Okay - not the greatest ending but the rest of it had a nice pace in a well thought out cozy. The ending though felt a little bit half baked as if it was 'oh! good I've finished'. The characters too felt a bit as if they need a bit more flesh on the bones to real jump out at you. Hopefully this will become clear in the next book. She had left home after her mother's death but now she was back. Back to help her sister run the funeral parlour as her father had started to loose his vision. The first client was a young girl who had hanged herself. Only as the sisters discovered it hadn't been suicide but murder. Someone had drugged her and then killed her. The girl's family could only be described as dysfunctional - a drunk for a father, a mother with a young lover and sisters who didn't seem to care. The more she finds out about the dead girl the more lovers she finds. Was the a lover or a girlfriend? Plus her sister is having problems with her long term boyfriend and she has found that her school use is going out with one f the minions of her arch enemy. Will they find the killer?
