I fell in love with sexy Seth Lane and his beautiful wife, Zee, when an amazingly sweet woman named Pam gifted me a copy of Detecting Lust: an erotic detective novel (Sin). Seth was a charming and dedicated detective with the SVU and had a special way of putting victims at ease and finding them justice. Zee was his muse and unknowingly helped her husband put the unconnected pieces of the case together.

In Detecting Envy, the case involved a victim of date rape and the suspect was a renowned championship boxer. Seth was determined to solve the case and provide the victim with closure, despite the perp's notoriety.

Again, this was a wonderfully lustful dip into the eternal love pond of Seth and Zee. Their marriage was stronger than ever and I admired how united they were regardless of Ashley's machinations to have Seth. Thankfully she finally learned about his wife (that omission pissed me off in the last book) and understood that she stood ABSOLUTELY no chance! Honestly, I could have down without her POV, which only made her appear pathetic. I had no sympathy for her because even after meeting Zee she was still hungry for her man. Silly silly girl.

I'm so happy to know that this series will continue and that I can expect more from my boy, Seth!!

Well Sexy Seth Lane is at it again. I mean I don't know how that man does it...he is hot, sexy, smart, funny, and he can solve a crime like no one else. Seth also got a partner and I am not so sure how I feel about her. I can tell you how I feel about the way that Seth and his Wife Zee interact....I FLOVE it...they are so stinking cute together it makes for GREAT sex scenes. I mean she does do yoga so I guess being bendy comes in handy...lol.
I love that this story makes you think a little its not just all sex non stop, there is a real story there. I love that Zee helps and encourages him every step of the way. Did I mention that they have really really steamy sex...anyway...if you have not read the first book in this series Detecting Lust, you should pick it up and then read Envy...and get ready for the next book.

Seth and Zee are back! Detecting Envy kept me glued to my kindle all day. It has romance, it has fan-your-face hotness, and it keeps you guessing until the end. So if you like a good "who dunnit" story with a side of the feels and the tingles, this is a must read for you. And ladies, if you enjoyed the "basemen scene" in the last book, this one will def add to your fun-real. So run that hot steamy bubble bath, grab a glass a wine and tell your hubby/boyfriend to be ready for you in a couple of hours.

Good thing this book isn't that long because I don't think I could have handled much more.

Seth Lane is a detective in the Special Victims Unit. Ashley is his new partner and his new case is going to make headlines if the perpetrator turns out to be the heavy weight champion Ben 'The Lightning' Franklin!

WTF?! I can't even begin. I don't know where to start. So many things.

First! FIRST I absolutely hate it when the cervix is mentioned during sex. If you're a woman author: shame on you. If you're a man: do your research! There is no pleasure to be had near the cervix. Nor will it open to allow big dicks to pass through. Just NO!

Moving on. Ashley was a train wreck. She's supposed to be a detective. A rookie. But still a detective. She doesn't know what roofies are. She's constantly day dreaming about Seth. Even after she finds out he's married. She's unprofessional, dim-witted, and seriously needs to rethink her profession.

Seth and Zee's relationship was the only interesting thing about this book and even that couldn't save it.

The case was ridiculous. The 'nerds' not knowing about DNA in family members was the absolute dumbest thing ever. They're supposed to be so smart yet they jump to some moronic plasma transfer theory. No. I know nothing about this stuff and I figured it out halfway through the book. Predictable.

I didn't read he first installment in this series. Just jumped to this one because of a contest. And I honestly am glad I don't have to read any more of it. The random Ebonics were enough to give me a migraine. So done.

This is the second book in the Erotic Detective Novel series by Mikey Lee. I really liked the first book although I didn't like Ashley flirting with Seth. I'm annoyed that it took him all that time to tell Ashley that he was married and even after that she was still fantasizing about him while flicking her bean. Reading Ashley's POV was uncomfortable, creepy and I didn't like it at all nor do I understand why it was even in there. I think Seth should have set Ashley straight the first time she flirted with him but instead he encouraged it. The book itself was very well written and the storyline was good but the whole Ashley bullshit left a really bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure I would want to read the next one.

Even though it's the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. It's written in third person POV. The story was good, but I didn't quite connect to the story or the characters. This may be because of the writing style. There were times that I got lost as to whose POV it was. It would change within a few sentences. I really liked the relationship between Zee and Seth. They make the perfect couple. Seth knows his priorities. Even when he's caught up in work, he makes sure to text Zee. I love that she doesn't feel insecure about Seth's new partner being a good looking woman. My favorite part was when she claim/mark her territory. I didn't like the way Ashley was crushing on Seth, especially after she found out that he was married. It felt like she was a teenage girl and a bit unprofessional. I didn't understand why it was focused on. It should have been on the back burner. The Captain didn't seem like he was right for his position. He didn't even know what Rohypnol was. Shouldn't he know this if he's the captain of SVU? He made it sound like Seth was doing something that no one would think of doing when it was common sense. It wasn't hard to figure out who the culprit was.

This is my first book by this author and even though it was the second book, I didn't feel like I was missing anything except for The progress in relationship between Seth And Zee.

I loved the action/ mystery that surrounds Seths job. I'm a huge fan of trying to figure out who did it type books and this one totally kept me hooked.

I loved the relationship between the two main characters. It was hot and steamy, and you can totally tell it's true love.

I don't want to give too much away about this book because it was fun and hot, and something I think people that enjoy a great mystery would enjoy. I was guessing till the very end!

Overall, it was a great read, and I will be going back to read book 1, and then stalking this author in the near future. I'm very interested in seeing more of Ashley. 4 stars #2OCCJD

I'm in love with Mikey's writing style and the amazing words he uses because he makes everything so hot! Seth and Zee are so hot together and I can only imagine the dirty things in my head and act them out with my husband!! Seth's skills as a detective are pretty amazing but I was disappointed with the interaction with Ashley. I really thought we would either see more of what I didn't see happen or I secretly hoped for a threesome of sorts. I'm not sure what I was hoping for with Ashley but what happened had me a little disappointed. I would really like to see more of Ashley or her get her own book, as she is becoming an interesting character for me to read. Despite the whole flirting with a married man thing but in her defense he doesn't wear a wedding ring at work so I can understand the flirting with a hot guy!

This is the second book in this series by Mikey Lee. I liked this book because I found it to be amusing and I like the idea of a male author writing romance novels. Having a male author of a romance novel brings an interesting point of view to the genre- especially when the main character is also male. That being said, it's easy to see that the author is new to the writing profession and that this was an independently published novel. Like with the first book in this series, many aspects of the story could have been fleshed out a little more (no pun intended). A lot more details could have been added and I would've liked the book to be a little longer n order to read those details.. Other aspects of the story could have been toned down quite a bit. Your wife is an awesome piece of amazingness and you love her SO much. We get it Seth! Yoga instructors ARE pretty sweet! All in all though, this book is pretty good and the story is intriguing. With some polishing up, this story (and the author) could be a bestseller.

This is the second book in the Sin Series. The main character in this book is Seth, a detective with an uncanny ability to solves cases. He is supported by his wife Zee and his new partner Ashley. Seth and Ashley are once again trying to solve a case of rape. The victim only remembers pieces of the night but what she does remember is incriminating for a well known boxing star. As Seth and Ashley gather information and evidence they quickly realize that not everything is as it appears. And once again, it is Zee, who through one night of uninhibited sex that makes Seth realize the motive in his current case. This is a great story with mystery and hawt sex!!🔥

Mysteriously Hot

Seth Lane is above average in everything...and I mean everything. But the man is incredible at figuring it out...with a little Zee inspiration! Zee and Seth have to be the hottest already married couple I've ever read. Their love is one for the ages. But more than that the supporting characters like Ashley and the lab techs (what's their names? Lol) truly add so much to the story. I hope for more from them in the next book in the series.

This is my first book from this author and second book in series. I don't feel I was lost starting with second book and not reading the first. This is about a hot detective who now has to train his new partner while solving a case. There is also the relationship b/w Seth and is wife Zee which is hot and steamy alone. I would def recommend to read and hopefully we will see more with Ashley in the 3rd book.

Detecting Envy is the second book in the Sin series, but it was my first book by this author. The book is about the same couple as the first book in the series, but I don’t think that that book ended with a cliffhanger since this book is about a new case for detective Seth Lane. I never had the feeling that I missed something by not reading the previous book.

This book starts with a very hot first chapter! What a way to start a book. I knew from the start that Zee and Seth are a solid couple that love each other very much. While the book is mostly about Seth solving a case, there are still a few scenes about Zee and Seth or Seth thinking about Zee. I won’t have minded more scenes about them since I love them together, but this book isn’t long.

Seth is one hardworking, determined and smart detective! He always knows what to do next why solving the case and he has it solved in no time. This case is about a sexual assault and the woman is accusing someone famous. Seth has his doubts, but he follows the evidence. He is used to working alone, but he has a new partner, Ashley. He definitely tries to work with her, but he sometimes forgets. Ashley looks forward to learning from Seth. She also works hard and wants to proof to Seth that she can be a great partner. The only thing that let this book down was Ashley thinking about Seth too many times.

GREAT chemistry!

Detective Lane has great working chemistry with Officer Hart. They've worked together before on another case. Det. Lane wants to give Officer Hart some helpful tips in working in SVU. Det. Lane and a great relationship with his wife Zee. The love scenes for them are hot and spicy. I think that everyone would like the book if they like crimes and sexy love in the same book.

Because it was billed as erotica, I expected a romance, but there was none. I reacted very strongly and negatively to the way Seth treated his partner, Ashley-- mansplains everything, calls her unprofessional diminutives, and makes her go get coffee. Meanwhile, Ashley is obsessed with Seth, even after discovering he is married and meets his wife. The attraction between Seth and his wife didn't convince me. I half expected her to announce she'd been cheating on him and file for divorce, opening the door for Ashley, but that didn't happen. The central detective case is a too-easily-solved mystery, except for why anyone working in law enforcement after would need Police 101 explained so extensively.

Add in grammatical errors, tense confusion, and anatomical incorrectness (vagina and cervix are not the same thing), and I strongly recommend another round of edits to the .mobi file.

WOW Mikey Lee has done it again. From the first HOT chapter in the book I literally read this in under 24 hrs as I was hooked.

Seth Lane is on the hunt again for the perp for an assault crime against a woman. He is thorough as he wants to make sure the investigation is done by the book. With his new partner Ashley, for whom he is teaching how to be a awesome detective, they work through the case to catch the bad guy without a doubt. He follows the rules for the most part but always gets his man in the end.

Seth and his wife Zee are also the perfect team outside of the office. Zee is the outside partner that helps with the investigations without necessarily being in on the full process. When he figures out what Zee has shown him in the bedroom in a round about way that helps with the investigation, he happily shows his appreciation for the help she has given to him.

I can't wait to see what Detecting Greed has in store for us as the first two books follow along with the name of the book in the stories.

Definitely ALLURING!

Amazing book on how true love, understanding and support can be the ultimate foundation to a couple. Allowing them to endure all things.

Detective Seth Lane and his wife Zee understand that hard work at home is just as important as hard work at the office. Compromising emotionally, mentally and definitely physically can help them through anything.

Author Mikey Lee takes you on an amazing ride filled with mystery, intrigue, fun and love that is hot, sexy and intensely ALLURING! Lee's brilliant, descriptive writing takes you there... making the words turn into a movie you cannot stop watching. My first of Author Mikey Lee and definitely not my last.

Hot damn I really hope my Kindle will recover from this hotter than a burning sun erotic little number.

This was my first book by this author who writes a very strong Alpha male. I did find Seth to be a bit vain, however, he was still very much likable especially due to his love for Zee and his devotion to her.

I would like to see where the author could go with a female lead (perhaps Ashley's story) - in the meantime I'll keep an eye out for this author.

From the first wickedly hot page to the last, Detecting Envy is a wonderful follow up to Mikey Lee's first novel, Detecting Lust. These are standalone books, but why would you only want to read one?!
This time around, Detective Seth Lane is investigating a brutal assault. The woman has little recollection of leaving a party held by a world champion fighter, and Seth and his partner Ashley Hart have several leads to research before solving the crime.
This is a fun and sexy book, and I love the interaction between Seth and his wife Zee. This book was totally enjoyable, and definitely recommended!

This story had very well written erotic scenes. I gave it 4 stars because of the obvious story holes (i.e. The guys who work in a police lab but know very little about DNA results, a police captain who doesn't know what a date rape drug is, etc.). Overall it is a good story and worth the read.
