Great! Very informative!

I plan on recommending this to many of my friends! Some great ideas were included and I can’t wait to use these different strategies. I have all ready begun to use Squabble Stoppers and Good choice vs bad choice and have seen the difference!

Try it, you'll like it!

My default reaction when my kids misbehave was anger and I can tell you that it wasn't working. After reading Ms Clark's book I now have 8 techniques that are based on love and with the goal of creating a stronger parent child relationship. Ms Clark makes it easy to understand the techniques by sharing parents' stories and then walking the reader through how to apply the appropriate technique. I've already tried a few and I'm excited to already see positive changes!

Good "children manual". It contains basic strategies and techniques presented in day-to-day scenarios. We all know, that children will sooner or later over smart you no matter how much do you read or try. But this book can help, for example with this advice for eating:

Parents are responsible for what is presented to eat and the manner in which it is presented.
Children are responsible for how much they eat even whether they eat.

Books about parenting saying the same in different words. Easy to read but difficult to practice. This book is not bad but is not the best. Telling children that they made a bad decision, when they do not behave as we wish sounds strange to me.
