Three years ago, Shimone Johnson found herself struggling with being pregnant and barely out of high school. Now she is a senior in college and majoring in Music. With his sister, Nicole, feeling depressed and neglected by her family and friends and his mother dealing with an unfaithful husband, Ronald tries his hardest to draw closer to the ones that need him the most. Nothing in Imani Madison's life could seem to go better than they are now. She has the relationship she's longed for and a loving family who is always there when she needs them to be. When her best friend, Nicole, begins begging for attention in the most harmful ways, Imani can only feel sorry for her, but can't seem to pull herself away from the love of her life in order to be there for her friend. And when certain desires enter Imani's romantic relationship, she has to make the ultimate God's way or her own. When secrets, lies, and pain began to tests these relationships, will these families be able to grab a hold onto God and allow Him to bring them through the storm?

I thought this was a really good book! I don't give spoilers but I can say that it really covered a lot of situations that christians and people in general go through. This was a book that kept me up into the early morning reading. I loved the characters and would love for a sequel to come out. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because there were so many characters it was hard to keep track at times. The book was written well so there were no name mix ups but it still was a lot for me that is just a personal opinion.

Great book. Maybe I shouldn't be more pissed at the people in the book than I am since it is a Christian novel but I guess I need working on...lol Such as with Marques lashing at Shimone and questioning her Christianity because of something HE did..SMH. boy stop playing...anyways great! ON TO GRACE AND MERCY

This book was very good. This book will make you think on how you would handle any given relationship, also with your spiritual walk and make you think about forgiveness quite a bit. It's a must read.

I liked this book, but the only problem I had with it is I feel like there were too many characters. I didn't like the many story lines because it took me a while to figure out who was who. Other than that, I enjoyed the book.
