting the words right either for good or for bad can be extremely difficult though when it means the most the right words will always flow.
The truest words of love, friendship, heartbreak and longing are exceptionally written in Love Beyond Words. Dani Rene wrote the most beautiful story about two people, separated by distance, status and circumstance. Though with the help of their words Heath and Leah can find their way through the darkest time.
A true romance that will give you all the feels, all of the warm fuzzies we all love to get. Love Beyond Words is just a beautifully written story about fate and a love that was destined to be. -Mackenzie
From the description we are intrigued. Strangers, twists, and a heart stoping discovery? Color me intrigued. This is my first book by this author but the way she wrote that description..... it has me curious about this story and has me looking into her other stories.
Leah is a shy heroine but at the same time she is so strong and devoted to the things she wants in life that she finally takes the leaps to make her own life.
Heath is very poetic. His ramblings are a real eye opener and you see him in a different light. He's gruff and a jerk at times, but wearing a mask is easy isn't it? And he proves that it is.
It's so hard to talk about this book because it's a tale that has its own set of twists and turns. This is a pen pals to lovers type story with tons of twists that keep you hooked and turning the pages. That's all I'm going to say.
Even 4 chapters in and I was grinning like a fool. The irony of this book was funny yet at the same time deep down you wonder what's going to happen.
Overall, I loved it! The author shocked me with some aspects but those twists really worked for the story. The writing was amazing and I loved seeing all the letter. 4.5 stars #2OCCJD
I loved this book. It is sweet, romantic, crazy, makes you think and I love how there is connections all over the place. I felt the connection since part of it takes place in Montana where I'm from. Even though these characters have a unique set of obstacles to overcome they are still very relatable on how they deal with what is thrown their way. My favorite quotes from the book are: "You need to make her see your emotions. Show her your heart and she'll take care of it" "I've been on tenterhooks, hoping no one from my past finds me" I think this book is a must read!!!!!

Raw, passionate and flawlessly written.
The intensity of this story blew me away and the flood of emotions I felt was unexpected. Regardless of the content, which I will say is strictly 18+ this was a gripping read and one that had you stuck like glue to it until the very end. What a roller coaster ride I traveled on with this story line.
What I loved the most was the connection I felt to Dani’s characters. There was a reality to them that had me feeling everything along with them. I can’t explain the feeling I get when I am pulled into a great book, living that story alongside the characters.
The story of Heath and Leah is one you won’t want to miss.
This one wasn't for me. I just couldn't connect with the characters and I didn't like the writing style. It sounded so artificial. And the Heroes voice (he's supposed to be 39) sounded like a 17 year old boy, with a major crush and heartbreak and no plans at all. Nothing about 17 year old boys, but when a character is supposed to be a 39 year old man, with a 15 year prison experience, I need him to sound like it.
So that's all. I just didn't feel the story. Nothing wrong with it, it's just me.
This storyline had so much potential!! It started out so great too. Unfortunately, the writing was just poor. There was so little character development that all of the relationships- even with secondary characters - were so weak that I felt like I had to fill in the blanks myself. The book read like it was a rough draft and the author meant to go back and add more after the complete story was planned out. Everything just felt forced and rushed.
